not a once phase but both shards of galanor and celestial nighthawk are top notch rn. Shards of galanor with the right build gives you your super in about 15-20 seconds and celestial nighthawk is doing more damage than pyrogale rn. With both be sure to run the radiant mods on the artifact for mazimum super outage especially with knife trick
You don't need Arc Loader, Acrius shoots so slowly it's base reload is fast enough. You need Arc Dexterity instead, because every melee you do to proc Trench Barrel stows Acrius and Dex will speed pulling it back out significantly.
I really appreciate that you included multiple loadout options. I don't have Acrius and haven't done lightfall to unlock strand on titan yet so having another choice I already know can one-phase is nice.
You can just one phase that guy if you had 3 Laments, weaken from revitalizing blast, and in my case phoenix cradle to keep everyone's health and abilities up

This sidearm is crazy with double special, running it with blast radius, lead from gold and adagio makes it feel like forerunner and I’ve completed under light master activities with it. Highly recommend trying it with double special if you get this roll and something like thunderlord on void Titan or izanagi rockets on solar.
I solo'd the boss, with the most un optimized loadout xd Celestial nighthawk and dragons breath, took 4-6 damage phases depending did I have enough ammo, lantern spawns etc. :D
A friend of mine already got a god roll on the strand bow, Slice and Hatchling, with some good column one and two perks, and a draw time masterwork, he got this for his first bow drop on our first run
I got an explosive head hatchling with a draw time masterwork. I wanted to like this bow a lot but it just felt like it was terrible. Granted it performed pretty well in most on level content but I tried it once in a GM and it flipped big time
Charged and uncharged melees are still a little iffy on my keyboard, so to avoid messing up, I usually have my wormgod buff fully charged by stabbing the absolute crap outta enemies with a glaive, because in the heat of the moment, I can sometimes press the wrong melee button. Definitely worth a try if you don't wanna mess up a damage phase by using your charged melee on accident
i bound uncharged to scroll up and charged to scroll down on my mouse wheel - have found it really helpful, as it's much more difficult to slip and hit the wrong key. didn't take me very long to relearn either
I'm not sure how viable it is for a 1 phase but it's worth noting that you don't NEED a tether hunter by any means. You can use the artifact mod (idk the name, game in maintenance, 4th column) to apply weaken on bosses when using your solar abilities. It's only a 15% weaken I believe BUT that's still more than nothing and might even be better than a Tether hunter if it means they can run Celestial Nighthawk Golden Gun instead for an instant ~800k damage
My fireteam is typically 2 Warlocks and a Hunter. One ran Witherhoard and the Falling Guillotine Sword and the other 2 ran Lament. One Well and one Tether and we were able to one phase with about 3 seconds left. Keep in mind the boss won't always drop 2 lamps, so if that doesn't happen to ya don't stress it.
First roll I got on Indebted Kindness was Beacon Rounds + Voltshot. Needless to say, having a sidearm that hits like a truck, fires aggressively tracking rounds, can chain lightning and has considerable reserves for ammo in PvE has made it a must have in my arsenal. Seriously, this paired with something like the buffed Revision Zero is fucking _bonkers._
@@jinks_hates_things This season. Does a fuck ton more damage against Champions with its sniper mode, and it’s base fire mode got the blanket buff to pulse rifles for PvE. Used it in The Coil and the new dungeon and it does wonders. Paired with the rocket sidearm and you’ve got all angles covered. Feels less clunky, too. Which is usually why I normally don’t like using Hakke weapons.
I had a lot of fun 2man farming it. Using winterbite wormgod melee and a lament stronghold user. 2-3phases. Might not be the best but its so much fun. Winterbite is really good for predicting your cage and getting you out as soon as you teleport.
As someone who farmed it for 10 hours and got maybe 3 sidearms total and my fireteams getting like 1 or 2 each, be warned lol. Feels like the droprate for the sidearm was lowered for the 1st boss. Doesn't just seem like bad rng coz 3 other groups I was with felt it too.
Last time i checked it didn't work like that :\ Im pretty sure someone like Hynra had video about it. It works for malf tho. Edit: Havent found Hynra about that one (had one against Oryx), but someone called Kimber Prime has one from last year
Updated dps loadout. Go Ghawk into knucklehead radar while popping. Then Fourth horseman and dodge then fourth horseman again. Then u go crux termination with slideshot surrounded. And easy 4 - 5 mill damage.
I always go for the lowest eye first, but sometimes I do a full 360 and one doesn’t seem to be there, and by the time it’s over I hit 2, can’t find the third and die. Great dungeon but finding the eyes can get obnoxious depending on their whereabouts. Especially when soloing.
I do appreciate the honest feedback on these weapons. It’s reassuring that I don’t have to put any more money into this game if the rewards aren’t, well, rewarding. I want Dragons Breath but I can just play until I get it in the pass. I mean, it’s not going anywhere for 7 months lol
Took two players through, carried dmg while teaching them for about three hours cuz it was really one person doing dmg but it felt really nice to finally help when I'm usually the one who doesn't know anything and needs to be carried 😂
Hot take. I think the sniper is pretty fun to use with precision instrument. I find its visual and audio design pleasing too.However i still dont understand the design of the weapons differing so greatly from the theme of the dungeon.
They're also dark age themed, the armour is what some dark age Guardians would wear. With all the weapons being recovered Golden Age stuff (the green icon is a Golden Age weapons company, which I think do a number of other things).
arc reloader isn't needed bc ac's reload speed is as fast as the delay between 2 shots if you reload right after you shoot, the reload is done right at the point where you can shoot again suprised you didn't know that
tractor with banner titan plus 2 solar hunters (nighthawk GG or SeS BB) with lament (dont forget the surges and lucients) is also a onephase (but requires near perfect execution e.g. don't stand too far away from the boss so you can sword after super immediately)
With cages I find it way easier to shoot my teams eyes, yea yea yea look for the lower one nah dude just look over at your buddy and you’ll usually see all 3 of theirs. Focus in everyone but yourself bc sometimes you just can’t find your eye.
I would do this however ive been having an issue with cp holding. Whenever i leave or change characters from inside the dungeon it crashes my game. Has anyone else been having this issue?
Me: It’s annoying that so many Destiny 2 activities are not friendly toward solo and non-hardcore players and those of us who don’t yet have good exotic rolls. I wish I could play some of this stuff with my more casual friends. Also Me: I wonder how far I could get solo with Celestial Nighthawk, Shards of Galanor, Sunbracers, Phoenix Protocol, Pyrogale Gauntlets, or perhaps even Stronghold and this season’s solar artifact mods. 😂

Shouldn't the heart of the flame count also for warlock? Afaik weapon dps in a well is counted as super damage, but only for caster. Still its free real estate. Side note: ember of combustion (solar super kills cause targets to ignite) also works for weapon kills in well (for caster), the weapon just needs to be solar. Enjoy :)

I'm using a Glaive cuz I'm on console and too lazy to separate non charge and charged melee. The Enigma has actually become part of my main Berserker build with either Tractor and Rufus or Wishkeeper and Thin Precipice along Abeyant Leap. Pretty fun and takes me back to when I was a ~1754 power Titan mainly with a glaive.
Dungeon weapon loot pools need to be 6 not 4. Why? Because seasonal and raid weapon loot pools are 6. It allows them to make a full set of weapons that more fully covers primary, special and heavy. Also since dungeon loot pool is random rolls then their perk pools need to be just as cracked as raid loot pools, other than world drops, dungeons are the only source of loot that is random rolls whereas everything else such as seasonal and raid weapons can be crafted
Same. I am literally running it just for the sidearm. Lol. I don't care for the rest. Interesting part is the sidearm drops from all encounters. Yet I keep getting arms.
You could probably swap the titan for a celestial Goldie & hit 1mil immediately. Just don't stand in the well for using Goldie. Heard it doesn't work right.
Please stop asking people to equip time dilation for short damage phases. Well of Radiance drops 3 orbs. Standard decay timer is 10 seconds per charge. Two-totem timer lasts less than 30 seconds. For extremely long damage phases, like the final boss of this very dungeon, I strongly recommend a time dilation or two. But, if you’re asking people to use well, it is extremely likely that they don’t need a time dilation.

The loot table for the first encounter is Bow, Sword, and Sidearm only. No Sniper. You can also obtain Arms, Helmet, and Leg armor pieces.

I’ve run synthos for 90% of my D3 time … wormgod is better rn, unless running 3 titans (as you note)

If it is a 1phase when you don't know how to reload an Acrius, then this should be easy and consistent if you know how to use it.
If your team has an exotic slot open u can run witherhoard to make the boss taken and then run taken spec on your apex predator :)

if you don’t have acrius like me, use a damage super and then use tractor and double lightweight shotguns. wastelands m5 and xenoclast IV works
i also found bequest with surrounded to be pretty good against this boss

One strat I recommend is 1 tractor, 2 lament, and a sunbracer. Pop sunbracer grenades BEFORE DPS, well, then tractor and Lament away

This dungeon is probably my favorite dungeon but I don't really care for the armor or most of the weapons. Literally just the exotic and the side arm
Same. I am literally running it just for the sidearm. Lol. I don't care for the rest. Interesting part is the sidearm drops from all encounters. Yet I keep getting arms.
You could probably swap the titan for a celestial Goldie & hit 1mil immediately. Just don't stand in the well for using Goldie. Heard it doesn't work right.

Please stop asking people to equip time dilation for short damage phases.
Well of Radiance drops 3 orbs.
Standard decay timer is 10 seconds per charge.
Two-totem timer lasts less than 30 seconds.
For extremely long damage phases, like the final boss of this very dungeon, I strongly recommend a time dilation or two. But, if you’re asking people to use well, it is extremely likely that they don’t need a time dilation.
