I am putting this out here just out of curiosity you never know. I am engineering student currently following a master of ship design at university of Liège in Belgium. Over the summer break I'd like to pursue an internship in the naval industry. My interests are more focused on sailing vessels and ocean racing (V.O.R. , Vendée Globe, Jules Vernes Trophy...) never the less your transatlantic project sounds amazingly challenging and frankly quite unique, I love it. Would you recon Bernico might be interested in people joining for small amount of time and help out on the project ?
I think it would be better to contact them via Email, i highly doubt they are going to read it. Even if they will, RUclips is not a place for serious applications

I don't think he realizes, that he is "building" a freakin race boat. It's nothing like the Richard's Princess where he probably got inspired to get a boat in the first place. It's going to be a great boat for sure, but he will probably sell it after a month or so. Plus you need a lot of skill to handle a boat at the speed it can achieve.
Didnt jon say one of the reasons he Changed the vlog format is to prevent inconsistensy? Whats next? 1 vid once a month? (I still enjoy your vlogs and you are my favourite youtuber, But with this it only gives me a smile once a week (if the vlog comes online) instead of 3 times. Hey, I love you guys but consistency is the key otherwise your “loyal” fan base will grow increasingly frustrated. We have been here for years and yes, we get that you need a break and that vlogging everyday is hard, which is why we understood and appreciate the fact you went to once every few days then once a week. At the very least keep us updated on when the next vlog will arrive, dont do a Casey Neistat on us, you are better than that.
I like the ambition to do this transatlantic record thing. And I know your the type of guy to hit the ground running and to work super hard to achieve your goals. Its what made you so successful. But I think you need to just take a step back and think about this. Its not like building a custom car, or even racing on a race track. Were talking about being in the middle of the ocean, in any possible condition, super dangerous stuff. You have very little experience with boating on your own, youve never crossed an ocean on your own in a boat. Im sure youll be able to do it one, day, but I dont think that it should be the first thing you do. Work your way up to it, gain a ton of experience and then take it on. This comment will probably drive you to do it even more, and thats really not the point.

D s All Racing boats got suspencionseats. On the boat i was in we Even had suspencion floor. Still after a few hours you feel that you have been 30 cm shorter and everything hurts like hell.
Vlog feels like throwing a bunch of good looking but not at all related clips together. The feeling of following a story is completely gone and so is my excitement…
Kind of feels like it’s quickly put together. On some days it’s like they just say hi to the camera and that’s it. The vlogs got shorter and now it’s turned into one part only
It’s not that I have a problem with weekly vlogs but the don’t have a story. It’s probably better to not shoot each an every day but to focus on story telling.
It was nice to see the progress on the boat (though he didn't show much), but the vlog got really good once the bomb part started. Please keep focusing on that kind of storytelling. It makes the vlog interesting and helps us connect with you. Assembling and figuring out the bed was also very good. I've assembled a few pieces of large furniture all by myself so I know how challenging it can be. This is the kind of thing we can relate to. Keep up the good work guys!
After these action packed few last vlogs, I think a do enjoy these everyday life ones more. I you don't always have to do extreme things for the vlogs to be interesting. I like how you show us the normal aspect of your journey through life and find it so motivating. I love hove you guys are always so positive. Thanks for making these vlogs :).

On the couple flights I had two bomb threats and one „emergency“ landing where we were told to talke the brace position because the landing gear had some kind of fault. But everything was fine on all three flights. I’m used to stuff like that 😂
