Thanks for not decluttering palettes just because they are limited edition. It’s kind of annoying to see creators freak out over using limited edition palettes. It’s like, we’re okay, we can deal with it. Great declutter!!

many people can create the looks with things in their own collection (& that doesn't encourage overconsumption, so that's always a nice bonus)
I know right, I feel like a lot of people buy because it’s limited so it’s off putting to see you tubers get rid of it just for that reason, like it’s condoning the cycle of consumption. To me you should keep what you love/inspires you, and if I see it in a video then I’m inspired to dupe it. Declutter if because you don’t like it or want it anymore is fair enough but I find it so odd getting rid of things because they’re limited.

Every time I see "It's freakin bats" and "Club Nebula" palettes I get so excited even though I own them already. And it's not even that you and Angie are my favourite beauty creators, the palettes are just that gorgeous. They're my absolute favourite palettes of all time and they work so well together. Whenever I wear them I get so many compliments 💙💚💜 Both of you did such wonderful jobs! Hope to see you do more collabs in the near future, because if you do, rest assured that I'll be there with my little wallet getting ready to buy all dem shadows 😅

Never feel bad keeping something that’s discontinued! I think a collection should be what you love. I get why RUclipsrs don’t feel like they can or should keep discontinued products, but if you love something you shouldn’t feel obligated to get rid of it.
I wrote a book of hopepunk sci-fi and fantasy short stories that was published in October, and on my YT channel I am pairing every story with an eyeshadow palette and creating a look inspired by/that symbolizes the story. I chose your It’s Freakin’ Bats palette to symbolize one of my stories! I haven’t gotten that far in my book yet, though! Your eyeshadow look today has totally expanded my mind on the possibilities of the looks that palette is capable of making!!

Oooh I’ve been waiting for this one!! I’m glad you don’t declutter palettes just because they’re limited edition, if they still bring a lot of joy I don’t see the reason for getting rid of them! It also gives the opportunity to recommend products that can be duped 🖤

Recently decluttered my collection - had about 30 pallets and decluttered like 8 and a bunch of other stuff that was taking up space in my draw.. watching your declutter is so satisfying and makes me happy that I decluttered my collection too - I feel like everyone needs that satisfaction
If you find yourself missing Juvia's Place Tribe palette, reach for Colour Pop's Lush palette. They looked like similar vibes. ;) I just saw someone mention it, but I think it deserves repeating: thank you for not decluttering discontinued/limited palettes just because you can't get them anymore. Not only can palette vibes be duped, but what about all the people who were able to get it and want inspiration? Anyway, thanks for the video!

and I'm not even obsessed with blue but something about that palette, the contrast of warm and cool & those aurora lights shimmers on the right is just magical

The indigo ink from menagerie was very ehh looking at it online but when swatching the colors and seeing them on the skin and eyes it is such a cool color story and very unique in my collection.
Your declutter/collection videos are one of the best Batty Bean! The closeup, sorting, laying them out, and attention to detail...highlighting what you like about each of them colorstorywise compared to others. Love!

I don’t declutter much just cause I don’t have as much. But I actually just decluttered my 3 Pinky Rose pallete to a friend. I just never reached for them, I think she really likes them though :)
I'd love for you to do like a throw back Thursday video where you use an older eyeshadow palette. Maybe use a random spinner app to to pick the palette too

😸 I love seeing people's collections because I can live vicariously through them. I have around 30 palettes; I have to keep my collection small, not only for monetary reasons, but simply because if I have too many things I get overwhelmed with indecision and then fallback on something basic (an all-over shadow and winged liner) instead of experimenting and being creative (which is the whole reason I like having a diverse collection in the first place). I loved seeing what you have, though; and your overview of the piles at the end was so colorful and pleasing to look at. I can't wait to see what next year brings.
So many palettes so little time, this was super fun to watch. There were so many good palettes in this video. I have GMG Grunge, a lot of Melt, Oden's Eye Legendary Diversa, your Shroud collab and Arcana, Lethal is Dead, Nomad's Iceland and Haunted Europe (recent additions I love), the two Blend Bunny palettes, Club Nebula, and so many other good ones. 😺
Yessss 🙌🏽 I am so happy for this video!!! The work it took to film and edit!!! I recently did a declutter, got it down to 51 palettes (52 if you count the unearthly holiday box on the way). I got rid of my ace beaute palettes (the formula became dry and chalky and patchy), alter ego palettes, and a few old colourpop ones that used to be staples. The only neutrals I kept are maryjane, eclipse, and a 5 pan ND that I got in a boxycharm. This year I have been focused on only adding things to my collection that truly inspire me and fit with my vibe, instead of that collectors mentality. Think it is about time to declutter my ABH collection too. I keep them just for nostalgia. I don't reach for them!!! Going into the new year, I'd like to be more selective in my consumption as a whole. Not minimalist, but....mindful!!! Thank you for doing such a whopper of a video!!! It was great fun to watch and guess what you'd keep or give!!! Ok, novel over. 😸🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛😸

I think you did amazing at decluttering... that was a lot in my eyes... always love how you do declutters very organized and give actual time to see what your showing... im glad you keep limited edition ones.... we like seeing them too even if they are gone!
there were so many amazing palettes that came out this year. the wilderness palette was my favorite from this year. i’m still dying to try oden’s eye, nomad, glaminatrix and give me glow. your palette was soooo well worth the wait. i loveeee these types of videos. 😻

Love watching these palette videos, eyeshadow palettes are my weakness haha. You have a beautiful collection, great job with sorting out what you don’t really need. I really have to go through my palettes also, I don’t even know how many I have. I really would love to add that Ace Beaute tropical whatever palette, the newer one but it’s been out of stock. I realized while decluttering that I wasn't using a couple of my Colourpop palettes because the shadows arrangement was just confusing to me. I moved the colours around and everything was so much better!

I think while this year was definitely the year of cheek products aka blush and bronzer, particularly indie brands killed it with their eyeshadow palette releases. I also feel that by the end of the year more mainstream brands came out with some bomb palettes.

Blush Tribe became Myali Beauty. I believe Myali closed in March of this year. I think the panini was the official reason. If there was other reasons we'll probably never know.

If you tried to give some eyeshadow away to family and friends and they don't want it you can try depotting them and sticking magnets to the back and keeping them as singles for when you build your palettes. That's what I do all the time and it honestly saves me a little bit of space when I do it. If it's a few colors that I wanted to keep from it I will take those out and give the rest to my friends.

My fav eyeshadow palettes are sugarpill funsize, Menagerie Feral and Violet Ink, Lime Crime Venus 2, Pinky Rose Exotic Peacock.... and so many more lmao. I just love eyeshadows

I have several melt pallettes and love them all lol loved the smoke show so much I bought 2 🤫🤣 never had a problem with any of them,, I think they all blend like a dream and I love the color stories!! I want 3 of the ones you have and you should do yourself a favor and get the smoke show!! I promise that you won't be disappointed!! 😍💖😍

I think you did a great job, it's more about feeling good about what you keep instead of what the number ends up being. As for favorite palettes, yours, Theresa's, Unearthly (Alien) Lore, Lime Crime Greatest Hits Bangers, Kaleidos Lunar Lavender and Sashimi City, Juvia's Douce, and I just received Mama Mel's (RIP) Sydney Grace Tiny Marvels a couple weeks ago and it's an instant fave. Menagerie discontinued Whalesong, Killer Purr, and Feral. They will not come back when they are gone. Even the eyeshadow singles are being discontinued. The newer palette you were trying to think of is called Indigo Ink.

No One! NO ONE… will EVER get my My Little Pony Palette away from me! I do believe I also have a backup! There is something totally special about it. I have decluttered so many other of my CP palettes, and will be doing so again at the beginning of the year. I agree about Kailav's packaging and I truly wish they would listen to the numerous people who are saying this, bulk simply is bulk. I would truly love to get my hands on the two beauty bay palettes, been on a notify me list since the Wilderness palette first went out of stock and silence… so, they are not winning any awards. I love my Tokyo palette from Nomad, I am looking forward to trying more of their stuff in the future.. just not yet. Wanted the Blueberry palette for so very long but have so many blue shadows that I question it’s need and won’t be getting it. I just want to love what I have and get a few occasional others. Nothing huge anymore.😺

I’ve moved them to the top drawer now and plan to use them for a full week (I have Oceanic, Flair, Classical and Blossom Passion as well as the Grandiose that I think was in a Boxy Charm). Im so glad that you dont get rid of things just to be decluttering a high number of items. I find that incredibly stupid. If you wanna keep something for whatever reason (cute packaging, color story, sentimental purposes, nostalgia) just keep it. Its your collection. No sense in giving up things you enjoy. I think you did a great job. I would've hoarded them all & decluttered none lol.
