As a kid I installed a sofware wich was needed to "join a clan" xD After i installed it and startet diablo I had to go into a game with the "clan boss" and press F1. It then opened my inventory and my mouse was moving without me doing anything, droped all my gear and Items from the stash. And then my PC rebootet... I started crying because it felt so bad to be fooled that way.

That is baby scamming, the good ol' days of "I can dupe, just drop that item on the ground behind that wall and I will dupe it." Then use a weapon with telekinesis to pick it up and steal it in town.
Or "Sure, I'll trade, just drop the item on the other side of this wall to show that you have it." And it'd be a wall that you could just grab stuff through.
Its interesting, in WoW if someone is scamming people, ive contacted blizzard and recieved restitution, ( gold returned, item returned whatever) but in D2 its like good luck lol
i was very good scammer at my 16years old child. on 1.12 ~ 1.14 patch but today I dont like to scamm. many people curse me that old days. and many of them beg me to give this items back.. its fun but you dont scamm peoples items but their time! this hurt much more
