Nexgen is not worth the money if you are looking for a coating. It does apply easily, the shine is excellent, the longevity is terrible. Two washes and it will be gone. Standard car wax lasts longer. I did my own comparison against a few other products I won't even mention. Next gen was by far the least durable. And I'm talking mild hand car washes
@@victorperez-nd1gr ive been looking at reviews and turtle wax seal and shine has insane durability. At the least, 10 washes guaranteed, and stands up to harsh chemical tests for at least another 5 washes after the car wash tests, so 15+ total washes. I would wax again after 10 washes, but still.. i haven't used it yet, but if its fairly easy to apply itll be my main wax from now on. I did just try maguires hybrid ceramic wax today(its in a neon green bottle)and it was easy to apply but i saw it doesn't stand up to harsh chems well, but will hold up for the minimal 10 washes at least
Indeed! It is the best in its class, when speaking of price haha. Nexgen will bill you monthly after you make a purchase. It is obviously in the "small print" of their purchase agreement. So, BEWARE, you will get more billing from Nexgen!
It's not fine print. It's bold and plain. You just have to read more than a headline. You signed up for their monthly plan to get their free shipping and the check box is clear.
Good video...however...your credibility as "certified ceramic applicators" comes into question as it is a day one process to always wear gloves when you polish/wax/etc any car. You going bare handed just put the oils from your hand right onto the paint as you flip the towel.
@@KevG Search the torture test on amazon. It out performs quite a few of the more expensive nano coats. The guy at Apex detail and Jimbo's detailing put up good reviews.
Do a review on it. It can be used full strength, cut with water. As a sealant or a drying agent. Can be used on most surfaces although I don't like it on glass. I will shut up now.
Before my first application I know to get a car wash, but should I avoid the wax that the car wash offers? And after placing Nexgen should I avoid the wax offered when I go for a car wash?
steven spivack there are a few consumer products like chemical guys clean slate, also a good clay bar can remove things on the surface. Isopropyl alchohol/ polishing can do the same
Great review. Nothing beats an honest evaluation. I'm trying to find something for my black motorcycle and I'm less worried about water beads and more concerned with protecting the paint from bugs and other road debris. Front fender and windshield are plastic and the rear fender and tank are metal, any suggestions for my use case? TIA
Glad you appreciate the honesty! For plastic parts, I know there are some protectants out there. I think Nexgen and F11 are advertised to be used on all external surfaces so it might not be a bad option. As far as metal, I'm not entirely sure. I'd do some more research and googling to find out what's best. Good luck!
I bet you didn't let it cure. Any type of sealant, or ceramic coating, needs time to cure. Most of those take around 24 hours to fully cure. And, you could also use too much and cause it not to work properly as well.
@@KevG I do apologize if that sounded rude at all. Just the way I talk. The sure time is something I learned when I switched from carnuba wax to sealant. And now on to ceramic
I bought this stuff a week ago and tried it on my brand new truck. There was no difference in the water sheeting or beading on the untreated half vs the treated half. The wster actually seemed to stick to the truck. Im looking for a money back guarantee, hell I'll take half. This stuff is crap. Regular Maguires works better!
I just bought a three pack of this stuff and now I’m not so sure I even want to use it but I guess since I spent the money on it I will use it. I’m kind of disappointed though.

This stuff is useless, does not provide much beading and does not last. No thank you, I’ll stick to Chemical Guys top coat sealant every 8 months, takes some work but will last and much better results. You get what you pay for, Chemical Guys everything, Nexgen nothing.
Just started using NEXGEN products and I have stopped with Griots and Adams. NEXGEN is a serious product for the weekender or the heavy detailer. Great job and great video!!!
Didn't beaded up good was disappoint in that out come

Your suppose to let water flow not use a water nozzle for better results
I've found that this product works better if you let it cure overnight.
Good to know!
Did you guy’s let it dry for 24 hours before you sprayed water on it?
Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic Wax is top for its price, it last up to 19 months in extreme Texas weather. Boom!
I've used that before and love it!
If any automobile is not washed, clayed, iron decon and polished at least with a one step, you can forget about getting superior results period!!!!!!
mynsxt6 car had a complete paint correction and detail the day prior!
The beading doe not say that though, I have to take your word!!!!
How do it looks after a all day rain tested on the road and come back tomorrow with the review hitting it with clean water is not what I’m looking for
Meguirres is better than that
Agreed
