    This tutorial is absolutely amazing!!! This has been one of the only circuits for a vu meter that actually really works from “RUclips”. Your description is spot on and I also like the bg music. I would love to see more of your projects, I am confident that your projects work. I have made some really cool handheld vu meters from this tutorial. Thank you so much.🙏🙏🙏 James.

      Basically every people with electronic skill can draw it himself the circuit schematic.

      LM3914 or LM3915 or LM3916, choose one of those.

    Joss bro, saya sudah mncoba dan bekerja dgn baik.. tapi bagaimana caranya menyambung ke amplifier, maksudnya tanpa mic.. saya coba copot mic dan menyambung ke out tone control tapi sepertinya tidak bisa

      Caranya keluarkan Mic dan R 10k yg terhubung ke mic itu. jadi ntar inputnya di ujung kapasitor milar 100nF tsb.

    Muito legal esses VU Meter. Pra que servem o Capacitor e o Diodo? Estou perguntando pq já vi outros VUs desse e não são usados esses dois componentes. Obg

      Diodo para rectifier o sinal de áudio.
      Capacitor no potenciômetro para reduzir a velocidade de movimento da chama do LED, quanto maior o valor, mais lento de movimento.

      @@Dancopymus Meu amigo, muitas pessoas querem fazer este circuito, mas algumas delas ainda não têm conhecimentos de eletrônica então fiz um vídeo como este para que eles também pudessem fazer.

      My video I design for all peoples even without electronic skills yet (see my channel "about"). In fact circuit diagram is not more an important than the circuit itself, circuit diagram it just needed for them that who with electronic skills. Instead, who have electronic skills can draw circuit diagram himself.

      Ya, 104j itu = 100 nF = 0.1uF.

    I made it but with a 330.000 ohm resistor instead of a 650.000 ohm resistor. Does this make a differens?
    Because my sircuit doesn't work🙁 and i dont know what i did wrong.

      Start from scratch, make sure you don't use different components (fake components) and make sure you don't make a mistake.

      Itu berbeda jenis, C1815 jenis NPN, kalau A1015 jenis PNP.

      Tak ada transistor 2N222, yang ada 2N2222 yang bisa di gunakan sebagai pengganti C1815, tetapi posisi kaki-kakinya berbeda, kalau C1815 ECB, kalau 2N2222 yg original CBE

      Bisa bro, sisa tinggal keluarkan mic dan resistor 10k, lalu hubungkan dengan amplifier.

      Untuk rangkaian ini bisa pakai potensiometer 10k sampai 1M (Maga ohm).
