He is clearly political in this video, which i agree i don’t like, but i disagree with your claim that “he didn’t do the research”, he at many times showed (on screen) his sources for where he got his information and claims from; some of them being scholarly articles. Sure some sources you could argue were probably not as authoritative or trustworthy (such as planned parenthood), but still, i think it’s disingenuous to say he did zero research. I get you probably disagree with a lot of what he said in the video, but this does not mean he did “little research”.
Fun facts...juniper berries are abortifacients. Gin has juniper berries as a principal flavoring. Gin was the most popular tipple of lower-class women for several centuries. (17th, 18th, 19th) Hm.

Looking at this from an LGBT angle, I find the idea that national decriminalization would have happened if it remained something determined on a state by state basis kind of laughable, unfortunately. Some things just need to be top down for large swathes of the country to not be hell domains.
But most Countries legalized homosexuality before they Legalized abortion on request, and homosexuality is legal in nearly twice that amount of countries that abortion on request is legal in.
Although i disagree with your characterization of the anti-Abortion movement and the American right in general, i do agree with your analysis and hypotheticals regarding an America without Roe V. Wade, including the effect this would have on American society and American women themselves (which would in many cases be negative). Honestly these kinds of “what ifs” are my favorite, they aren’t these massive, history altering events that create a radically different world then we know (which are my least favorite), but instead take more recent, well-known, significant events and alter them, which creates a somewhat familiar but still different world than we know today. “A Yiddish Policeman’s Union” is a good example of such alternate history, the modern day is familiar and similar to our own, but casually different, which is the most believable and fun alternate history in my opinion.
I planned to subscribe to your channel after listening to your collaboration with "Flashpoint History". But after this "dumpster fired" of anti-conservative tirade, I think not!
If you really were “fair” you would’ve brought up the attempted assassination of a Supreme Court Justice by an abortion activist. But just had to leave that out huh? Let’s be frank here, BOTH pro life and pro choice have done some stupid and terrible stuff and BOTH need to be called out on it. No one is squeaky clean here! *sighs annoyed like you did*
Its a 20 minute video so things will be left out. I already had to over simplify a lot of history to provide context and cut a bunch of stuff out in the editing process (such as the debate over Norma McCorvey's true feelings on abortion or alternate history works that discuss abortion) that I didn't think were relevant. Ultimately I decided the long history of anti-abortion violence (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-abortion_violence#United_States) deserved a mention. Should I have brought up the person arrested by Kavanaugh's home? Maybe, but I'm not sure if this recent act of (according to the police) a suicidal man turns this into a "both sides are bad" issue. One side has a long and documented history of violence or condoning violence. Implying the other side has the same problem is just not true.
@TheAlternateHistorian are you kidding me? Setting aside the barbaric violence of the act in question, feminism was built on terrorism from the beginning. Weird mobs of lunatics stormed state capitols Jan 6 style after the court overturned the worst decision in Supreme Court history.
Just think about it people are willing to have an abortion rather than use protection to prevent killing a baby. Why do women put themselves through that?if you don’t want a baby use protection
1. Contraception is not nearly as accesible or works as perfectly as it needs to for this to be reasonable 2. If a woman is raped she doesn't exactly have a choice to use contraception does she
Well... your point seems kinda moot, considering certain states are on their way to banning some or all forms of contraception in the wake of this fiasco.
Women don’t “put themselves through that”, a lot of women are on birth control or use contraceptives, but sometimes, like what Matt mentioned in his video, women are raped or otherwise forced into pregnancies they don’t want to have, and in some cases contraceptives they use simply don’t work! So no, it isn’t a case of women “choosing” to put themselves through abortions, but often times them having to get an abortion because of factors outside of their control.
As a pragmatist i am totally for irresponsible individuals to yeet their bloodlines out of existence so the future only belongs to the responsible and traditional. Am more willing to contribute my taxes to fund this than decades of welfare for the resulting progeny.

If you need an abortion and it isn't accessible where you live, you can make a Del-Em or take misoprostol and mifepristone. There may be groups in your area that can help such as Aid Access or Hey Jane.
I don't comment often; however, this was far more political than you normally do. It's also the first time I've felt like you didn't do the research.

Where's that "right" in the constitution?
Women dying fom abortion went up significantly after Roe. Source: Rachel Wilson.
This isn't abortion. This is the Handmaid's Tale with extra steps.

I personally disagree I can only see a better america without the roe v wade decision

I'd hardly call it attempted, the guy called the police on himself.

In the UK, contraception is widely available and for free. The USA is the weird county.

@modmaker7617 if stealing workers money to artificially suppress the birthrate is normal, I'd rather be weird.
