    Awesome! I used adhesive auto Vinyl in matt black (ebay) instead of painting it was really easy and now looks like its brand new. I highly recommend adhesive vinyl over painting, it matches the trim on the wheel buttons better, required no sandpapering, and hopefully will never need to be re-done (fingers crossed!) Thanks so much for this video!

    Would it make the removal easier if you start on the clips at the back first, then move to the torx screws

    Did you use primer at all, and what grit of sandpaper did you use?

    Good job, thank you for this video, but the result looks like awkward,I think a matte black or a vinyl spray will look like the original one

      You are correct. I feel i kind of rushed on that. More matte spray would have been better

    Do you need a magnetic t20??? Because I did it with a regular t20 and they are unscrewed but won’t come out of the whole??

    • @DragoslavGrbovic
      @DragoslavGrbovic  6 лет назад

      I did not have a magnetic tip. It simply takes a long time to unscrew. It does appear that it never ends but then they do come out :).

    Its so ridiculous that a car like the m3 (especially this one) would have this issue. You would think that spending quite a bit of money on a car like this, you would not have this problem.

    • @DragoslavGrbovic
      @DragoslavGrbovic  4 года назад

      I did not unplug the battery and you work around the airbag while it remains attached.

      Peter Turley no need to disconnect the battery at all. Simply don't turn the car on.

    Does the "M" trim fit on the regular steering wheel?

    • @DeanieBN54
      @DeanieBN54 Год назад

      No it does not. Youd have to get a matching steering wheel or buy the matching trim for a regular wheel that has some sort of “M” on it

    What sand paper do you use????

    • @DragoslavGrbovic
      @DragoslavGrbovic  7 лет назад

      Start with ultra fine grit (over 2000) and then work your way down depending on how much you want to remove. I would definitely not go below 1000 as it will leave marks.

    • @DragoslavGrbovic

      Thanks. My concern with airbag removal was the need to disconnect the battery which would reset all your settings etc so the time you save there you would need to make up in doing the extra steps.

    • @seb4298

      Right enough but it can be done without disconecting battery as long ignition is off Most important job done and helpful 👍
