I5 9300h Gtx 1650 8gb ram 512 ssd Added a 2nd 500gb ssd for $45 Added 16gb ram for $65 Total = $630 This thing is a low key beast at 1080p with a few minor upgrades. If you can find a used one at the right price and add a few upgrades for a decent price it is well worth it.

I've been to sell my desktop PC with i3 9100 and GTX 1050 Ti with a portable gaming laptop, though the "budget" option that I've found is always the one with RTX 3000 s, tested on high settings. It's really tough to look for one that suits me. I've always believe that you don't have play everything on high or max to play games. Medium or low is already enough detail in modern games anyway.
My current laptop is a Dell, and I love it because it's my first one, but it can't run half of these games, even on extreme low, and is also almost 9 years old. My brother used it one year before me and he made the favor of (somehow) removing the sound and the battery, so I can ony use headphones and it won't turn on if is not plugged lol. It's a Windows 8.1, which is already getting obsolete. I'm going to college in a few months, so yeah, it's time to get a new one. I mean, I could probably use this one for a few more years, It's still working pretty good for how long it has survived, but at least once in my life I want something new and good, and I want to play the videogames and I only heard people talking about, like The Witcher 3 or GTA V. I wanted to go after another Dell, but this Nitro 5 has a better price and it looks like it delivers everything I coud ask.

After a lot of proof and error, I managed to keep it cool enough all games (depends what game) are between 60-80 degrees Mortal kombat 11 67-72° Rainbow six 72-77 The witcher 3 78-85 All I did was replaced the thermal paste for a better one but I also cleaned the pink one over the vram chips and put a good amount of normal paste instead Actually those temperatures are quite hotter than the beginning because now the air outcome are quite dirty because of the dust

I just bought this laptop for $450 from offer up in box still new from a guy in San Fernando with 16gb ram 17 inch display I give it a 7.8 out of 10 . Anything more and you might as well build a custom build PC.
It's about portability as well. I got my 3080 build at home playing 4k and got this laptop for when I travel for work. Play at decent fps/graphics without dropping tones of cash.

Undervolting (CPU), simply put, reduces the amount of power/voltage being directed to your CPU. The more power sent, the hotter it gets. The less power, the cooler it gets. Undervolting (GPU) is better than underclocking keeping in mind the performance because decreasing clock speed harms performance than decreasing voltage. If you can undervolting without underclocking you will save on energy and power without affecting performance. Also it will decrease a little bit of fps ;)

ı dont advice acer nitro 5 old case(before 2020) because it have 2 fans but they are together of one side and this cause laptop temperature will be too much and welcome the thermal throtting. :)
Go to Nitro sense then go-to power plan and click high performance after that go to edit power plan then click change advance power settings and click high performance ;)
Oh btw for anyone wondering PUBG PC everything low you get 150-200 fps (as you literally don’t need everything high as it gives you no advantage and looks the same except you loose fps) and I have nitro50-110 but AMD 5 3600 and gtx 1650 4gbs with 8 gbs of DDR4 ram

Yes, I still do own the laptop and the laptop is excellent for entry gaming but I moved on to a gaming PC for creating more videos and heavy gaming. I will be doing videos on the laptop here and there.

May I ask what are the settings for GTA 5 if you could make a video or tell me? I have set my settings and I have the exact same computer, but whenever I go into buildings with a lot of asset parts, the game starts glitching and my whole screen glitches out. Therefore, I have to restart the game. This happens on missions too. :(

i probably recommend upgrading the ram there to 16gb with dual channel so you can get better performance since laptop its self is pretty good but with extra ram it should manged better there from what i heard about this laptop

I believe it's "normal" for laptops to hit 90c, my fans were at full speed and yes I had a cooling pad.

Yes it does, If you have a higher refresh rate screen you can get more fps than 60 if your GPU can support higher refresh rate.

if I see that the processor rises to that temperature I think the processor burns, the Asus Tuf gaming a15 is colder reaching only 84 degrees
Over 95 degrees considered as over heat.acer nitro 5 can handle up to 105 degrees anyway.

I will never take Intel again in my life, in my laptop intel i5 10300h and it heats up to 95 degrees, that's fucked up
How exactly is your GPU not throttling after a crazy 83*C temp? AND that is SO not normal. I have same GPU and it throttles around at 77*C

How do you get your CPU to run at full speed at all times like that ? Mine only runs at ~ 2900ghz
Go to Nitro sense then go-to power plan and click high performance after that go to edit power plan then click change advance power settings and click high performance ;)

Oh btw for anyone wondering PUBG PC everything low you get 150-200 fps (as you literally don’t need everything high as it gives you no advantage and looks the same except you loose fps) and I have nitro50-110 but AMD 5 3600 and gtx 1650 4gbs with 8 gbs of DDR4 ram

Yes, I still do own the laptop and the laptop is excellent for entry gaming but I moved on to a gaming PC for creating more videos and heavy gaming. I will be doing videos on the laptop here and there.

I am not sure because you have an AMD CPU. But you can get good fps with gtx1650 ;)

I have same laptop. I'm getting 45+ fps I'm Red dead redemption 2 in medium settings. Then why you are getting 27fps.
I think my rdd2 setting were ultra + high settings maybe that's why ;)

May I ask what are the settings for GTA 5 if you could make a video or tell me? I have set my settings and I have the exact same computer, but whenever I go into buildings with a lot of asset parts, the game starts glitching and my whole screen glitches out. Therefore, I have to restart the game. This happens on missions too. :(

I think there might be something wrong with your laptop, in fortnite max settings while recording I get 70fps
i probably recommend upgrading the ram there to 16gb with dual channel so you can get better performance since laptop its self is pretty good but with extra ram it should manged better there from what i heard about this laptop

Wait please can you answer this, i bought a similar laptop but with better 10500H in it, but no way in hell Outer Worlds runs that smoothly in high settings. What's your secret ? Do you overclock it or something ? Im kinda new into this too so your answer will be most helpful
I overclocked the gpu through nvidia app and on nitrosense i set the power plan to high performance. Or you have 8gb ram.

If you have the same parts you will get the same fps but you might get different temperatures and yes screen recorder decreases about 2-5 fps ;)
