    Basquiat Inspired Jump N°2020005
Inspired by Jean Michael Basquiat. MANY ARTISTS COME TO MIND WHEN THINKING OF PROTEST ART...Basquiat challenged us all through his art. A painter, poet, and prodigy of the downtown New York art scene and a close friend of Andy Warhol. Jean-Michel Basquiat is an art icon. I chose to emulate elements of his painting Defacement and images found in Basquiat's work the painting “Boy and Dog in a Johnny Pump. ” I was inspired to paint this as a way of saying ART MATTERs and your artistic voice matters.

Creative Voice Artistic Voice: What is artistic voice?
Your voice is a unique and recognizable artistic style that is distinctly your own; your inspiration, your materials, techniques, themes and color palette all working together in a way that looks like it comes from you and no one else.

At RT-2:14 you really had something going then you overdid it with the Caucasian skin tone paint. I gave you a like anyway

Thank you for your comment however I was emulating Basquiat en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boy_and_Dog_in_a_Johnnypump and the incident both officials were white

@@CherylJohnsonArtist I really liked it better at RT !:51 mark than the finished product. Art is subjective and if you were going for Basquiat then the finished item conveys that. I see the officrs here as pink, the causation skin tone randomly in the background is what I was objecting to as it covered up the scribbled writing (his trademark) and it is just a hideous color with the other colors in the painting.
