Persian Ney - Keep moisture out !

In this video I discuss the different tools I have found to keep my instrument over a long period of time.
Baby talc powder = anti moisture
Econazol emulsion = anti fungus

For killing fungi inside the ney I would recommend tea tree oil (mixed with a carrier oil like almond or olive oil). I used it with great success in various flutes. Also, for the moisture problem, I use a tissue to dry the top part of the ney after I finish playing, and leave the ney in an upright position so the rest of the moisture evaporates. Not sure if it’s a great idea to keep putting talc inside it, it might build up.
