2020 The year I started fishing as a two time retiree! That was 20 years US Air Force and 21 years Law Enforcement. Now I get to fish almost every day and watch your videos as soon as you upload them. Win Win for me!
It sounds like it is well deserved! Get a peddle drive it is amazing exercise at the same time (so you can say "I exercise every day!"). Good luck. You should check out "Old Lady Angler," she is also former US Air Force and retired!
Thanks for your lifetime of service, Art. You're a true patriot and an example to aspire to for all of us. Congrats on starting your fishing career in earnest :)
@@brianmcquinn5897 One step ahead of you. I have a Jackson Big Rig with the Flex Drive. I love the hands free for fishing. I even installed my own electric trolling motor to use on those long hauls back to the docks against the tides and wind!
My husband and I watch your videos all the time. We learn so much from you. We take that and use it on our own trips in the kayak, which he got us for our 35th wedding anniversary. ♡ We both agree you are our favorite. Your skills are impressive... that's a given, but your humbleness is what really made you are favorite. You show your champion moments as well as the ones you'd rather forget. It keeps it real . BTW, the "Canal Cruiiser " looks just like Bllly the Bass, that singing fish from the 90's. LOL
You are such an inspiration to me. You have gotten me hooked on kayak fishing. I used to kayak fish casually out of my $200 Walmart kayak, which was fine, but it limited me. Since watching your videos I have saved and bought a legit fishing kayak and am now hooked up with our local kayak tournament club. Thank you for all you do for this sport and keep up the awesome work!!!
In my 2nd year in a kayak - as a 63 year old in very good shape - your channel has been a great resource for me! And the tourneys are a bonus....Keep it up, Greg.
Retired and fishing 4 days a week from my kayak...Don Pedro and Melones! Watching G.B. on the days that I don't fish! Thanks for the content and the effort to create a quality product!
This has been my first year kayak fishing, and your vids have been a constant for me on RUclips. With the whole Pandemic, fishing has been a big outlet for me from April into October
Ever since I found your channel, you’ve helped me learn a lot. You also made me love fishing even more than what I did and now I’m saving up for a kayak. I just wanna thank you for that.
Nothing better then sitting down on the couch after a long week of work with a nice cold beer and watching some giants being caught!! Thanks my friend!
That January 2020 in the snow guy had no clue what this year would be but he got outside and did what he loved and caught these 20 awesome fish and inspired others to do the same all year! Thank you man!
Greg, I always love your videos because you show us the reality of fishing. You show us the ups and downs and why the sport is called fishing and not catching. I love the way you talk to the viewers as if we were in the boat with you. And that you also share with us what you are thinking when you change baits or locations. I await your next posting with baited breath.
I know it’s already October but today I finally got my license for California fishing after living here some years and hit the lake. Appreciate the hours of content, and consistent hogs it gave me that itch again and boy did it feel good!
I can say this...I watched every video where you caught each of these fish! For me it would have to be nostalgia, the Canal Bass in Upstate New York. It had the best looking side steaks of all the bass you have caught so far this year!
What a sweet roundup! My fave is the Yesterday fish. Just for the sheer rush of catching the fish you hope to catch because you saw her there the day before. Thanks for sharing and allowing us to live our COVID fishing dreams thru you! :)
Greg, you got me into kayak fishing and doing tournaments this year (my first year). I have a sit down kayak but I go out there with the big boys and try my best (5th/23 was my best ;)). You've taught me to punch, to frog, and just gave me motivation to keep going out. Really appreciate all your videos and the hours and hours of entertainment that comes with them. Keep them up please!!!!!
Dude! My old man and I watch your videos whenever we have free time. I’m almost an LT in the army and the little time we have together is usually spent fishing. Thanks for letting guys like me learn to be a better fisherman and person. Nobody puts in the extra effort like you. Blessings and Godspeed, Greg!
If I counted correctly, you caught 5 on a frog, 5 on a jig, 4 on a Senko, 3 on a chatterbait, 2 on a popper and 1 on a Huddleston. Pretty well rounded use of lures considering you have fished CA, TX and NY so far this year. I fish TX, where I live. Bought a Diablo Amigo in 2019 and at 70, am having the time of my life chasing largemouth and paddling an average of 5 miles per outing. Although there is a vast difference in our ages, I am constantly inspired by watching your videos. Appreciate your keeping them clean and mostly G rated, not to mention your editing skills. Keep em' coming.
2020 has been a roller coaster ride. #19 was great one and was a tie for the biggest bass I’ve caught so far this year 6.2 also liked #14 mostly the video and the sun just a great scene. Thanks for taking us along
Before the video started I knew which one I’d pick. Definitely the last minute tournament fish. You seemed to be having a bad day and heading back you nailed it.
The Hudson bass and last minute lunker. I felt like I was watching an action movie, had me on the edge of my seat, I knew you were gonna get that kicker.
Hands I like #20, coming from someone that hates fishing in the rain and it throws off my tournament style. Catching them and especially a good one under those conditions is always rewarding!
I love how consistent you are in your phrasing "Oh that's a giant, that's a giant, that's a giant" its gotten to the point where whenever I see your rod double over I'm going "oh dude that's a giant" lol
2020, lost job in March, started fishing again after 20 yrs with time off, found your videos and can't get enuff, I remember the time you were in tourney, and caught your 5 bass in the meantime you caught 3 huge catfish on chatterbait, drive 1.5 hours to fish in San Angelo, TX.... since there's no fishing in Midland, TX.... Keep up the good work🤪
Dude, 2020 sucked as far as the pandemic and all that, but fishing has been awesome with help from your videos! I've managed to get my PB this year at 4lbs 9oz and only hope to keep breaking my records! From the bottom of my heart Greg, THANK YOU, BROTHA! You've seriously helped me fish different stuff and get bigger fish! You the man, Greg! And everyone subscribed to this channel knows it! Tight lines, loose drags bud! -rpm
The "Rainy Day Biggun" was definitely my favorite. There's something about catching bass in the rain. It turns their feeding sense on. Great year for you so far! Keep it up brother.
The Hudd Eater. That was a great example of making the right adjustment to catching a really nice female on bed, especially because it was clear you could see she was willing to defend her nest. I was a huge fan of that catch. Thanks for sharing!
The Hydrilla Gorilla brings back great childhood memories. Used to fish Lake Conroe her in Texas with my dad when I was young. It was a lake full of hydrilla and great size bass. Love the videos! They get my fishing juices flowing. I just bought a Native Slayer Max and really loving getting back into fishing.
Right off the bat!!!! #20 is awesome. Rain, cloudy... And a strange feeling that something big is around you. Love that! Some of my best days are when the weather is trashed! Awesome footage.
Thanks for taking us along on your trips. As an angler who just got back into the game after a long layoff, I appreciate you sharing your knowledge and experiences, which motivate me to get on the water. I think my favorite catch was #16. I know the relief of getting a big fish in the net, and I could feel it when you got than one in. Keep up the great work.
Greg: Thanks for all your videos, I got into Kayak fishing about 4 yrs ago from a sit-in and this year I purchased real fishing kayak a Native Titan 12 and have never looked back, started to enter KBF tournaments and have watched almost everyone of your videos, at 59 I can only wish I was you age to have that many more years to fish but not looking back and fishing as much as I can, Thanks for the great real life experiences and I have learned so much from watch you! Thanks again and keep posting please! P.S. can't pick a favorite as they are all monsters and exciting to watch you catch.... Spring time I'll be heading to NY to try few of your spots :)
Man any frog catch is my favorite, you killed this year man. My favorite has to be when you went home to fish in New York because I’m a home body and I love to go back to old fishing spot that helped me fall in love with fishing. Thank you for inspiring me to fish more bro
What a year!! #2 Chatter Chewer. It's really refreshing to watch your uploads since I don't get out on the water as much as I want. Keeps me up to date and get to learn new stuff so when I do go out, I'm not completely lost. Welcome back. Always cool to go back to where you started. Stay safe
the chatter chewer had to be one of the best-looking fish I've ever seen. HUGE head. Keep pumping out awesome videos brother guys like you make me wanna be part of the kayak fishing world!!
Greg, you are an excellent angler and cinematographer! You obviously put a lot of work into your videos and for that I thank you! As long as you do this I'll be watching and learning from you. Thank you Bud.
Thank you Greg for making all these videos. It’s really nice to be able to sit back and relax through these stressful times and learn from an experienced angler how to fish. Because of your videos I am also planning on purchasing a Kyack for my 63rd Birthday in January. Keep up the videos and good luck in your future Tournaments. Also would love to see you expand your fishing to other species in future. Ocean Salmon, Kokanee etc. Take care and stay safe. Blaine
Hey Greg, it has been a tough year for us all. The one constant was I could look forward to watching your videos. From the Delta to New York I was setting the hook with you every time Thanks for the great content.
#2 is an absolute beast!!!! My favorite fish by far for 2 reasons. #1 - she SMOKED a chatterbait and #2 - absolutely beautiful fish. Hard to beat those chatterbait fish especially on a glass rod. Keep doing your thing Greg. Catch you on the flip side!
#19 is definitely my favorite. I found your channel a couple of months ago and have watched almost all your videos. I have recently gotten into artificial fishing and watching your videos maked me itch to get out on the water. For Christmas I am asking for some baits just like the ones you have. My favorite bait I want to use is the frog. There is nothing like seeing the bass take that topwater bait. Keep up the great work Mr. Blanchard. I know I will keep watching your videos.
You're one of my inspirations to get into the Kayak angling scene. Unfortunately none of my local lakes allow watercraft of any kind so I stick to fishing in SF Bay and watch you slay the largemouth. Awesome vid as always!
"That's a Giant"...thanks for the recap, I remember all those videos. I appreciate you taking us on your fishing adventures and for the hard work you put in to put these videos out for us.... A fellow central new yorker
#2 The Chatter Chewer. I recently switched to the swim senko trailer and it’s caught me a lot of bass this fall including my new personal best. Thanks Greg!
Fished for about 6 hours yesterday with 10 fish total plus a couple that came unpinned at the kayak. You’d think I had enough for a couple days...but watching your videos makes me wanna get back out there ASAP
I'd really have to say that "The Hudd Eater" had to have been the best one. Remembering that episode and how you'd be having issues with that swimbait, then converting on that pig was a cheer in the seat moment. Great year. And it's really not over. Fall feed up time.
Greg I just wanted to say that your videos are the best by far. Thanks for sharing your fishing trips and information with all of us. I hope to catch up with you on the water some day. Keep up the great work!
The whole video was amazing. I love the way you look back at the camera after you land a monster. But my favorite line is the last one. "Get outta here Mike". 🤣 The relationship you have with these guys is great. You've definitely taught me alot in the short time I've been watching your videos. Thanks for all your hard work, Greg.
#9 The Clear Lake donkey was my favorite catch. Greg, you're doing an awesome job with this community. Great people. It's my pleasure to be a subscriber. Thank YOU sir!
#9 The Clear Lake Donkey!!!! I love what u do Greg. Thank you!!! You got me in to kayak fishing you’re very knowledgeable and I like watching your videos keep doing what you’re doing.
This was my first year that I started fishing and watching your videos made this, “transition year” if you will so much easier. Thank you for your entertaining and straight up videos that helped me gain so much information.
What a way to start a Friday! Watching Greg catch some Giants gets my hyped to go fishing this weekend. Those clear lake catches were amazing! "Get outta here Mike" lol awesome video!
Just wanted to say how much I enjoy your videos. I don’t think I can say a specific favorite catch but really liked the tournament where the kind folks let you wait out the lightning storm on their porch, how cool are they.
Thanks for your time and effort. Because of you I have purchased a fishing kayak and looking to compete in tournaments. And the setup info is great for someone who has no idea where to start. Thanks again.

Thank you for your service and dedication to keeping our country safe. You've earned to go fishing everyday thank you sir.
***Who else remembers watching every single catch before this video?!?***
Greg, you're the man, sir!
The 30lbs from a kayak is still one of my favorite fishing videos of all time
My husband and I watch your videos all the time. We learn so much from you. We take that and use it on our own trips in the kayak, which he got us for our 35th wedding anniversary. ♡
We both agree you are our favorite.
LOL
Number 14# I’m attracted to this fish 🤣 Kills me every time 😂
In the actuall video you could hear him whisper it to himself again very quietly, like did i just say that out loud 😂😂😂 had me rolling
Sometimes we pause in sheer admiration of the beauty in these creatures...even as we watchem swim away
“Thank you Sir” classic, still remember when you caught that big Bird!! 🦢
"I was about to say the F word but I didn't" lmao nothing like catching some big ones
Great year man!!!! You should make a compilation of ur smallest fish of the year.
#14 I am also attracted to that bass haha you're videos are always great. Thanks for keeping up the good content Greg
Great year with some huge fish. I know it will continue to be great. Best of luck and awesome videos

My favorite moments in your videos are during tournaments when you get a big fish in the boat. You pause for a moment and breathe out. Cheers
Retired and fishing 4 days a week from my kayak...Don Pedro and Melones! Watching G.B. on the days that I don't fish! Thanks for the content and the effort to create a quality product!
I have learned more from watching you than almost any fishing RUclipsr. Number 19 was my favorite.
This has been my first year kayak fishing, and your vids have been a constant for me on RUclips. With the whole Pandemic, fishing has been a big outlet for me from April into October
Gotta love the "last minute lunkers". Never expect them and its a good way to end the day!
Ever since I found your channel, you’ve helped me learn a lot. You also made me love fishing even more than what I did and now I’m saving up for a kayak. I just wanna thank you for that.
Number 2 FOR SUUUURE. That fish looked healthy, pretty, and lighting was just the perfect shot. Great stuff man.
my fav catch was definetely the tow boat bruiser
Nothing better then sitting down on the couch after a long week of work with a nice cold beer and watching some giants being caught!! Thanks my friend!
Started fishing again this year after a long 10 year hiatus after watching a couple of your videos. Thanks Greg!
The frog bites are always fun to watch. I also noticed a theme on this video. “It’s a giant”.
How are you so chill catching these tanks I would freak 😂

that huddleston fish has to be my favorite, theres nothing better than sight fishing a giant thats unaware of your presence.
I can't pick just one. I love when you catch big fish. You're just so humble. Keep it going man.
After watching a second time....the strategy and success with Huddleston fish was pretty amazing. A BEAST!

Number 4, The Hudd Eater, is my favorite one of your catches of 2020 so far !

You obviously put a lot of work into your videos and for that I thank you!
As long as you do this I'll be watching and learning from you.
Thank you Bud.
Favorite fishing channel hands down! Quality videos that have helped me out a ton! Greg’s videos are the most under rated on RUclips.
Number 13 was my favourite. I love that hook set, and that bass, what a unit!
Most entertaining and most relatable fisherman to watch.
Blaine

Those BASS FACTORY bites!!!! Good year man! Thanks for taking us along. Catch ya out there
I'd really have to say that "The Hudd Eater" had to have been the best one. Remembering that episode and how you'd be having issues with that swimbait, then converting on that pig was a cheer in the seat moment. Great year. And it's really not over. Fall feed up time.

#19 was insane. The eat and the hookset 🔥
They were all really good. The Hand Slicer stands out because I've done that myself
Wow! Some absolute brutes. Nicely done. For me it's #19, The Hydrilla Gorilla - that fish hammered that frog. Awesome catch.
#2 for sure- the chatter chewer- love that color of chatter bait on the delta!

The hudd eater is my favorite. Its satisfying watching the fish finally eat the bait and setting the hook.
