Plus the divorce courts are to slanted in the woman's favor. Until these things change, marriage rates will continue to decline......and that's what the Leftists wanted all along. I'm a 26 year old millennial. I was in middle school (7th grade) in about 2004, just a couple years after 9/11. I remember in my history class, we studied Islam for almost 4 months straight. I couldn't understand why we spent so much time on that one religion. The school actually invited a couple of Muslim women, dressed in full body covers and hijabs, to come speak to the students about the religion of Islam and how peaceful it is. I kid you not. Even at 12 years old I was skeptical the entire time. It was real liberal indoctrination trying to entice a bunch of 12 year olds to become curious about a religion that conveniently had just murdered 3,000 people several years prior. When I look back on that "history lesson" I am disgusted. This happened at Sutter Middle School in Sacramento, CA.

I feel your pain. Check this out. I went to middle school (it was called junior high) in 1973 in Austin TX. My school was under order to have forced bussing of kids from the East side (poor communities, blacks & Hispanics) even though my middle class neighborhood was already naturally integrated. This was part of the reason that all the 7th grade girls were rounded up into the cafeteria for "sex education" by Planned Parenthood feminists. I remember exactly those 70's maxi skirts they were wearing. After the cheesy films on std's (called VD back then) we got the BIG SPEECH on the REAL reason why they were there. Remember that in general it was a much more innocent time. I was inexperienced with boys as were all of my friends. My most scandalous fantasy was my crush looking my way! Nothing past that, not even holding hands. Sooooo....when those liberal wackos started in on how easy it would be for us to get abortions it totally freaked me out! There were zero pregnant girls in middle school and just the odd one here & there in high school. They would just disappear for awhile then return amidst whispering about how immoral she was. My point is it blew my mind. My friends and I started having discussions about "should we be doing it already? " "is something wrong with us if we aren't?" " Do you know anyone who has? ". This was when that ridiculous Roe vs Wade arose and most people don't even realize the scandals behind the careerest attorneys pushing it just to make a name for themselves, manipulating witnesses, etc. It never should have happened. It was never about achieving any fairness for women. But I digress.it all started way back. Lots of those girls are moms now propagandizing their modern day Millennial daughters.

Millennials went through a public education system that amounts to little more than daycare then were thrown into the deep end of a recession. Most of us had our first experience with capitalism at a time when the economy was on life support and deception and exploitation was what kept a business afloat. Now we work temporary jobs doing whatever we can get because the cost of living is high and most of us have no savings and no hope of ever having any. As we are constantly reminded, life milestones like owning a house, having a career, or supporting a family are distant dreams for us. It's not a surprise that millennials are anxious and depressed, and there is more to it than a simple lack of discipline. Most of us are trying to save up just to afford boots, and the straps are sold separately.

You don't need to be a veteran to get it, nor do you need to be abused. In fact, the person with the highest degree of PTSD to have been studied was a young American woman who was in a minor car accident where no one was injured. anni dee well put. My wife was from LA when I met her. She was on these psychotropic drugs, full of anxiety and sadness. She had a good heart, but the culture was so toxic that it was buried under the vanity and apathy common there. It took years and lots of hard work for her to find true happiness, and my opinion was that it got better when she moved out here to the country.

I feel like millennials (I’ve been guilty of this myself as I look back) find some sense of relief or vindication when they can claim to be a part of a group that’s been “victimized” because, in all honesty, most of us don’t have a clue what it’s like to suffer through the struggles of the past. We came up in the days of excess in the 80s and 90s.
Having said that, Michael was born the same year as myself..but we definitely are millennials and guilty of many of these things. Having said that... I think he’s more or less referring to younger millennials (born in mid-nineties) and gen z. Idk. Or he’s just referring to the children of liberals haha. Either way, my brother was born in ‘94 and sometimes I feel like I’m ancient when he and I talk about our worldview. The lack of awareness outside the self, the lack of masculinity, the entitlement..agh

Last comment because this video is so good. It really is the case that millennials do not read literature. The vast majority of humanities professors I have had will condense an entire book (from their unquestionable analysis) into a powerpoint, which would then be the content of one lecture! I actually went all of highschool without reading a book. It wasn't until my first year of college when I read Matthew Crawford's "The World Beyond Your Head" (perhaps the first author to predict the situation facing millenials now) that I had the eye-opening moment you're talking about. If it weren't for that book alone I would still be wandering around aimlessly. That was the one and only book I've read in a humanities class. The rest have been powerpoints of mostly Foucault and Derida.

I agree that the "youth" feels lost but I disagree on one thing:
Millenials have been to much of a scapegoat.
1* The consensus is that one is a millennial if born between 1977 and 1994; This means, anyone younger than 24 (in 2018) or older than 41 (in 2018) is not a millenial.
2* Most people enter college with 18 years of old and conclude it with 21 or 22.
3* A lot of college and school faculty members (teachers, professors, managers, ETC) have been born before 1977.
4* From this data, I can conclude that it is not accurate to point the finger (almost exclusively) at millenials when most of them have graduated already and those who are still in college, are seniors concluding their last year of their bachelor/master.
It is evident that most college students and faculty members today aren't millennials.
Edit: Some sources state that millenials range from 1981 to 1996 but my comments still apply in any case.

Short answer; they are taught to be entitled and expect everything from everyone, take what the things they like and have for granted, and to never be truly happy. The goals they seek stay far out of reach at all times, are unrealistic or nonproductive, while producing problems and turmoil whenever they seek to achieve them. As a bonus, honor and truth has lost nearly all value, so don't expect millennials to go through their lives in a way that benefits anyone but themselves a majority of the time.

You think Millennials are "liberals", do you? Okay.
Many comments here claim that Gen Z begins in 1995 (they are wrong, Gen Z begins in 1993). But let's assume that 1995 is correct. This means that presently, the youngest Millennials are TWO YEARS REMOVED FROM COLLEGE.
Which would mean that the Safe Spaces CURRENTLY on college campuses … are GEN Z.
Which means that Steven Crowder's Change My Mind videos … are GEN Z …
Which means that these talks in front of college campuses … are GEN Z.
WHAT is fucking "conservative" about Gen Z and "liberal" about Millennials?!?!?!
You mention "free college". In 2016, if we are to accept the 1995 standard, the YOUNGEST Millennials were seniors in college.
Bernie's base was 18-23 years old, and he campaigned almost exclusively on "free college".
HOW IN THE FUCK would "free college" benefit a generation THAT HAD ALREADY FUCKING GRADUATED?!?!?

Well, not only did youth not show up to vote in 2018 … THEY DIDN'T VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS, DID THEY???
Millennials are CONSERVATIVES. We are burying our Boomer parents at an alarming rate, because Obama"Care" is MURDERING THEM. We know that the Boomer platform and the democrats agenda is the SAME; to LEECH off the young, working poor! WE HATE democrats, but we are not voting for the Republicans who supposedly share our values in letting us KEEP OUR FUCKING MONEY!!!
Why aren't we voting? Because you will not allow us a voice, and an opportunity to speak! ONLY TUCKER CARLSON is addressing this! You don't propose solutions to fix extreme rent, or the lack of housing development. You don't seem to want to address the problems feminism has had on marriage; instead, you want to bash men and tell them to ACT LIKE WOMEN by "manning up" and "pursuing".

Why not WELCOME US into the fucking fold?!?! There is ZERO attempt to even acknowledge that conservatives exist among Millennials, and absolutely ZERO outreach to show the FEW Millennials on the left that they actually SUPPORT capitalism. NAME ONE Millennial that likes taxes robbed from their paycheck, and agrees with the UNPAID INTERNSHIP!!!

Short answer: They were taught zero valuable life skills by their inept, dumb parents who crashed the economy and replaced any semblance of an American culture and identity with meaningless hedonism, forced diversity and crony capitalism. They were told to get college degrees lest they work at McDonalds the rest of their life only to find themselves working at McDonalds regardless, only with tens of thousands of dollars of student loan debt permanently hanging over their heads.

Well no one really has an answer for that because everyone's circumstance is different. "millenials" aren't miserable, PEOPLE are miserable.
I'm a millenial that grew up with 7 other siblings. My father left my mother leaving me and my brothers and sisters to suffer financially. Financially my families income was below the poverty line. I'm 23 now and I work 40 hours a week to support what's left of my family(two of my brothers and mother). I have no college degree and I'm not lazy in the slightest.
We live in a new era that the baby boomers just don't understand. Millenials have a variety of problems that need to be solved and it's gonna take time to figure things out.

    • @LissaBroyles
      @LissaBroyles 5 лет назад +2

Bullshit. Despite your anecdote no generation has ever had less
obstacles or less to worry about. & that generates a particular combination of weakness & agression that will destroy the future.
People are biologically programmed to overcome survival adversity (food, water, shelter, avoiding disease, fighting other tribes, dodging bears & shit). Western civilization has largely removed all that adversity from the human condition in a short time. Yet the instincts remain, &
with no existential adversity left it turns out people will create crisis to overcome in their own minds because the human mind can't handle utopia....which is basically what life in western civilization has been for a few generations now.
The destruction of utopian societies from within has been replicated time & again in scientific experiments using animals. It always ends the same. The 5th-8th generation animal living without survival level adversity (utopia) always goes nuts & destroys the society.

    • @LissaBroyles
      @LissaBroyles 5 лет назад

@@GreenGearMood I'm the moron when you think technology doesn't change anything???? Not only does it change litterally everything, including everything you just said it doesn't, but it changes things so fast that it becomes impossible to know the long term impact it will have on humanity.
Example. Access to porn. Anybody with any modern device at any time can watch porn. The timing of that technology is directly correlated with a massive drop in young people having sex & plummeting birthrates in the west. It's way easier to jack off to a billion hours of porn than go out & try to meet/impress somebody to potentially have sex with like everyone before had to. Not good.
Example 2. Antibiotics. Still to this day handed out like Halloween candy despite the fact we're now learning that every time you take an Antibiotic it diminishes the effectiveness it has if you ever need it again, & the germs they're designed to kill are adapting faster than we can make new antibiotics to kill them. The likelihood of a pandemic that kills millions caused by a new superbug that wouldnt exist without our overuse of Antibiotics is almost a certainty.

points to Americans having smart phones as reason they should shut up, and we have it so great. Well I missed the millennials smart phone hand out day evidently. And how many of those smart phones were in fact just given to them? Say we are so great materially yet wages have been loosing ground to inflation. Berates millennials for not getting out and paying their own rent, yet he'll happily allow foreign companies and Chinese billionaires of ill gotten often stolen wealth to buy up all said housing property and charge exorbitant rents that millennials have little other choice to pay when a billionaire buys all of it. Like I said all while making less dollar for dollar then prior generations. Oh and lets not forget about all the high paying jobs, free market idiots like him and Ben Shapiro destroyed in America by undercutting the workers and loosening all there protection so the rich could make a few extra billion bucks. And millennial's now are having less sex or access to sex then prior generations due to a variety of factors. Frankly knowing all the problems going on I'm surprised there aren't large scale riots and strikes, but then again these people gloss over a lot of those facts. I don't support the left at all but screw this crony capitalist, he sounds like he knows what he's talking about the the lay person but he has very little depth or substance or worse he knows and is just omitting all the facts that destroy his own message. And this guy has no clue to the break down of gender relations. Well lets see he refuses to acknowledge that millenials are making less money then prior generations, so he also would ignore the effect this has on people's sex lives. And if you think I'm being crass or rude about it honestly ask yourself how many women will date a guy that is average looking and poor? Fact is they don't much any more they would rather play the tinder game and have a one night stand with a 10/10 hot guy that would never settle for her, yet says all the right things to get into her pants, but she would never think to give the regular guy a chance or even if she does she's been with so many hotter guys that just stood her up or used her for sex, he's now uninspiring. And will only settle for the regular or average guy when time is running out and none of the hotter guys she dates will stick a ring on it. And how well will that marriage go? two people that only got together out of mutual desperation and harbor mutual resentment of each other. And this moron when pressed on the issue will just say it's their fault they just need to man up! They get paid crap, their fault, have to go to college to get a certification for every job that still doesn't pay much, their fault, exorbitant debt for getting said degree? their fault. Cant afford health care, their fault, Cant afford housing, their fault. This idiot is just saying to man up while sneakily stabbing them in the back and supporting many of the reasons that cause them to fail. Millennials aren't failing in a vacuum, they were screwed before they were born. Sure it's not as extreme as others had problems but the problems are still there and are big.
