  • Things aren't always as they seem! I knew there was an issue but it took a few minutes! When there's a screen involved, no telling where the blockage is!!!
    Please LIKE and SUBSCRIBE and let me know where you're watching! I'm trying to grow this channel and shed a light on something that's often forgotten and extremely dangerous!
    Please check out my website for my Quick Connect Periscope! It's the PERFECT product that replaces the flex hose connection and GETS THE MACHINE CLOSER TO THE WALL! Safer than ANY flex hose behind your dryer! No more fooling with connecting the dryer to the duct! No more lint leakage forcing you to dust constantly!

    Cleaning your dryer vent should be on your "to do" list regardless of if you own or rent your home! ESPECIALLY if your vent is run in a tight crawl space.

    Screens that keep you in business. Glad my vent is eye level, so I can monitor it. Great work for this customer.

      You are SOOOOO correct, lol! I do hate it for the homeowners because typically, they've already purchased a new dryer and now they still have a bad vent.... Hopefully they catch it before they have a repair bill on their brand-new machine!!! I appreciate you watching and commenting! It really helps!

    You're so respectful inside the homes, whispering so as not to bother residents (I assume?).
    Very considerate!

      LOL, that's why I whisper in some videos... Folks aren't interested in hearing even more of my loudness... Thanks for your kind words!

    I expected a higher airflow reading after cleaning, but the flex with the bend in it knocks it down.

    Excellent vent cleaning. The new roof looks very poorly installed. At least you do good work.

    What is the name of the company that makes the brushes you use? Also have you came across dryer vents that we’re disconnected and what did you do?

    • @advsLLC
      @advsLLC  Месяц назад +1

      It's a prototype I'm currently working on producing. Thx for asking! And when I come across a disconnected vent, it's my job to fix it regardless of what it takes!

    I presume that the screen keeps birds, rats and other things out of the rooftop vent. Mine is on a tile roof has a screen and is cleaned frequently.

    When measuring the airflow, the speed/mph is of no use. You want the CFM/volume measurement. I can blow with my mouth to get a thin high velocity airstream to hit the measuring device and get a big number, but you want to know how big volume of air is being able to escape the dryer. Just as an example, a 4" pipe will have a higher airspeed than a 6" pipe if the volume is the same, but the CFM will be the same number.

      Agreed however most homeowners can relate more to MPH vs CFM because they're accustomed to MPH in daily life. I do agree with everything you said though! Thanks for watching as well as your comment. You're 100% on the money!
