Very stylish, lovely British tradition of wearing
Why is there 5 minutes of nothing at the end of this video?
"Hunters make very good wellies"?!?! I think you mean Le Chameaus old boy! A far superior boot.
JHearnden this was made before hunter boots went to shit
Yeah, hunter really went down hill. Le Chameau all the way!
I think it's lovely...but down here in Texas in August we would die in that outfit...when we shoot it's boots jeans and t-shirt...but I do think the English have such style.. Bravo
Flip flops and shorts lol
One could argue that jeans are the worst thing to wear in the heat. Not saying that you have to wear breeches/plus fours, but the tweed they're made from is far more breatheable than the fabric used to make jeans.
To be fair I'm from the UK and I think he's dressed like a twat.
I'd love to dress like that here in the US... We don't keep it that formal tho...
It must look like a terribly scruffy affair…..
Oh well it’s the differences between us that make the world interesting
Speak for yourself.
@@alexanderoddy4916 scruffy?
@@Chernochegger English slang for poorly dressed, basically a total mess and without style or form . Think loose tie, untucked shirt, not ironing etc
@@alexanderoddy4916 You have to bear in mind that there are a lot more extremes of weather in the US.
If you dressed like the gentleman in this video for a shoot in the heat of an Arizona summer or the middle of a Wisconsin winter, you would be dead in a couple of hours.
Consequently, the American fashion has evolved to suit the various climates, in much the same way as cricket whites have given way to more modern sportswear.
Before you lament about this too much, bear in mind that traditional British shooting garb was once the pinnacle of modern sportswear.
It is traditional now, but it was cutting edge back when it was developed, chosen for practical and pragmatic reasons. Tweed was the modern high-tech 'technical fabric' of its time; it was chosen because it was hard-wearing, and kept you warm even if it got wet.
Just as most shooters now use over-and-under shotguns instead of side-by-sides, so too have they adopted the practical clothing of our time. There's nothing necessarily wrong with that, and it is unfair to describe them as 'scruffy'.
I sometimes wear tweed and a flat cap when shooting in spring and autumn here in Wisconsin. I sometimes use a side-by-side shotgun too. Do what you like - there's room in the world for everyone.
Slippers a red robe and a fully automatic 50 caliber truck mounted machine gun for deer season. Oh and a waist coat of course my good sir.
Manners maketh man!
Don't cross the streams.
SonOfFurzehatt that’s hilarious 😂
Ha!
With my team caps are fair game... Have you seen what a left & right of 4s does to a Newsboy...!
Slippers, pipe, top hat and monocle, nothing else😆
Well that’s just dandy
Plate carrier cargo pants night vision
I agree aside from the night vision, I rather have a night vision scope if anything but I usually don't waste money on that stuff. I prefer a 1-8x24 on an AR, 3-9 on a rifle or whatever. Nice little red dot for a pistol
If you turned up to a pheasant shoot in Great Britain wearing that you would be sent away in disgrace
Exactly .... Its an Animal ... not Combat....... I was in the USMC .. I like wearing Harris Tweed when hunting deer. Its a Deer .. Not combat or GI Joe play time lol
The animals dont shoot back mate!
Bushcraft in the garden do you guys not understand satire?? My goodness 🙃
Lets shoot we are well dressed
If I’m out shooting I’m either wearing something from Cabela’s or the surplus store
There a people wich need orientation....for several things
That's way over the top for the person who paid 500 for a day
Plenty of chucks pay far more to ride around shooting hogs with 50 cal.. and even out of a helo. 500 bucks ain’t much
This is one of the Funniest Videos I've seen since the Fast show ohhh Suits You Sir !
surely Questions have to be asked Sir .
Thou Sir is looking Radiant throughout this video whilst sitting down .
2.03 " Your host will probably give you your peg will have suitable footing and dry " I dont have a Scooby what this Geezer is on about is he talking in Tongues ?
2.53 " This is a typical outfit to wear in August and early September where its not quite as cold " Bit of an understatement " Sir its Fucking Baking where I live in August !
4.13 " nothing more embarrassing then your hat blowing off then the gun beside you "
Ohh sir ! i beg to differ , try taking my 84 yo Aunt Enid out to the shops who's been on the prune juice diet for 2 weeks , she can fart for England !
4.20 "the good thing about a flat cap like that it can stuffed in your pocket for Lunch"
Each to their own "Sir" as an alternative have you tried a Chicken Tower meal for under 6 quid ? 100% chicken breast Fillet burger, with a hashbrown, cheese and ketchup. Crunchy, filling and delicious. With regular fries and a drink.
Interesting to see some of these old ideas still exist, wearing a tie to go shooting is hilarious
Almost as hilarious as you dressing like the Deer shoot back or you are going to combat when really your just playing fantasy in the woods.. If we both go hunting and I get a kill with a TIE and you in a WALMAR TREE coverall .... who is the better hunter ?
I prefer military grade uniform and a tac vest.
Probably because you are gay
Try Hard Its a Deer ... Not a jungle monster . Its not combat ... and not GI Joe play time..... I think far to often WE Americans dress like the Deer shoot back its really stupid ...
Hahahaha Americans overreacting like always. It's just some bird or deer, you're not fighting the Taliban here. 😂
@@zoubeirfaouzi149 I'm joking. I'm sure as hell not gonn go outside dressed up like a 1940's gangster. Lol. Not shooting a Thompson SMG. I just dress mostly casually unless I'm actually hunting then I wear camouflage because you don't want to scare the deer or birds away.
@@GiuseppeSimonetti hahahaha lol, let's shoot some birds by order of the peaky blinders. 😂
Gay
I’m looking for a hunting suit, for war!
