My family always spends New Year's Eve at home. We prepare food, snacks and alcohol and then sit down to watch few movies or anime. We would start 'celebrating' early and go to sleep short after watching fireworks at midnight and lighting up some sparkles. This year I was on my own and after watching Spirited Away and having some Cider, I went to sleep at 10pm.

Hi guys! Happy New Year! I am from Puerto Rico and because it’s always warm weather we can be outside enjoying the festive holidays. I am used to celebrate with family and neighbors. Some times even go to other peoples parties after welcoming the new year with my family. This year I stay in my house and greeted my family and friends by phone . Happy New Year!!! Usually I spent new years at home with my parents, we cook and then watch the ball drop. This year, I went to a friends place here in Tokyo since I couldn't travel back home, we played some D&D and had hot pot for dinner, then had drinks and soba noodles at midnight. Then the next morning we went out to a local shrine to get our fortunes for the new year.
Somehow l missed this video so l'm seeing this in late October 2021 (better late than never). Love those Biscoff cookies too. I always remembered them being served on airplanes. Thankfully l can find them at Walmart or online. Happy belated New Year everyone. I'll be sure to be on time for the next one! 🇨🇦

New Year was always super chilled for me my whole life, as a kid the "fun" was just getting to stay up late & when I got older I was never one to go out for it coz everything is a rip off or just way too busy I wouldn't enjoy it, so I stay in, get some food & a drink & watch BBC New Year TV. So 2020 actually wasn't different for me!
Happy New Year! Hoping 2021 is a kinder year to everyone than 2020 was. I usually stay in on NYE too because I've never really been into crowds and lots of partying/drinking, so I did the same as usual and just listened to music and had a few drinks at home with my family
We usually go out and maybe watch the fireworks, or just stay in and watch the fireworks on TV. But this year we spent it playing Nintendo switch games with 2 other friends till 3am LOL. IT WAS SO COLD IN SINGAPORE TOO!!! It rained the whole day on 1st Jan and so many areas were flooded, the temperature even dropped to 21 degrees celsius which is so rare for SG!
We are so lucky living in California, because we can watch the ball drop in New York with the full countdown and celebration at 9:00. We are usually in bed by 10:00. It started when our kids were little and they begged to stay up to midnight, so we tricked them by staying up till 9 to watch the ball drop. It has stuck all these years and is the perfect way to spend New Years Eve!

Happy New Years y’all :-) I’m hispanic so New Years is always celebrated with a giant family gathering with mariachi, dancing, and LOTS of shots, but this year it was just my mom, my brother, and me eating takeout pho and falling asleep before midnight and it was just as enjoyable :-) hoping for a healthy and better 2021 for everyone!

lol i've/my family has always celebrated new years by treating it like any other day ie eat at normal time, do work if there's any, eat, sleep, eat, sleep etc
My hubby and I had a tradition for a few years of playing WoW together on NYE, bc that's what we had to do our first new years together bc we were long distance. It's evolved into watching movies together. We just chill. Neither of us like crowds anyways, so our NYE wasn't effected at all.

My friends are saber fencers, I've been in a club competing for nearly 15 years. It's still amazing! We eat, drink beer and fence in the driveway with flashlights ! We do a murder mystery too. I miss them so much. I miss fencing. Being active. Happy healthy New Year

Fortunately my new year's this year was very similar to all the other years before haha. We're still allowed to meet in groups of 10 here so me and my 3 friends met and celebrated together at one of their houses :) Had some drinks, went outside at midnight to look at the fireworks and built a snowman! It was a small intimate new year exactly how I like it lol. I can imagine some people being upset about not being able to go to the clubs to celebrate but for me it was perfect!
I am not really a big partier so usually I dont do anything for New Years. Its never been a big thing for me. And this year I had to be up to get ready for work at 330am so yeah I was in bed by 930. Also, Sweet Home was amazing!!!

But I think Toronto is definitely more expensive than Nova Scotia.

Happy New Years y’all :-) I’m hispanic so New Years is always celebrated with a giant family gathering with mariachi, dancing, and LOTS of shots, but this year it was just my mom, my brother, and me eating takeout pho and falling asleep before midnight and it was just as enjoyable :-) hoping for a healthy and better 2021 for everyone!
Beemo was not having that, going back and forth for a free handout lol!

lol i've/my family has always celebrated new years by treating it like any other day ie eat at normal time, do work if there's any, eat, sleep, eat, sleep etc
My hubby and I had a tradition for a few years of playing WoW together on NYE, bc that's what we had to do our first new years together bc we were long distance. It's evolved into watching movies together. We just chill. Neither of us like crowds anyways, so our NYE wasn't effected at all.

My friends are saber fencers, I've been in a club competing for nearly 15 years. It's still amazing! We eat, drink beer and fence in the driveway with flashlights ! We do a murder mystery too. I miss them so much. I miss fencing. Being active. Happy healthy New Year

Fortunately my new year's this year was very similar to all the other years before haha. We're still allowed to meet in groups of 10 here so me and my 3 friends met and celebrated together at one of their houses :) Had some drinks, went outside at midnight to look at the fireworks and built a snowman! It was a small intimate new year exactly how I like it lol. I can imagine some people being upset about not being able to go to the clubs to celebrate but for me it was perfect!
I am not really a big partier so usually I dont do anything for New Years. Its never been a big thing for me. And this year I had to be up to get ready for work at 330am so yeah I was in bed by 930. Also, Sweet Home was amazing!!!
