I definitely enjoy watching the Nero Show as well as the Party Pace Podcast. I think you would bring a different perspective responding to either, as I see you as somewhat in between the racier roadies and the party pace luddites.
That's an interesting assessment of me and I think it is very accurate! I do find myself in the middle -- not to obsessed with Nero Show tech stuff they spend hours talking about but not a 100% in the Party Pace.

I also Watch the youtubeurs That you mentioned, and as others said I think you are in the middle. Sharing your know how and experiences is, on my point of view more precious/interesting than commenting on already debated topics. For example I think it would be interesting to know what are the techniques you use to be prepared for two 600k in a month, while maintain work, relationship, etc etc
I am also very thankful for your insights on “more up to date” products for rim brake crowd (hed wheels, cane creek brakes that support 32c Tyre).
But if you have the time to discuss already discussed topics and add your point of view,why not?

I have a reaction to some news I just heard about over the weekend. The manufacturers in China that produced lugs, fork crowns, and other such items for about 90% of the World's custom frame builders has been taken over by Tange a Japanese company I think. This take over has caused a very limited supply and now some builders are closing their businesses. I am in contract with a US builder and was suppose to have my frame started this month but it's on hold indefinitely. Marketing of carbon bikes is winning. People just don't know the value of a steel bike over a carbon piece of junk anymore. I guess moving forward Tig welded frames will be our only option and those beautiful lugs are going to disappear.
Wow I thought something from China being moved to Japan would be a good thing. I''m so sorry to hear about your frame being delayed. I know you have mentioned the custom steel frame you were getting built.
