Love this series, almost as good as Breaking Bad

I agree. I think i makes a lot of sense. When you doubt your sensor ability, highly likely intuitive and vice versa

For me, having a sensor mother and intuitive father, whilst one could initially dominate the physical realm, the other catches up very quickly.
Or the other has a great understanding of possibilities, the other also catches up.
I see the world as a combination of learning from both types.
A constant push and pull of both sides of the coin that eventually causes a huge overlap between different types.

In any kind of colloquial sense, detaching from the physical day to day makes you "introverted", particularly if you're hanging out in your house the whole time, or walking around by yourself. And that perception goes well beyond whatever Myers Briggs adds to it. Worth noting

Yet there are introverted sensors that are very grounded in the day to day, and extraverted intuitors who are very detached from it. Extroversion/Introversion should be about breadth vs depth, not involvement vs detachment

Here is my prediction: Thirty years from now, your current videos will be compared to your then videos (in which your beard will be mostly gray), and people will remark how even in 2023 you were destined to be the sage who once and for all clearly defined the Jungian functions.

Good expectations. On the topic of how's more valued. I think the intuativs are the smart ones thing is more of an internet thing. In the real world sensors are often much more appreciated. I mean how doesn't want someone with attention to details and with the force to actually get things done.
Anyhow the argument is silly and the best if not the easiest is to have many different people with different personalities to cover each others witnesses.

I had a lot of small incidents with the car, a scratch here and there. the one big bump was my sensor husband. Im also 90% of the broken dishes and glasses, maybe 99% even bc I have that every other week anf for him do not remember any incident actually.

Jack, it’s Julius. We did a typing video a few months ago and you typed me SLI.
That means that I would lead with introverted sensing. What you’re saying in this video is that I would have a better time being strategic than brainstorming? Thanks

I was curious of your thoughts on the similarities and differences between functional attitudes, side by side e.g Fe and Te, Fi and Ti and so on. Have you deep dived this?

Yes, I cover this in depth in my course.

So if someone prefers sensing but they are still bad at sensing, are they not sensor?

What does it mean to prefer? Ne types will prefer Si over Se but be weak at both.

Do you believe that psychiatric medication can permanently snuff out ones intuition? ever since I went on antipsychotics I've been stuck in the sensory realm, and can no longer brain storm or come up with new ideas, and that used to be what came easiest to me in life.

well said, except for the intuitive not surviving, that would be impossible in the natural world of course intuitive will thrive more than sensors , especially individuated intuitive
in a dystopia world you need imagination for the bored which can be more of a killer than the elements themselves

It depends on the intuitive vs. sensing dichotomy. Overall I’d say ISTPs and INTJs would be the most adept (above all other types) about surviving an apocalypse.

@@Anonymous_Anon882 no it would be the nfs because you need diplomacy and other people, because whoever is left will kill you for what you have so lacking empathy and the ability to read people at a deep level will be at your detriment especially if you dont know how to fawn , the t types always die
especially if you show your to smart which means you're a threat so you would have to know how to play stupid

@@Heyokasireniei468sxso that’s fine but we’re talking about quick and adept adaptation of vis-a-vis resources. Long-term the more independent introverted types would survive but making the initial adaptation that would stop you from getting killed in the first place would go to ISTPs as far as crowning goes. You don’t need to be a psychologist to swim yourself out of a H20 abyss if you have to make a decision for your life’s sake in 2 seconds.

@@Anonymous_Anon882 people are resources and have access to resources or skills you may not have im talking about the long game and the social game, to thrive we need both tbh but im more so talking about a singular persons journey thru a dystopian world ,
but i see your point even though that's not guaranteed to happen whereas you will encounter other people and if not other people, then you will confront yourself to which you do need to be a psychologist and know they self not just ones skills , have you ever been trapped in a box? if we are talking captive or trapped situations.
so if you have the vison to foresee and run the potentials then you would already be prepared for that situation on a intuitive apprehension level where as an ISTP may get stuck in analysis paralysis or hyper emotionality due to how they do with the stress and cortisol so i don't know about that crown , i would challenge it and meet you in the middle and say then the crown goes to ESI feeling moves faster than thought , and one thing esi knows is self-preservation and they are the most intuitive out of the sensors
