@Jerry Christian my point is why use the phone to send music by Bluetooth. Bluetooth converts a 32 bit flac file with 500hz to a 19bit 80hz and looses all frequency by air. When the dac can support the same sd card to place the same files of music you have inside the phone and play wired iem with a good quality. I have a friend that did that. Bluetooth from phone to dac, then dac to iem and the sound was terrible . Better to fill the sd card with good files and that's it. Problem solved .
@@jexcaliburning even the phones dac chip is so bad that I never dream of playing music with a phone. That's why I have dacs. 4 of them. And there is dacs with power that costs 50 bucks. That place phones in the garnish
I've had two for the last few years and the volume dial on BOTH has failed. Shanling refuses to fix or replace them and says for me to have the store where I bought them take care of it! Horse feathers!
is it worth getting regarding sound quality , since i have shanling M5s but i need a small (ipod like) player for small pockets. how big is the difference in sound between both?
I am very noob when it comes to things like this so please answer me this question. Is there any point in buying that if I already have an android phone that has a 3.5mm port? I mean it can also play music... Do they have vastly differences when it comes to sound quality?
@@akshaysharma2786 Absolutely, as a failed former amateur 'audiophile' myself - you spend 1000s to justify 1000s for little benefit to most ears. For example - DAP, then dongles, better IEMs, larger SD cards, time spent to search for FLACs etc. It's a rabbit hole.
Yes. It supports practically all formats. It also plays up to 32 Bit 384 kHz. It's f+cking awesome! I'm extremely happy that I bought one. I will say though that I only get 9.5 hrs of battery life using my 3.5 mm Tin HiFi T2 IEM's. Shanling says 14.5 hrs but I don't think that's accurate.
What the point of receiving Bluetooth. Makes no point. And why not a clip for shirt. Plus shirt cables for gym or sports . Plus hiby eq is really bad. They should learn from sony how to make eq
Better to do same in local market as tools require, battery require and most important fine skill also require. My personal experience if device is costly then take service support and if cheap do it yourself R&D😂
98% of the users in the world have 3.5mm normal plug. Now they are making it even harder by making 3.5mm balanced socket, with separate adapter which is available with only 2% stores in the world. Then they are offering 4.4mm output socket to it. Now we need 4.4mm balanced male to 3.5mm normal stereo output adapter. Unless they realize that they should provide 3.5mm balanced male to 3.5mm stereo female socket in the box. So if 98% of the headphone population does not want to get these 2 adapters, they will have to keep using the single ended output at the cost of balanced. Did you try to ask them these questions after review?
@@chanderjeet7 Yes it worked. But it is still a product that has an adapter sold separately, which works with only m0 pro. But I found out that it works great and sounds amazing.
@@KetansaCreatesArt 4.4mm balance output is using single dac chip each side so give more clarity. I personally experience same and now find 4.4mm output in any dac/dap first before purchase
I really wish they included that balanced cable with purchase, gots to go balanced out.
This mini daps make more sense than dongles, they can be used as transport to a better dac/amp as well. Thanks
Never understood why people buy dacs. For pc I understand. For phones, I dont

Does the player have option to delete file from play screen? Any one?
So, can you use this DAP player to talk on the phone, when you connect a USB type-C headphone or a 3.5 mm jack headphone/headset/inear....
