It's definitely hard to give up more money and flexibility. I graduated in 2022 and I'm about to start my 1st job as a FNP. I am a perioperative RN clinical supervisor and all of my background have been acute care. I've recently been blessed to land a Job in the hospital where I work because I didn't move on my time I waited on God. I prayed for God to place me in a position where HE wanted me to be. Everyone looked at me crazy when I didn't run to primary or urgent care setting once I graduated and passed boards. It is a huge change to go to an outpatient. When you're ready try networking within the hospital because im learning that most good NP positions are based on "who you know." Great content!

The concert was amazing. Michele, I appreciate that you share about God on your channel. It is what I enjoy the most about you. You are just so authentic. Most Christian RUclipsrs, just focus on beauty, fashion, and just daily living. Sometimes it's hard to realize they're Christian. It's always about vanity....I was surprised to see that Michaela Bradshaw from Survivor, and MTV Challenge watches you! Keep up the good work Michele!
You also have to consider your additional credentialing time when starting as an NP that can take 3-6 months after you are hired as an NP. Take your time until you’re comfortable. Great practice. ❤

I just took a staff position and I know I’m gonna be crying. Travel nurse has spoiled me, but I feel like god is telling me to be still for awhile
Take your time but also consider some employers won’t hire you if you have a big gap in employment as a NP. Start interviewing. You never know what’s out there. Some NP jobs are very flexible and you choose your own schedule. But definitely go at your own pace. Congrats and I love love love your hair

Do you follow ebony the np because she share locum np world and she’s stated several times that you can do locum as a new grad where they are willing to train you and still have that flexibility. Also keep the higher paying salary
