First Impressions: Yamaha Tracer 900 / FJ-09

Please mind the wind it was very blustery with 30-50mph gusts while I was riding.
I take my new to me Yamaha Tracer 900 / FJ-09 or the Fazer as I like to call it, out for a spin! What a great machine. The I-3 engine is amazing... One of the best I've ever had the opportunity to run. Bike still is not where I want it for the season. What a great and versatile machine!

I’m envious!😋. Would have liked to have found a Tracer for my son-in-law but the wait list for a Yamaha Tenere or Tracer is too long to bear. So I settled for a second choice which was a BMW F900RX.
I’m sure we will like the Beemer, they seem to be quite comparable according to half a dozen reviews. But having owned Yamahas for 50 years I’d rather we had the Tracer😎.
The goal is to ride the Alaska Highway from Anchorage to Boise; me on my ‘19 T120 Black and he on the new RX.🤗

My MT09 has definitely impressed me too. Sounds like you found the right bike. For now anyhow. I’m sure you’ll crush some miles with it this year 👍👍
