    that plastic inner member is an impact absorber, basically first defender for low speed parking collisions etc. It's there to help the plastic bumper cover retain it's shape while protecting the radiator/intercooler/air-con condenser assembly. The second defender is that steel or aluminium crossmember it attaches to.;well it attaches to it on the V60 but i see it fits below the crossmember on yours so maybe more for the intercooler

    Putting back the bumper was absolutely pain in my ass because i was alone.. and the biggest problem is that I bought the wrong hose it was too long, so i cut a little length and i really hope it fits well cheerz mate 👍🏼

    Haha my boss didn't want to take the bumper off so as I got smaller hands and am the apprentice he had me sticking my hand to get a spanner on the clamp from the bottom of the car 😅 it worked and now we made it so u can rachet the clamp back up together from the bottom instead of going through all that hassle again

    Hey man, thanks for the v50 content. I cannot for the life of me find any install info on the front lip/spoiler. Does that just attach to the two holes in the wheel well, or is there additional mounting all around the lip? Mine's tore up pretty bad so I dont have a great idea of what it should look like

    So...one question. After you replace the hose the limp mode (check engine message) will disappear automatically or you gotta delete it from the car`s computer? Thanks

      I had to plug in and delete the code to remove the light. Although, if the car doesn't detect an issue upon restarting the engine, it may well go off and stay out of limp mode, but it will save the code until plugged and deleted.

      Not the D1462. This is the ford D2 engine, slightly different. Not sure of the engine code.

      @@steve1993ashley was it making the hissing sound only under acceleration? In neutral with it not moving their was no noise?

    • @steve1993ashley
      @steve1993ashley  7 месяцев назад

      That's right, only under acceleration, as soon as the turbo started to spool, there would be a noticeably loud hissing

      Hi mate. Changed the pipe but still choosing noise on acceleration any idea what it could be?
