BTW , I bought Moment of Truth the first day it dropped. That was the first Gangstarr album I purchased, and when I first listened to it, I said it was a classic, and I’m still listening to it close to 25 years later.

I saw this and stopped all the "Work" I was doing. Very much anticipated.
First time I ever heard this track was On the 24/7 Mayweather/Marquez. It prompted me to get the full clip album. Classic and warm memories.

@Frank Lopez incorrect! 94/95 were great years in Hip-hop for sure. Not the best in history! No. The 2000s were also great years in Hip-hop. It hasn't been until the last 12 to 10 years when Trap, Drill, and southern rap has been pushed to the forefront, were the Hip-hop lost it's culturally value.
@Frank Lopez Again incorrect! From 1988-1999 was the golden era of Hip-hop culture. That was the strongest period in the culture. The 2000s were great as well. Hip-hop gained more commercial success and recognition, but Nas, Jay-Z, 50 cent, Dip set, State property, Eminem, Luda, T.I, Lil Wayne ect all peeked after 2000.

Timeless classic.
One of my all time favorites.
Partly because one of my friends used it for his skate part in the early 2000s.
He gave preemo and guru their credits and ofcourse and didn't pay for the song but no money was made.
It was just a local video.
I still skate to this now and again and it never gets old.
It's actually better now that I'm older.

I love how sporadic the bass drum is in this loop. The other instruments keep the swing going throughout but then when that kick drum hits it's all the sweeter. Another gem from Premier
