Those who are interested in climate change should be looking at this. Greening deserts or degraded lands can make a difference.

His message is incredible as always. I had never thought about the Sinai as a starting point before though. It could be an excellent job regeneration tool for the area post COVID-19.

I totally agree with you! His project Ecosystem Restoration Camps is a great solution for this.

İt can be done by Seyhan and Ceyhan rivers' water from Turkey. You just need to take it in pipeline like petroleum lines. Thats a huuge river sistem just across the Mediterranean sea.

Great video !! I'm so thankful to have stumbled on to your channel.
I'm a retired mechanical engineer having grown up on a farm and eventually worked for big pharma specializing in thermal dynamics.
I'm on a quest to make the planet a better place by bringing permaculture, aquaponics, and rammed earth buildings using the natural materials on site in the high desert of northern Arizona.
The average annual rainfall here is 14 inches and if properly managed, should be more than enough. We need to learn how to work with nature and not try to dominate her.
I'm inspired by your work and passion to create a better environment for the earth by teaching many how to use your common sense philosophy to solve our problems.
    BRAVO !!!

Stunningly good talk as usual from John D Liu. It's utterly amazing to reflect on this in the middle of the global pandemic. The practice of animal agriculture started so much that doesn't work on our planet, and I really appreciate how he links the physical effects of desertification to the huge social downturns too. Great video!

how is it that this has only 5000 plus views? and many moronic and petty RUclips videos that have absolutely zero value get millions of views? EVERYONE should be listening to his message. Its crucial as we are facing extinction...

the creation of winds part i can totally relate. it's called a low pressure trough. That's a very powerful natural force. it's what caused the flooding in australia in early 2020

The low number of views is a direct result of the algorithms that RUclips and others are using for far too long.
