They are really beautiful birds .. with their big eyes .. my neighbourhood ones who I feed every day are bringing me presents now .. a dinner knife??? and a beautiful blue marble just appeared out of nowhere? 😂 They are amazing!!❤❤❤❤
I'm not a scientist or biologist but I have spent significant time observing ravens and I swear they are intelligent and can clearly communicate with each other
@richardarmed4847 It's complicated to understand and explain, their cognition is parallel to ours, but it's application is to their world, not ours, & their brain structures involved are different than ours..different "hardware" (sections & structures) operating the "software".. They are AWSOME! I love my crows for how they can read situations & conceptualize ..plan, value, strategize..absorb & process information..then be ahead of outcome!
Some folks just don't understand nature, I grew up on a small farm like a hundred years ago, my mother was the one everyone brought wounded or abandoned woodland creatures too, we hand raised so many baby robins we ended up with a robin community that saw me as their momma, daddy and grampa, they would all nest near the back door of the house but every year when it start getting cold and the others headed south1 or 2 would opt for flying in the house one day and make it clear they didn't want the summer to end : ) they were always free to leave but wouldn't until spring and we used to hear it from people we knew, Why you want a keep that poor bird in a house all winter?? That's mean!, lol, all I can say is if nature doesn't love you you'll never experience a robin on your shoulder while eating breakfast, a racoon using a cat box then come back to cover up under your feet where it's warm and a squirrel curled up under your chin at the same time for the same reason : )
@@johneven2896 This is so beautiful I love this. It's funny too cause ya'll didn't choose that, one or two robins chose to do that, that's so wholesome. Do you still see these same robins every year?
@@LinkaBellGAME No I left the farm in my late teens but about 10 years ago some blue jays tore up some robin nests and I ended up with a baby near fledging finding me working under my truck, I finished raising her up and she left for the winter but I was truly amazed when she showed up in the summer to show me her babies. Still as an old guy I always seem to have some sort of unwanted, untameable, untreatable or just downright horrible creature sleeping under my chin lol.
I went into this pet shop and heard a bunch of kittens meowing so I went to go look at all the cute little kitties but there was no kitties. There was only a raven who was mimicking the meows of many kittens. 🐈🐈🐈🐈
His locks aren't as much fun - it's the thrill of the steal that makes them extra special! I noticed in previous videos where he stole locks or sponges, he really enjoyed being chased for them 😅
Right they’re just like semi- sophisticated toddlers with feathers. Never chase, reverse psychology works better. They can sense what you desire and are really good at keep away. 😉
I love Ravens so much ❤ have lived in the Yukon my whole life around them and they’re amazing creatures! Been spending my life making friends with them!
Ravens are amazing birds and handsome. Beautiful rainbow black feathers. It’s no wonder the Native Americans of the area thought of them as a special animal depicted in many carvings, fetishes, and weaving. Beautiful art and craftsmanship. 🪶🐦⬛🐦⬛🌷🌱
One of the main reasons. I like to watch RUclips besides that. You named him Loki and I love Loki. Is that the bond between you is beautiful? I can feel and see the energy. And it's lovely he's a happy, happy boy. I watch the came out of his shell with you. And I enjoy the love that you 2 have. Thank you for understanding animals and being a steward like we're supposed to be❤
Hello, just want to say Merry Christmas to Loki and his family. Also wondered what his different sounds mean. He's crazy vocal! What an amazing bird. Also, sorry full of questions, but will Loki ever have a mate? You know a Mrs. Loki, a Loca I suppose 😂 Take care and thank you for your posts.
So ravens as you can see are quite expressive and they do this through body language and vocalisations. Lokis Gwah and Parp-Parp are sounds that indicate he’s in a playful mood. Sometimes he will do wild raven type calls when he sees one or rogue corvids in his airspace
Jamie: You stole that lock, Lolo! Loki: Ha! All locks are mine! But I guess if you’re going to give me treats… Merry Christmas to you and Loki and all his friends - and everyone here, too! 🎄✨🎁❤️☮️
Gosh. People always giving their unsolicited judgemental opinions are only karen and kevin trolls. What matters is if the animals are happy and healthy which is evident in this case. God bless you for being such a great dad to this corvid.😊
Came for the parp parp, stayed for the Aeghh aeghhhs
He is so happy. I love it. What a treat to spend rainy Sunday time with Loki.
They are really beautiful birds .. with their big eyes .. my neighbourhood ones who I feed every day are bringing me presents now .. a dinner knife??? and a beautiful blue marble just appeared out of nowhere? 😂 They are amazing!!❤❤❤❤
Awesome. A knife and a marble? Mine bring me rocks. Sometimes they arrange them, which is weird but fun.

Wouah ! These are real gifts ! ❤️

Crows even more in complex environments..
They actually have the intelligence of a seven year old child.

Yes they are, every morning when I'm outside my work place, they recognise me as I have been giving them treats,
The Good Boy is a dealmaker who outsmarted you in not giving back the lock for nothing. 😹
"gWauugghhh clek cleck cleck" is a solid answer for many things (as is "Ba ba ba ba baw")
It's funny when people say he's "jailed up" 😆people clearly don't know he exercises his bird often and he returns.

@johneven2896 your mum must have been a lovely gem of a person,
I went into this pet shop and heard a bunch of kittens meowing so I went to go look at all the cute little kitties but there was no kitties. There was only a raven who was mimicking the meows of many kittens. 🐈🐈🐈🐈

He doesn't need a mate, same for if it was a female, goddamn why do you think all these things need to have that goddamn

He's just beautiful! And I see nothiing whatsoever wrong with an animal, wild or not, choosing to stay with the humans he loves.
Ravens and Crows are the best thieves. 😂
More, More, More of you dynamic duo!!!
A friend for life.
Has Loki made out his Christmas list to Santa? (Odin, really) 🎅

Thank you Jesus for letting us borrow all of your wonderful critters especially in these ever increasingly evil and difficult times
He loves you.
Ravens are known for being smart and problem solvers.
Gosh. People always giving their unsolicited judgemental opinions are only karen and kevin trolls. What matters is if the animals are happy and healthy which is evident in this case.
God bless you for being such a great dad to this corvid.😊
Nice one! Feathered friend.
I want to fly like Lolos!

That's an impressive beak
