Hello, finally, we are done with this video, we have been working on it for around 9 years (not full time). We hope you enjoy it. It is a sequel of this video if you have missed it: • LEGO - 8-bit trip
And here are some more videos we have made:
    • Terminator 2 - 20 year...
    • Rymdreglage - Old Styl...
    • Rymdreglage - Zombie Pace
    • Rymdreglage - Old days
    • Rymdreglage - Insert Coin
So we are Rymdreglage from Sweden. We like to do music and videos and build stuff, sometimes
with artistic ambitions sometimes just to save money like film equipment and stuff like that. We have also been working for three years on a digital puzzle called "Crypzzle" that you can download for free from our webpage: www.rymdreglage.se It contains over 5000 hours ambient music. 1024 albums with 99 songs on each album. The winner will hopefully be happy. More info on the webpage. You can find all of our music on Spotify and probably most of the other streaming platforms.
If you like what we are doing and want to support us financially, you can do so on our website www.rymdreglage.se We use PayPal, swish and Patreon. If you donate 200 USD or swishar 2000 SEK or more we will send you a pair of the "Steampunk Rave Glasses" that are handmade by us, see the following link:
    • Steampunk Rave Glasses
They comes wrapped in a paper from the video Terminator 2 - 20 years that we made back in 2011. • Terminator 2 - 20 year...
If you donate 70-199 USD or swishar 700-1999 SEK we will send you a digital puzzle called: Crypzzle. It is on a 256 GB USB-stick and contains over 100 000 ambient songs. More information here: www.rymdreglage.se/crypzzle/
If you donate 30-69 USD or swishar 300 - 699 SEK we will send you All songs we have made so far on some DVD's plus exclusive photos of the members in Rymdreglage posing in the excellent nature of Sweden. This are also wrapped in a paper from the video Terminator 2 - 20 years.
If you donate 20-29 USD's or swishar 200-299 SEK we will send you a copy of Legenden om Dunneric (Legend of Dunneric) to you. (DVD with real DVD-case and everything like the one in the store, almost). The language is in swedish and there are only swedish subtitles, but that does not matter because the dialoge is just silly and it is the extrodernary action scenes that brings the story forward. This one is not wrapped in a paper from the video Terminator 2 - 20 years because then it will be to heavy. Here is a link to a music video with clips from the video "Legenden om Dunneric":
    • Rymdreglage - Legend o...
We also have Patreon where we mostly upload vlogs of our work with videos, music and some random stuff, right now we have started to build the Piano thrower that hopefully will be able to throw a piano 100 meters. We have 72 pianos that we will smash and film with a high speed camera and make a music video of. So check it out if you think that sounds funny!
    / rymdreglage
We ship to all places on earth and the cost for the shipping is included in the price.
    Our swish number is 123 641 6846
PayPal-link is found on our website: www.rymdreglage.se

It's not just about views, it's about an absolute determination and will to achieve something so beautiful in stop-motion.
This shot at 3:02 always amazes me. It's like a POV of a space ship traveling thru 8-bit dimension.

Watching that part gives me the same vibes as the one carnival ride that you lie on sloped rolling platforms on the inside of an enclosed giant spinny thing, and as it speeds up you're pushed back against the platform, and eventually you're going so fast you _roll upward_ and you're pinned in midair... It almost gives me the same visual vibe, gradual acceleration until you hit critical velocity and _magic_ happens.

Worth the wait. The amount of delicate details and insane efforts for the pixel-perfect effects, ALL DONE BY HAND! I was blown away by the first one, and am just as impressed with this! FANTASTIC JOB!
Side Note: I used the original 8-bit trip video as an example of a "True 1080p" video on YT, most were just SD videos upscaled, but the downside was YT couldn't handle HD streaming well, so you'd have to let it buffer fully. It was worth waiting for the HD quality back then, and it was worth the wait for a quality sequel!

Holy crap. I remember watching the original video when I was just a little tike, Maybe 9 years old. By far the thing that blows me away the most is how steady and smooth the camera work is. That timing and steadiness is tough get right in stop motion. There were times I questioned for a moment if this was actually a 3D software instead of live action, kinda like the lego movie. And its strange seeing how some of this stuff is the kinda stuff I attempted (and failed) doing when I was a kid. Thank you for making this!
