Fantastic trip Dan - I can clearly see why your taken by the Howgills. They're dramatic, remote and not so trodden as the rest. Nice little pitch after and you survived. Well, survived the summiting and the descent - nice wet and windy. Well the spout probably looked better because of the rain so all good. Well, all the best. Mark

I've checked online and apparently it's pronounced "Lef". I spent 6 years in Belgium calling it "Lef-a" and no one ever corrected me.
