Nice! For such a relatively easy to do/change mod man it gave you great results 😁 What's the max rpm? I honestly have zero doubt that you'll not only blow through 55mph soon, but hit 60 😊✌
@@SmallEngineVelocity YW, and thanks for checking my video out too! 😊 We're keeping you whole area (you and fam included) in our thoughts and prayer, my friend, been watching the weather channel lots (not pushing my beliefs by any means, when I say that it's just my you know we care enough to take our time to do so 👍). Anxious to see the progress on this project. You've got me wanting a Ruckus myself since I found your channel, LOL! 😁 (so when I save and eventually get one, I'll tell the wife Ceasar made me do it! 😋🤣)
Small Engine Velocity if a hurricane does hit this year get out there in the eye of the storm if you can. With the air pressure being so high you should pick up some extra speed 🏍
@@SmallEngineVelocity hey can you tell me what the basic parts are to achieve 50? i already have a ncy cdi on the way and soon some sliders most likely.
You challenge me to beat 56 and then you tell me I’m killing my motor? It’s in the interest of the ruckus scene. Plus in reality I’m running higher speeds at a much lower rpm than I was on my stock gears so it’s better for my motor. 10250 rpm to hit 50 or 9400 rpm on Met gears to hit just under 54mph.
I'm not challenging you. I'm just letting you know that someone got to 56 mph on a stock Ruckus motor. I'm just wondering why you put this much needless stress on a stock Ruckus motor that wasn't designed to go 50 mph.
@@SmallEngineVelocity z is at the dynotuner. Hopefully no later than next friday the 19th. I'll get it back. Had 143bbk w/ crank installed now at tuner, its been in the shop a looooong time, since march 18th
i have a met and got a ruckus CVT to stretch (uninstalled) and i'm contemplating keeping the ruck gears and going heavier roller weights to keep my top speed. i'm topping out a about 46 right now but my accel is dog water. prob bc i weigh 270
I’ve seen that video. Sorry man but I’ve seen direct results of testing different weights. So if I put 3g weights and test ride and 13g weights I will get the same speed by your logic. You said “ roller weights has no effect on top speed, unless your variate is not tuned correctly..” how Do you tune your varriator? You tune with weights.
Great video. If you drop to a 120 rear tire it will help with take off / hills and barely notice a difference at top speed. I recently swapped to the more expensive kitaco gears. Those require even lighter weights, like 4.5 or lower but I'm getting better results top and bottom. If you decide to splurge on a set do yourself a favor and have them hardened by a machine shop before install.
Hi Caesar...I have a 2020 Yamaha Zuma 125cc on order ! ( SO EXCITED ). I have owned several different motorcycles before but this will be my first scooter. Quick question.....What would be an adequate number of pound feet of torque to get in a impact driver to work on the CVT / Clutch... Variator etc ?Thanks muchPaul
I have 20v DeWalt cordless and it’s plenty (maybe you need to work the clutch bell a bit). You will need it if you are playing in the CVT a lot and I hope you are because it’s FUN! Congrats man!
Would you say heavy rollers for top speed? Also you still have the get engine? If so not bad at all i have an 80cc chuckus and ride around 42 43 mph still stock cvt. Looking at naraku kit
Great question and will turn into a video soon! As soon as you can grab 9800-10k rpm pretty easily and hit 50. Met gears is a 30% change and makes it harder to push ... like a smaller sprocket on a chain. So get as much power as you can before you do this
Is the ruckus registered as a moped / scooter / or motorcycle? mine is registered as a moped which means legally I can only go 30mph. yet im hitting 50mph, any recommendations to be on the legal side of things? thanks love the content
So if i hit up facbook ruckus forum someone will likely wanna swap gears for a metropolitan? Id even throw in a pizza and a few cold drinks for the labor.

Thanks :) gotta find that longer road. Probably tomorrow if a hurricane does not hit. Also nice vid today man :)

Hey SEV. Thanks for sharing. Subscribed!
Cool thanks :) more ruckus videos this year. I got a new project I am working on and will come out Sunday on a few weeks
@@SmallEngineVelocity Do you have any upcoming local meetups or other small engine events?
Gosh, I remember my first time with met gears, I love them so much.
10:10 GO GET!
Nice man...those gears worked out phenomenal for you
Vong Lee a youtuber has got you beat. Apparently he got 56 mph on his stock Ruckus motor.
I’ll get there
You do realize that a stock Ruckus was never designed to go this fast. All you're doing is killing your motor.

Those gains crazy sauce
I would consider this a worthwhile modification.
I love how you can just swap out different gear cases
Only because I had a second one JUST in case the mod went sideways and not work like I wanted
What jets are you using
Niiiice. Draft a vehicle and watch it climb to 60!
I can’t wait !
Nice job.
2 shells at the same intersection ! 249 & louetta
Why don’t we ride together again man?

Yes , as long as your motor is strong enough to spin thoes heavy weights
@@SmallEngineVelocity thanks, ive been looking for one of your videos where you are tunning weights and wrote it on a board i cant seem to find it

Stock belt. 78/37 I think.

what have you changed from stock? I just bought a Ruckus and im trying to buy all the right stuff first and not have to experiment. Thanks!
Go with 2k springs!
2k? I have 4K pinkies right now

Hey, what upgrades did you do before the met gears?
