    00:00 INTRO:
Generally, surface water works its way down to an average depth of around 2,000 meters (6,600 ft.) where it contacts hot rocks. The resultant boiling of the pressurized water results in the geyser effect of hot water and steam spraying out of the geyser's surface vent (a hydrothermal explosion).

    00:57 CASTLE GEYSER, YELLOWSTONE:
Castle Geyser is a cone geyser in the Upper Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park. It is noted for the particularly large geyserite sinter deposits, which form its cone. These deposits have been likened in appearance to a castle.
The Castle Geyser has a 10- to 12-hour eruption cycle. The geyser erupts hot water for about 20 minutes in a vertical column that reaches a height of 90 ft. (27 m) before changing to a noisy steam phase that issues for 30 to 40 minutes.

    02:17 EL TATIO GEYSER, CHILE
El Tatio is a geyser field located within the Andes Mountains of northern Chile, at 4,320 meters above mean sea level. Its name comes from the Quechua word for oven. It is among the highest-elevation geyser fields in the world. El Tatio has over 80 active geysers, making it the largest geyser field in the southern hemisphere and the third largest in the world. Its geysers erupt to an average height of about 75 centimeters, with the highest eruption observed being around 6 meters.

    03:29 THE GREAT GEYSIR, ICELAND
The Great Geysir, is a geyser in southwestern Iceland. It was the first geyser described in a printed source and the first known to modern Europeans. Eruptions at Great Geysir can hurl boiling water up to 70 meters in the air. However, eruptions may be infrequent, and have in the past stopped altogether for years at a time.

    05:07 WAIMANGU GEYSER, NEW ZEALAND
The Waimangu Geyser, located near Rotorua in New Zealand, was the most powerful geyser in the world. Its workings were apparently created by the great 1886 Mount Tarawera eruption, which opened a 17 kilometres (11 mi) long fissure down the mountain, through Lake Rotomahana and the Waimangu Volcanic Rift Valley.
The geyser was first seen erupting in late 1900. Its eruptions were observed reaching up to 1,500 feet (460 m) in height, and it excited worldwide interest.

    06:31 VALLEY OF GEYSERS, KAMCHATKA
The Valley of Geysers is a geyser field on Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia, and has the second largest concentration of geysers in the world. This 6 km (3.7 mi) long basin with approximately ninety geysers and many hot springs is situated on the Kamchatka Peninsula, in the Russian Far East, predominantly on the left bank of the ever-deepening Geysernaya River, into which geothermal waters flow from a relatively young stratovolcano, Kikhpinych. Temperatures have been found to be 250 °C, 500 m below the caldera ground.

Very nice video including footage of El Tatio and photos of Waimangu I hadn't seen before. I wondered if the geyser at 7:45 might be Grotto Jubilee rather than the one listed? One small problem---most if not all of the footage for Geysir actually seems to be nearby Strokkur?
