I love how u don't have the same cluster of palettes like all the other beauty RUclipsrs.
Have u ever thought of opening all the palettes at once u kept and just seeing which ones have the same color stories? I feel like ppl can get blinded by specific brands and end up keeping palettes that have the same colors.
I try to be very conscious if I’m keeping too many similar things!

I’ve been wondering what has been drawing me to the “forest” Odens Eye palette so strongly and you just NAILED it! It screams old school Zelda! How weird. I still want it
I vote for a Komodo Dragon palette!!!! And I love this look!
The only palette I think I’m decluttering this year is my ABH Modern Renaissance, which I’ve only kept since last year so I could try to dupe the the red, berry, and orange colors. It’s so old at this point, I’ve had it since the time in my makeup history when I would use one or two palettes constantly. I can’t even imagine only needing to do 4 or 5 different looks nowadays, I’d be so bored, I never want to do the exact same look more than twice.
I think I have 30 palettes now, and 3 (including your collab 🥰) on the way to me. I don’t own as many palettes that are super versatile, but I have quite a few smaller palettes, and I really enjoy mixing and matching and having tons of options. Eyeshadow is way more fun nowadays, with more choices than full on neutral or full on rainbow. How did I survive? 😂 I much prefer the creativity that happens on your channel with your amazing collection.

I sold my Melt Muerte palette and am working on duping the vibes with indie singles because I miss it so much. I could not make it work at all. Ever. It just. Hated me. I don't regret releasing it to someone who I know was ecstatic to buy it off me but I definitely love and miss it's color story.

Yes, I put 13 of the palettes on my wishlist. Some of them are ones you kept and some are ones you decluttered...and I'm ok with that. You introduced me to two new brands in this video that I hadn't heard of before and I've been watching you, Amy and Annette for the last 6 months or so. So I was pretty surprised that I hadn't heard of Pinky Rose or Dito before but I appreciate these videos because it shows me the brands I wouldn't hear about otherwise.

This is inspiring me to do a declutter. I have a terrible habit of buying palettes when I’m stressed or frustrated (this year has been difficult- multiple deaths in my family). It’s shameful but I have prob 30 palettes I’ve purchased and haven’t gotten around to using. I really want to knock the 130 palettes down to 100

Totally get why you decluttered them but for those in the comments on the fence: I LOVE those nomad quads. It’s the only formula in my collection that competes with Pat McGrath, seriously.

Yessss I was just thinking about/anticipating this video. I love how easy it is to see your style as you declutter. I am currently talking myself out of the Vivid Rose palette - I have every single color in other palettes that I really like, and so don’t need it. I believe the dragon child pallet still is the same size as the menagerie singles. So you could always get rid of the shadows that are going bad and reuse the case.
I really got into make up like a year ago and I love Menagerie eyeshadow formula (got it on your recommendation) and I learned about the Dragon child and those dusty purples I was sad I missed out on it. But seeing you declutter it made me feel better about it. I hope they revamp it and resale it! That would be awesome!

Since you’re such a great declutterer and I’m a hoarder in training, lol, would you ever consider doing a video on how you let go of things? Especially things like gifts that people gave you; I feel the need to keep cards from people who I’m not even close to, let alone actual gifts! I’d find that very interesting to hear! 😊
I don’t really know what else I could say that I didn’t say in this series tbh! I try to explain WHY i’m not hanging onto things. At the end of the day I just simply don’t want things just sitting around for the heck of it when I have friends would who be able to get use out of them ☺️

🥑 I declutter frequently. I think I have about 31 palettes currently, which is more than I will ever use, honestly; but I'm trying to build a balanced and diverse collection because my makeup changes with my moods (so, frequently lol). I try to only buy new palettes if its something really special that actually benefits my collection. Otherwise I like getting secondhand makeup online - it's cheaper, doesnt use new resources, and puts money in a real person's pocket. Plus then I dont feel bad if I end up decluttering it cuz I paid 1/2 or even 1/3 the price. But I'm trying to be much stricter about my purchasing habits. This was a very expensive year for me, and I think part of that was just retail therapy from all the chaos and stress. I have alotted myself one small shelf in my room for palettes, so if there is overflow I know I need to get rid of something. I get overwhelmed if I own too much stuff cuz then I feel guilty for not using it, and its more to have to clean around and organize. I'm not a RUclipsr, so I know I dont need a RUclipsr collection. I do plan on collecting every mini palette version of the Sigil Inspired Tammy Tanuka egg palettes, though - other than that, I refuse to "collect" things that expire lol.

With Kaleidos, tape the inserts to the back of the palettes. It fits perfect and you won't lose them.
