I really wish/hope Apple will allow us to customize for a 5th icon in each row. And Apple also needs to allow for split-screen mode where we can use 2 apps simultaneously. There is no reason these features couldn't be implemented. Hoping for iOS 19. No more excuses Apple!

Hi Aaron, Question about the Facetime sharescreen, especially the draw-on and control features you demo (around 3:25 in this video). Do you know if this is not available globally? I've tried this to support my mother but it doesn't work (I also don't have the little icon on the bottom-right to request control). I'm trying this on iPhone 16Pro and iPhone 14 both on iOS18.2 in The Netherlands with both phones set to Dutch. BTW thx for your great videos!
Hey Aaron got confused when you mentioned the photos loop feature…I use a 15pro on 18.1.1 and don’t see that function…maybe you meant 18.2 but didn’t hear that…good share otherwise! 👍

This requires direct access and it will not allow you if it’s not in your contacts to share your screen. If it does allow you to share your screen, it will not allow them to take over control if they’ve been recently added it prevents things as you’re mentioning
Aaron, I use a iPhone 14 Pro Max using 18.1.1, this build is horrible, the messaging freezes you cannot do anything but shut down. The facebook app sticks and freezes up.
man that sucks. I use 14 PM with the 18.1.1 update and mine has no issues whatsoever. have you tried resetting it? The only freeze I experience is the Settings app. It sometimes freezes but I just remove it from the background then open it up again. Somewhat annoying but nothing serious like urs.
None of these features are useful. Until now i am having problem with iphone not receiving text message while on internet call. Is there a way to connect to several bluetooth speakers all at the same time? Is there a way to split screen? Is there a way to make local and nearby call during signal outage or in remote area? GPS is also slow to fix When will thermal infrared night camera be available?
Split screen is an android thing. Yes you can connect to multiple speakers at once as long as they are HomePod or Apple based. Yes you can use your phone and remote locations, but you’ve been able to do that for a long time with iPhone using satellite. No need for an infrared camera on an iPhone.

the 18.1 release has a big bug, when you swipe to delete items like outlook email it puts the item in the junk folder! Updated tp beta 18.2 and it stopped
To power down both iPad and iPhone you can use Siri to power down these devices. “Hey Siri power down iPad/iPhone.” Just say yes or cancel. I use this option all the time. Sadly there’s no shortcut to put a device into sleep/standbye.
In past years Apple released lots of iOS features we asked for for years, It was cool if you could keep track of them, but beside that, I think it's good time to ask us, your community and gather a list of what Apple users want, it's now more important than before as we are near to a perfect iOS (btw nothing is perfect).

The Photos app being “similar” to iOS 17 is a very large stretch in comparison. iOS 18 photo app is horrendous!
You can change it to be basically the same
