Thank you so much for this. I just got an Addi and am using Caron Simply soft with it (I also tried Lion Brand Basic Stitch) and the yarn continues to bunch on just one tooth. I'm wondering if I need to replace that tooth or how to make it stop bunching there. Any ideas? I'd greatly appreciate it!

@@shenannagins Just seeing this, sorry for the delay. It turned out there was an issue with the red section in the Addi (that holds the teeth in place). It wasn't entirely smooth so it kept snagging the yarn. The seller ended up exchanging the piece for me and it's working great now.

This continues to happen to me anytime I knit any panels, does anyone have any advice on how to stop and prevent this bunching?
Hi! Sometimes it's a matter of the yarn you're using. I recently did a tutorial on tucked stitches (the bunching you see) hopefully I can answer some of your questions in that.

So I just got this exact version of my sentro machine and for some reason it keeps jamming every time I try cranking it. It just stops moving it makes the loudest noise. Have you had any issues with this, I was wondering if it was the bunny ears at the top causing static and messing with the yarn. I have never had this problem with my 48 stitch.
Oh yeah I've had that problem with the 22 and have had to replace it twice. In some cases, you may be able to take it apart and clean out the gears and stuff to remedy that. If it's doing that straight out the box though, it's defective 😔

Does anyone know why this happens and how to avoid it?
Usually it has to do with the thickness of the yarn. Sometimes it's too bulky or heavy and the machine will push it off the pegs.
Does this work with tubes?
