I have owned 3 e46 now on my third and I have to say I absolutely love this chassis it’s so affordable and straight forward to work on the looks and after market parts just keeps me wanting another one haha might get an e36 next tho
Thanks for that advice champ. I have a e46 325ci also with only 80k km and I wonder if it’s running at its full potential. We’ll have to see who can dyno it. Cheers
Not necessary. Most tuners prefer to tune on MS43 than the latest version, MS45.1 (most would probably straight up refuse to tune MS45). Rather than switching to MS45, you may as well get tuned on your current version to increase your power, since afaik the only upgrades MS45 came with were essentially emissions-limiting, and some extra capabilities for more aggressive cams
@@Sixty4motorsport , I believe that the DME has the engine maps loaded as from factory (2003) and that later improved maps have been made, these can be uploaded to the MS54 DME... I will try and find the RUclips on it and send you the link..,
I have an poor idle and a vaccum leak sound when i do some revs. I think its a issue on the idle control valve or the intake manifold cover gasket or both at the same time... Mine is 323i '99 Greetings from France
Appreciate the feedback. As a new creator, I am trying different editing styles to find what works. I get what you're saying and I'll try something different in the next one. Let me know what you think. 👍
Keep the videos coming on your E46 please.

I have heard that one should have the engine computer (DME) updated to the latest tune ... what do you know about that Michael?
Not heard that one, interesting concept but I would ask why? 🤔

Great videos as always. Going for an engine swap on my BMW E46 TOURING from a M43b18 to a M54b25.

Love the content of your videos but find the continuous (presumably edited) jumping quite distracting.
