My brothers are singers and have their own band and have had that band since they were 16 and 17 years old and are now 63 and 64. It blows my mind that my brothers sing better now than when they were supposed to be in their prime. One of my brothers (who is the lead singer) lost part of his lung due to a weird accident in a softball game. He kept getting pneumonia and different lung problems. He quit smoking and actually got sicker for awhile, but then his voice came back more insanely beautiful than it was before. I think this new generation of kids need to know of love songs, rock ballads, and just fun songs without having murder, rape, or gang life in them. The other thing about my brother that sings most leads is that before he goes out to sing in concert; he literally yells really loud. I am sure if he wasn't in a closed space people would think he was being killed, ha, ha! We also have a cousin in their band and the harmonies between these three is heavenly. The same band members from when my brothers were 18 and 19 years old (age they could be to play at most of their gigs) and my cousin was 15! (I laugh because he could play drums and sing backup, but couldn't go near the bar!) That same cousin now has his own brand of drum sticks and drum parts. I believe they are making it back big, which Mili has had his whole life, because people need that kind of rock ballad and beautiful singing to cheer them up.Love Steelheart and the way they are bringing people joy and cheer! I know I would rather hear a good song over any song about murder, etc.
