Have a 2010 VFR etc with a Don Guhl flash. Total blast to ride. Only complaint is very hard ride on rough surfaces. Next addition to my collection will be a ZX 14R. Thanks for the video.

My VFR also has a bit of a "whine" but is not noisy at all (I have the stock pipe), in fact it is quiet and that suits me very well. My son wants wants me to put another pipe on it to make it roar but it not going to happen lol.

Mine quiet once moving having listened to the footage of the Busa the VFR doesn't sound much louder. Thanks for your comment

Made 09 to 17 , killed off by new emmisions regs I believe. Clutch is heavy, did you mean v4s at 2.17.
Wouldn't say noisy?? It's a lot of engine there, sounds lovely to me, ie induction roar etc (ear plugs in) and near silent when cruising. (compared to inline 4s).
    Just my thoughts.

Clutch is not that hard on mine, at least compared to some of the most similar bikes I know, such as K1300. Gears are sweet, except some problems inserting the first gear from neutral sometimes. Perfect machine!

I agree with your comments, mine is exactly the same. I rode a triumph thruxton a while ago for an hour and it broke my clutch hand. The clutch is much heavier than the Vfr, which I would say is about average for an engine of that capacity.

Funny as the Triumph Bonneville T120 clutch is the lightest I have ever known! I wonder if fitting an Oberon slave cylinder (like we do on Ducati's) might help?

It was only a few thoughts wasn't it....
Mine is a bit whiney in the low gears, the radiator fan kicks in frequently.
Mine weirdly feels different on the ride home from work compared to the morning. The engine brake seems more noticeable. It's a lot less smooth than in the morning. Anyone else get that?

60 seconds of this video made want to find a high cliff or tall building to end the misery of it. Thank goodness for skipping forward. Heavy clutches are seen a lot in high torque engines, i.e. V-Twins and V-Fours.

This will sound mean and I’m sorry up front. So, I was walking as I was listening to this. By the time it was over I learned what your bike sounds like at idle and that the VFR is more comfy than the Busa. Not exactly earth shattering info. :-) Need a little meat with that salad, man.
