I see you have a Elantra N in the back. I want to purchase the jb4 for my elantra N and wanted to know exactly which link it is.
The JB4 for the Veloster N is the same for the Elantra N.

Do you need an ek1 or anything to be able to go back to ecu or do other things or can you just have the jb4 by itself
All you need is the JB4, it’s a stand alone piggyback tuner. It has its own selectable maps. When the tuner is removed, the computer is back to stock. The JB4 doesn’t rewrite or add anything to the stock ECU like an EK1 does.
I actually installed my wires vice versa, the colored wires to the map and brown and black to the charge pipe and it was acting not good and I see why, you don’t think it will hurt anything do you? I only drove it 10 mins or so

@@nprform good to hear, the display gauges on the Jb4 app aren’t working, the map gauge shows the map I’m on but the others aren’t working, any idea what the issue could be? I’ve checked connections and everything seems tight
@@3lyK Is it certain ones not working or are all the gauges not working? Have you tried changing some of the default gauges? I found some of the gauges don’t work for all cars.
In your opinion is the JB4 worth it?
Yes, it’s worth it. I felt it was worth it on my Kia Stinger and now on my Veloster N. It’s easy to install, remove, and use. It gives you several preprogrammed maps, which should cover most builds. Plus, it gives the car a nice boost in horsepower and torque. You can get more out of a full custom tune, but this is a nice plug and play option.
I have it on my veloster N as well. Definitely worth it.

@@Warboss777 We’ve ran the JB4 on our previous Kia Stinger and now the Volster for a long time with no issues what so ever. It’s a great alternative to a full tune.
Hi I have EN I bought the car with jb4 the owner didn’t replace the spark plugs do I buy new spark or just re-gap the stock one to 0.22 thanks
You can do either. For me, I would replace the spark plugs to be on the safe side. If you don’t replace them, when gapping the factory plugs, make sure the tips is clean and not covered in build-up.

Does the JB4 void the warranty?
Any modification to a vehicle can void the warranty of the part of the car you’ve modified. The JB4 is a piggyback tune and, as such, it doesn’t rewrite the factory ECU, so, in theory, if you remove it, before taking it to a dealership, then they would not know the car has been modified by any type of tuning device.
Anyone have any issues with the plugs and need to regap them?
I made sure the plugs were gapped properly before installing them. The ones I received were all gapped correctly, per their stated gap specs.
@@nprform yeah so all mine were gapped at .26 and ran good at first but i took the car out again and it basically bogged out after 4k rpms like there was no more power

@@nprform its cool, i think maybe im just not pushing enough for colder plugs yet but ima try 2 different gaps. Stocks are fine for now, i got with nathan so im not trippin no more🤷♂️
