I've been so sad and hopeless lately because of the endless tribulations i've been going through. I want to be more faithful to Him and praise him more 'even when it hurts' but it so hard sometimes. I want to feel His love and permit myself to feel that because I don't think i'm worth it, of His love.
We can be blinded by that "I don't worth it" thought. And actually it is true. However, God loves us no matter what. We can always start fresh with Him, and that true is so much greater, Carol. We can go to the altar of His presence, always, just as we are.
Don't give up. You are absolutely right, it is hard sometimes and that is how the enemy works. Decide every day that you will continue to hope. Decide every day that you will spend time with God in His word, this is where you will find strength. Trust me, I have been in your shoes. I still have a day every so often but it is so much easier now to get past those few moments of discouragement. I always thought when you became a Christian things were supposed to be fixed and easy, but that is so far from the truth. The truth is the enemy will fight for you but God also fights for you and that sweet friend is where a good bit of your craziness comes from. But the joy and peace you receive as you grow closer and closer to God is such a blessing. Hang in there, eternity with our Heavenly Father is worth every bit of adversity we go through.

Generally, when listening to an album, I tend to have two favourites. My favourite song, and my favourite performance. This song is by far my favourite performance from the entire Zion album, not just the acoustic sessions. It's so wonderfully complex a tune, yet so easy to understand. The layering is beautiful, the way it effectively restarts twice is beautiful, and of course, as usual, the vocals are beautiful.
