Ooh these look so nice! I like the short brush, but the Deka brush looks incredible. It almost looks like a sponge, it's so dense. The girthiness. Lol.
I might be sold on that Deka brush. You create fascinating, interesting videos surrounding Fude brushes, Alicia!! I also appreciate how you don’t pressure us to spend $😊❤
I have the Deka brush and use for powders that’s are hard to pick up like NARS blush in palettes or powders that you feel are hard pan or you just need want more powder. It grabs those powders that I would not use because the softer brushes couldn’t pick up enough color. Two great brushes two different uses in my opinion. Great detailed & thorough review like always!! 😊❤️
Right now Fude Beauty also has the Koyudo Fu-Pa01 blush brush with dyed sokoho bristles. I’ve ordered it, but also reached out to FB to try and confirm that the listing is accurate and it is 100% sokoho goat bristles (because I thought all those had been discontinued except for any revival).
First and foremost, all of your videos are awesome! I was especially impressed with the deka demo. Your high praise of this brush (and the fact that I have nothing like it) made me go for it. In the past, I have come across a couple of products that seemed impossible to pick up with my brushes (MAC & Bobbi Brown back then). At that time, I knew nothing about Fude. Thanks to your in depth descriptions, demos, and overall product knowledge, I am to apply products more seamlessly. My collection is growing, and I am thrilled with each brush. Thanks so much!

I almost ordered the Deka brush, it is beautiful, but I realized that I already have that exact brush or close to it just with the smaller FuPa handle from years ago and it is still in beautiful shape. So I ordered a Chikuhodo T-13 that I had been eyeing for a while instead. 😊 Some of my favorite Koyudo brushes are the Premium SJ series with with the grey squirrel and sokoho goat hair. Thanks Alicia, LOVE your fude videos and all of the time and work you put into them!!
I have BOTH fupa brushes (the black one with goat synthetic mix) & the other all goat with a pink handle when Koyudo did a special release (they only made 70 brushes) this year around April (or last year 😅 I don’t remember) ❤ I love them both ! I couldn’t decide which to get; so I though eh why not get the synthetic mix & the cute pink all goat one 🥰 … I love their size & versatility; I have cream & liquid bronzers so they are perfect ❤ I’m happy it’s being offered again & with bigger quantities 🥰 ok back to the video 😅
I'm curious if this would be harsh on sensitive skin or not? I'm slowly replacing my current drugstore and Sephora Pro brushes with Fude ones after finding that most of them are causing irriitation on my cheeks where my eczema is most sensitive. I bought the Chikuhodo JG Series foundation, cheek, powder, and eyeshadow, and the Rephr Saibikoho Holiday brush. recently and was blown away! I swear the Rephr brush has a cooling sensation when I use it. I researched bristles and uses for sensitive skin and the FO series from Chikuhodo as well as the rest of the Sky Series from Sonia G are what I'm looking to pick up over the next few months. I love using brushes for my foundation and I use cream and liquid cheek products during Fall/ Winter so I prefer something that is multi use which is why this caught my attention.

I had the opportunity to visit Koyudo this summer in Japan and made my own brush! Also visited Hakuhodo and Chikuhodo. What a blast!

I have the Fu-pa 02 revival brush Fude re-released in 2022; love that slanted brush 😍 Will have to look for it 👀👀👀

I saw and I jumped on this right away. I do not like a heavy application of foundation. The deka is appealing as well.
