Theres also some backing to your theory in Tommy's last stream, when sam nook told tommy to destroy the egg he went even though it was against his will so then tommy started hearing the egg, hearing it screeching at him, that couldve been two things the egg finally being able to break into tommy's mind for a moment or the egg calling for help as most of the eggpire came to attack tommy when they heard it, also the moment tommy decides to go against sam nook's command and do what he wants and that is taking a part of the egg and replacing it with a crimson vine the egg stopped screeching as it was blocked from his mind again, if you watch the moment when tommy went to destroy the egg you can see him sympathize and fall under its influence but the moment he decides to take a souvenir for business and not listen to neither the egg or sam he becomes fine and stops sympathizing for the egg, tommy is not 100% immune because if he starts leaning towards the light side he starts falling immediately to the dark just as your theory says then once he stops listening to both sides he becomes fine Sorry I got a bit repetitive but I think I got my idea it across

Its not only that people who are hard to control like sam can still be infected after enough time has passed. While people who desire things like ponk and quckaity succumb extremely easily. So it seems that you can be difficult to infect like sam but not immune. Tommy is the only one on the dream smp who is immune to the egg and is not only immune but is neutral not only his he neutral to the egg but he is also complacent and doesn't care about it existing which means that Tommy is in his 'default state'. He has the discs, he has tubbo, he has everything he could want and since he does the egg can't do anything to him. In addition, other server members may be immune to the egg like Ranboo and Technoblade this is because they both are non-human and also have no desire for power and control. The egg seems to work on mostly everyone but especially people like quackity and ponk who desire things. Techno only wants anarchy and has chat, Ranboo desires to be in control of his own self, This is my theory if your a relatively strong willed, neutral person on the smp, the egg is going to take all day to get to you and if your pulled out you may still be influenced but ultimately not fully mind-controlled, but if you desire power and control over others the egg will work its magic very quickly infecting and influencing those who desire worldly things like skeppy, power, money, etc. TLDR : Tommy is immune because he has absolutely no desires what so ever but is also EXTREMELY stubborn and can't even conceive of the idea following someone else and obeying them like a master-servant relationship. People like sam, however, are not as stubborn and irrational, infact the egg probably affects people who use their brains more than dumb people so depending on how you are if your smart and logical the egg will try to get In your head and use that against u. This is why sam is affected despite having absolutely no desire for power or influence on the smp because he's a logical thinking person, but Tommy is a stupid monkey zombie child who can't even conceive of the concept of authority or established power.

Here's a theory: Church prime somewhat opposes the egg. Now what are it's origins? It was founded by Tommy and Dream. So I think that's the reason why they are immune. (yes I said they and evidence supporting that Dream is immune is for example that when Bad visited Dream he brought up the egg. But Dream was aware and didn't seem to care. Just like Tommy.) This is very unlikely but I theorise just to have fun.

I was trying to find out where the egg was from (since I haven't kept up with recent streams) and found this. Not what I was expecting but it was a nice surprise! I would've never thought about the science behind the egg until now :O
You are right the egg is more like a parasite but the vines can also be a mechanism of the egg that allow it to suck power from near by objects to provide energy to whatever is inside.
Keep in mind the egg only effects people who want something. Bad said the egg grants people there greatest desires. Tommy isn't effected because he doesn't want anything. He has what he wants so the egg doesn't effect him. Bad said the egg has a goal for everyone. Saying that the egg knows what everyone wants.
Hear me out. In George’s 1 year anniversary stream, when he did lore, dream was out of prison and they all went to the prime church, when dream touched the prime water he died. So it means that both, the Egg and Dream have a weakness for the prime water.
Tbh, this is a really great Theory! My theory is that the egg is a communication device for DreamXD and Drista to communicate with other people (The egg seems to also be attached with the DSMP as a whole/The DSMP universe itself, seen by episode 4 of Tales From The SMP) and that the mean things said by the Egg was Drista; all the other orders are by DreamXD. I also think that maybe Dream took out DreamXD's powers from a deal which he then took advantage of; going overboard, and once he was imprisoned DreamXD is tried getting his power over the SMP back. (Kind of Off-topic but I also think that when 'Dream' was speaking in third person, that wasn't him but instead was DreamXD)
You do realize that the sequel Trilogy is another timeline right because that's when Ahsoka Tano died. Because remember in Rebels there was shown to be two timelines one where the protagonist saved Ahsoka Tano and one where he didn't it. Meaning that the Mandalorian is not the original timeline but it's a better timeline and something like the sequel trilogy. And if you really do don't like the sequel Trilogy then you can always go to another timeline like the Mandalorian is doing right now.

I have a theory that the egg is like Lavos from chrono trigger, in that it seems to be a creature that exists in all time, seeing that it is still taking control of people like technoblade in the future, it likely is attempting to take over all timelines; from past and future.
On Puffy's stream, whenever she broke a piece of the Crimson Egg, it damaged her by 2, then 6 hearts of true damage. My theory is that it isn't related to immunity, but rather The Crimson's connections to other people. Puffy used to be infected, and because of this the Egg formed some sort of linkage between everyone that was or is still its guardian. Also, today's installment of the Tales of the SMP gives us more insight on the age of the Dreamon species. An interesting point is that the plot happened in the past, and that Sir Billiam at this point in time managed to use the Egg to feed people to it, showing just how much sinister it is, when even he was not able to control it.

I'm new in the Dream SMP (I mean like I didn't watch everything and I'm only begining to understand what happens and happened in that crazy and unexplicably realistic Minecraft server) and this theory just blew my mind up!! It's crazy how things fit, even though I don't have idea if that was the SMP members' intentions (I mean, what they wanted us to think). This is almost like Five Night's At Freddy's.
There are a few sides that were shown when Captain Puffy and Tubbo mentioned about the egg. Puffy once said that Bad started to act like Dream, Tubbo told Ranboo that he felt Dreamon vibes from Bad and Ant. And not to mention Dreamon may also has a connection to the egg from what Fundy said. Another thing to notice that Dreamon's first appearance was during the 'exorcism' which was held by Tubbo and Fundy.... And I haven't heard about Dreamon being gone, so maybe it's still alive and is inside of Dream, who is its host body. And since Dream's in prison now, maybe Dreamon decided to use the egg? To take over, control the whole smp? I don't know, that's just a thought

They both use people's attachments to things. Dream wanting to control everyone's possessions and the Egg saying that it 'can give you whatever your heart desires.' I don't know much about the Egg but maybe it finds something that someone desires, and tells them that it can give them what they want - and that's why people listen to and follow the Egg. Like how Dream was planning to find and keep everyone's 'attachment' items, the Egg also used what people were attached to. If that makes any sense

I think that would actually be very good, because of how the real world is also structured like that, and knowing how Chaos vs Order irl helps us live better.
Your idea of satera theory already exists. It’s called the second law of thermal dynamics. Order always turns to chaos until the energy is completely balanced and evenly distributed throughout the given medium.
Also, apparently the egg tells people that it can give them wathever they want. And for example, bad said he joined the egg to be with skeppy, because the egg possessed him too. Dream wanted to control what people loved so he could control the people itself, he showed he had that place where he was going to collect all those things, and, among them there was a cage that said "skeppy", because that was what he need it to have control over bad. Coincidence? I think not.
Theory: I think BBH is the easiest to infect and hardest to cure due to demons being known as evil demons, whereas Antfrost is the easiest to cure and possibly hardest to infect? Siamese cats are said to chase away the evil, a blessing, which could also explain his kind and caring nature.
My thoughts on the egg : is that its getting bigger and bigger when the people join the egg so if i am correct the egg is trying to get dream out of the prison when it expanding. I might be wrong.
I learned about Fungi last week and I'm wondering, could the egg have spread underground and created other eggs? I had noticed the effects of what the egg does, and it is true that it has similar features to other kinds of fungi. Fungi has it's own kind of system where they transport information to another fungi using tiny white roots underground called mycorrhizae, or nicknamed as "Natures Internet." It is noticeable that there are "Blood Vines" all across the Dream SMP, but the strange thing is that those vines don't connect to anything, which is making me thing there another feature that the egg produces which are spores. Spores are tiny Fungi which spread across the air, the reason why they're not noticeable is because they are very tiny, but they can make food or any kind of substances like that rot or grow mold. So I'm thinking that the random vines are similar to "Spores" but might have an interesting feature to spread information to the egg. SO, what I am trying to explain here is that the egg is growing its own mycorrhizade and spreading spores to not only grow other eggs, but to learn information about the Dream SMP as it's using mind control and detects when one of it's "Blood vines" are being damaged. I wanted to say one last thing before I decide to stop, I don't believe BBH grew the egg, I think she mined it out. So there could be other eggs underground of the Dream SMP.
Tommy is the Flame of Rebellion on the Server. If you Kill him he would become a Martyr and another would rise up to take his place. So instead of Crushing his Rebellious Nature he tried to break his spirit instead turning Tubbo against him, Exiling him, Isolating him from everyone, bullying him endlessly, destroying his stuff, threatening to kill him, threatening to kill tubbo, threatening to destroy his Discs. But when he got back his Disc's and Tubbo and Imprisoned Dream that all went away. He Became his happy self once more and with no opposition his flame no longer raged inside him because his opposition was gone. You can't have Chaos without Order, You Can't Have Dark without Light, And You can't Have a Hero Without a Villain. Tommy No Longer has anyone to Fight or be against so his Flame has Settled. The Egg can't control Tommy because has everything he wants and since he has everything that he want the egg can't become a force that causes that Flame to Flare up against it. In Short The Egg Can't control Tommy Because Tommy Doesn't see the Egg as A Threat since the only threats that can be made against him Are Tubbo and His Disc's and he has both. The Egg tries to control people by making them think only it can prevent the worst possible outcome But Tommy already overcame that and this is Immune. Great Video I like your Theory.
For me, I like the idea that Tommy already has what he wants, the Disks, so the Egg can't promise Tommy's desires to manipulate him, but it also relates to the Egg being equivalent to Dream in a way as both stopped influencing him due to lack of leverage, which were the disks and, when he got the disks, the bad memories he had of the Excile and such. I think that Church Prime opposes it is that Dream does not stream the SMP, so he can't get Primes. I personally think Ranboo will basically become a permanent host for the Egg even after the Egg is destroyed because there is easy leverage, being his memory, enderwalking, etc. and he's hydrophobic, so he won't willingly cleanse himself at Prime
If there is a crimson egg then is there a warped egg. I mean it makes sense due to tue fact that the opposite of crimson forest is warped forest so is there a chance to have a warped egg? If there is, then the resistance would need to quickly find it and take it into quarantine before the apocalypse comes
My theory falls along the lines of the egg gaining influence by giving people what they want to an extent. The egg is able to corrupt, such as with skeppy and the world, but Bad didn't fully fall to the egg until he realized he wasn't going to get his friend back otherwise. On top of that, Bad and The Badlands group have been rather obscure and ignored so they needed some power and influence, and the egg was able to provide that. Tommy, however, has what he desires, his discs and his friends, and anything more that Tommy wants to do either doesn't involve anything the Egg can provide or it requires destroying the Egg. Dream's crazed arc of control is over for the time being as he's locked away in prison, but I doubt he would be affected by the egg because Dream supposedly cut off all attachments and desires to avoid falling to the coercion he sought to gain mastery over. The prison was going to be a holding space for Tommy and for all the items, animals, and players who had value to other players. Dream's hubris fell flat when Punz turned on him and Awesamdude put him in prison, ans thus Dream is virtually impossible to coerce. Technoblade is an anarchist, so I don't feel that a centralized authority would sit well with him either. Though his anarchism isn't specified and the world in which this takes place doesn't exactly necessitate the specification, anarchism is not a right-wing ideology by any means and the only definition we have for "government" in this world has been an unjust hierarchy, we can assume techno falls along proper anarchist theory. A centralized authority necessitates an unjust hierarchy and thus techno and The Syndicate probably aren't likely to join the "Eggpire"
Theory: the twitch prime water is not exactly immune but its basically a "well yes but actually no" situation. The normal water too close becomes lava. Thw twitch prime water to close does not. Wool covered by normal water makes it immune to changing colors, the twitch prime water doesnt affect the change of color, in other words, the wool becomes the other color. Because of the normal water changing to lava near the egg, not only that but magma, and crimson? Im sure that the egg is changing the overworld into the nether. But the egg is much, much more powerful than that. By being to close to the egg, you can get controlled basically, right? Technoblade is the blood god, the vines are called *blood* vines. Technoblade is related to the egg because his ancestor in ‘tales of the SMP’ had the egg.
I have a theory so what if dream was actually was a good guy. .He said he always wanted choas .I always thought it was because he was a bad guy but what if he was trying to keep the egg at bay. It works as a portal to a another world. We see ponk eyes became red because of the egg.. Skeppy was was red because of the egg also . This is just like my theory of Dreamons- The Dreamon skit was something that Fundy and Tubbo made for fun as a side story. But after seeing the egg that Badboyhalo, AntFrost and Skeppy have all been controlled by, Fundy has been reminded that the room the egg has been growing in, is a room that he told Badboyhalo to make for the Dreamon group. If I'm correct that would mean that the Dreamon and the egg are related. And I imagine Dream is the host of Dreamon, being that Dream was the first person to be infected by the Dreamon, And the only person to not have his skin change due to being infected. Basically Badboyhalo turning into a black and white version, AntFrost having pink eyes, and Skeppy turning red instead of blue. It seems that dream has become a host of the main Dreamon. Then if there's multiple Dreamons controlling all these people then why hasn't dreams skin change? that's because dream made a deal with the dreamon, instead of the dreamon just completely taking over dream. He purposely went into jail so he could spend more time controlling all the people who have been controlled by other Dreamons, instead of trying to gain power. Basically if he's the main host that means he can control all people who are being controlled by Dreamons. It would be difficult to balance trying to gain power and trying to control three people at once, so instead he sent himself to prison, knowing that people would try to stop him from killing Tubbo. He did this so he could spend his entire time focusing on controlling badboyhalo, AntFrost, and anyone else who gets controlled by the Dreamon egg.
Red is the color opposite of green, he either can be a mutated version, or it’s a cloak for the more powerful version of the “egg”. Also BadBoyHalo was naturally red, so he might be an already infected person from the start hiding the truth. As time goes by, the red around BadBoyHalo becomes white, so that might be a sign of a mutation in the egg’s infection. They together persuade the others, Dream on the persuasive side kind of like a passive role, and Bad Boy Halo on the more offensive side because he forces people to join the “eggpire”. Now back to BadBoyHalo’s white stripes, now when you think about it white is a combination of all colors. Light can be seen as white as it is bright, bright, bright a mask hiding deception, power, and hatred. Now I did not get to the point of all the colors, what I mean by white is technically all the colors combined (remember this is light not paint) is that that white is a combination of all colors can be morphed into white has all the power because it has all the colors of the rainbow. BadBoyHalo can be the “egg” itself also, and Dream might be doing the same mistake BadBoyHalo was doing which is hiding his infection. This is my theory, you may disagree in the reply section on this comment. (Sorry for bad grammar if there in any I’m 10 years old sharing my theory for this “eggpire” thing.)

Side note, the dichotomy isn't anarchy and government. Government, or governance, is inevitable, people form social norms. The dichotomy is anarchy and hierarchy, or at the very least unjust hierarchy, like that of a state or corporation.
This also fits perfectly with what puffy said yesterday. Tommy had no consequence when destroying the egg, but puffy does. This is( to your theory) because the egg cannot control tommy at all, and would rather play with its food. Much like dream does with tommy, slowly manipulating and toying with him as apposed to manipulating him normally like everybody else. As well as the fact that the egg has been here for years and years( take note of tales of the smp, which is all entirely canon but based either in the past or future of the current events of the smp) the egg is a lovecraftian being, something beyond our comprehension. All we know is that it wants power and it wants blood and sacrifice. (Also take note of ponks stream where he sacrifices F Ran for the egg to leave him be) We also know that dreamons are also old monstrous beings (as hinted by tubbo stating things like "passing on dreamon hunting skills " and such, Hinting that there were previous dreamon hunters.) So maybe both the egg and dreamons bounce off eachother continuously and forever, whenever one gets too powerful, the other counteracts, in an endless loop of power. Like the egg and dreamons on a non stop seesaw. This also makes sense as wilbur stated that he originally wrote the characters to be in the hands of the world around them, as apposed to the world being in their hands. Everything happens as the world wants it to and the characters are just a consequence of the world. The world (dream/dreamons and the egg) constantly play about with power, throwing about any which person who stumbles in the way of it. The world started a fresh, the egg was stuck dormant under ground, crushed up against stone, while dream( later to be a dreamon) was nothing but a new soul in this endless earth. The dreamon, seeing the opportunity to become active within a host, started up trouble by starting stuff like the first disc war with tommy, up until the end of l'manberg and the imprisonment of dream. While this was happening the egg, which is now open to air and space to grow. Slowly realises that dream/dreamon is becoming weaker up until his imprisonment, where bbh decides to go ham with the egg. The egg waited until the power of the dreamon became less, in order to grow. Like the tale of uzumaki by Junji Ito. Both the dreamon and the egg had nothing to play around with, so they lay dormant until these people show up, uncover and allow the dreamon and egg to mess with them. It repeats what it has done thousands of times to thousands of people in millions of timelines.
I think u are right, but white is still in game, if u know what I mean. I think that white represents red and blue and something other. Maybe it's just a point of egg getting server in something like the control time or era. It could be that dream created the egg by accident and when egg get power he lose power and when egg lose power he get it, so there will be still all balanced

Its not only that people who are hard to control like sam can still be infected after enough time has passed. While people who desire things like ponk and quckaity succumb extremely easily. So it seems that you can be difficult to infect like sam but not immune. Tommy is the only one on the dream smp who is immune to the egg and is not only immune but is neutral not only his he neutral to the egg but he is also complacent and doesn't care about it existing which means that Tommy is in his 'default state'. He has the discs, he has tubbo, he has everything he could want and since he does the egg can't do anything to him. In addition, other server members may be immune to the egg like Ranboo and Technoblade this is because they both are non-human and also have no desire for power and control. The egg seems to work on mostly everyone but especially people like quackity and ponk who desire things. Techno only wants anarchy and has chat, Ranboo desires to be in control of his own self, This is my theory if your a relatively strong willed, neutral person on the smp, the egg is going to take all day to get to you and if your pulled out you may still be influenced but ultimately not fully mind-controlled, but if you desire power and control over others the egg will work its magic very quickly infecting and influencing those who desire worldly things like skeppy, power, money, etc. TLDR : Tommy is immune because he has absolutely no desires what so ever but is also EXTREMELY stubborn and can't even conceive of the idea following someone else and obeying them like a master-servant relationship. People like sam, however, are not as stubborn and irrational, infact the egg probably affects people who use their brains more than dumb people so depending on how you are if your smart and logical the egg will try to get In your head and use that against u. This is why sam is affected despite having absolutely no desire for power or influence on the smp because he's a logical thinking person, but Tommy is a stupid monkey zombie child who can't even conceive of the concept of authority or established power.

Church prime somewhat opposes the egg. Now what are it's origins? It was founded by Tommy and Dream. So I think that's the reason why they are immune. (yes I said they and evidence supporting that Dream is immune is for example that when Bad visited Dream he brought up the egg. But Dream was aware and didn't seem to care. Just like Tommy.)

Hear me out. In George’s 1 year anniversary stream, when he did lore, dream was out of prison and they all went to the prime church, when dream touched the prime water he died. So it means that both, the Egg and Dream have a weakness for the prime water.

My theory is that the egg is a communication device for DreamXD and Drista to communicate with other people (The egg seems to also be attached with the DSMP as a whole/The DSMP universe itself, seen by episode 4 of Tales From The SMP) and that the mean things said by the Egg was Drista; all the other orders are by DreamXD.
I also think that maybe Dream took out DreamXD's powers from a deal which he then took advantage of; going overboard, and once he was imprisoned DreamXD is tried getting his power over the SMP back. (Kind of Off-topic but I also think that when 'Dream' was speaking in third person, that wasn't him but instead was DreamXD)

You do realize that the sequel Trilogy is another timeline right because that's when Ahsoka Tano died. Because remember in Rebels there was shown to be two timelines one where the protagonist saved Ahsoka Tano and one where he didn't it. Meaning that the Mandalorian is not the original timeline but it's a better timeline and something like the sequel trilogy. And if you really do don't like the sequel Trilogy then you can always go to another timeline like the Mandalorian is doing right now.

On Puffy's stream, whenever she broke a piece of the Crimson Egg, it damaged her by 2, then 6 hearts of true damage. My theory is that it isn't related to immunity, but rather The Crimson's connections to other people. Puffy used to be infected, and because of this the Egg formed some sort of linkage between everyone that was or is still its guardian.
Also, today's installment of the Tales of the SMP gives us more insight on the age of the Dreamon species. An interesting point is that the plot happened in the past, and that Sir Billiam at this point in time managed to use the Egg to feed people to it, showing just how much sinister it is, when even he was not able to control it.

I'm new in the Dream SMP (I mean like I didn't watch everything and I'm only begining to understand what happens and happened in that crazy and unexplicably realistic Minecraft server) and this theory just blew my mind up!! It's crazy how things fit, even though I don't have idea if that was the SMP members' intentions (I mean, what they wanted us to think). This is almost like Five Night's At Freddy's.
There are a few sides that were shown when Captain Puffy and Tubbo mentioned about the egg. Puffy once said that Bad started to act like Dream, Tubbo told Ranboo that he felt Dreamon vibes from Bad and Ant. And not to mention Dreamon may also has a connection to the egg from what Fundy said.
Another thing to notice that Dreamon's first appearance was during the 'exorcism' which was held by Tubbo and Fundy.... And I haven't heard about Dreamon being gone, so maybe it's still alive and is inside of Dream, who is its host body. And since Dream's in prison now, maybe Dreamon decided to use the egg? To take over, control the whole smp? I don't know, that's just a thought

I learned about Fungi last week and I'm wondering, could the egg have spread underground and created other eggs? I had noticed the effects of what the egg does, and it is true that it has similar features to other kinds of fungi. Fungi has it's own kind of system where they transport information to another fungi using tiny white roots underground called mycorrhizae, or nicknamed as "Natures Internet." It is noticeable that there are "Blood Vines" all across the Dream SMP, but the strange thing is that those vines don't connect to anything, which is making me thing there another feature that the egg produces which are spores. Spores are tiny Fungi which spread across the air, the reason why they're not noticeable is because they are very tiny, but they can make food or any kind of substances like that rot or grow mold. So I'm thinking that the random vines are similar to "Spores" but might have an interesting feature to spread information to the egg. SO, what I am trying to explain here is that the egg is growing its own mycorrhizade and spreading spores to not only grow other eggs, but to learn information about the Dream SMP as it's using mind control and detects when one of it's "Blood vines" are being damaged. I wanted to say one last thing before I decide to stop, I don't believe BBH grew the egg, I think she mined it out. So there could be other eggs underground of the Dream SMP.
Tommy is the Flame of Rebellion on the Server. If you Kill him he would become a Martyr and another would rise up to take his place. So instead of Crushing his Rebellious Nature he tried to break his spirit instead turning Tubbo against him, Exiling him, Isolating him from everyone, bullying him endlessly, destroying his stuff, threatening to kill him, threatening to kill tubbo, threatening to destroy his Discs.
But when he got back his Disc's and Tubbo and Imprisoned Dream that all went away. He Became his happy self once more and with no opposition his flame no longer raged inside him because his opposition was gone. You can't have Chaos without Order, You Can't Have Dark without Light, And You can't Have a Hero Without a Villain. Tommy No Longer has anyone to Fight or be against so his Flame has Settled. The Egg can't control Tommy because has everything he wants and since he has everything that he want the egg can't become a force that causes that Flame to Flare up against it.
In Short The Egg Can't control Tommy Because Tommy Doesn't see the Egg as A Threat since the only threats that can be made against him Are Tubbo and His Disc's and he has both. The Egg tries to control people by making them think only it can prevent the worst possible outcome But Tommy already overcame that and this is Immune.

For me, I like the idea that Tommy already has what he wants, the Disks, so the Egg can't promise Tommy's desires to manipulate him, but it also relates to the Egg being equivalent to Dream in a way as both stopped influencing him due to lack of leverage, which were the disks and, when he got the disks, the bad memories he had of the Excile and such. I think that Church Prime opposes it is that Dream does not stream the SMP, so he can't get Primes. I personally think Ranboo will basically become a permanent host for the Egg even after the Egg is destroyed because there is easy leverage, being his memory, enderwalking, etc. and he's hydrophobic, so he won't willingly cleanse himself at Prime
If there is a crimson egg then is there a warped egg. I mean it makes sense due to tue fact that the opposite of crimson forest is warped forest so is there a chance to have a warped egg? If there is, then the resistance would need to quickly find it and take it into quarantine before the apocalypse comes

My theory falls along the lines of the egg gaining influence by giving people what they want to an extent. The egg is able to corrupt, such as with skeppy and the world, but Bad didn't fully fall to the egg until he realized he wasn't going to get his friend back otherwise. On top of that, Bad and The Badlands group have been rather obscure and ignored so they needed some power and influence, and the egg was able to provide that. Tommy, however, has what he desires, his discs and his friends, and anything more that Tommy wants to do either doesn't involve anything the Egg can provide or it requires destroying the Egg. Dream's crazed arc of control is over for the time being as he's locked away in prison, but I doubt he would be affected by the egg because Dream supposedly cut off all attachments and desires to avoid falling to the coercion he sought to gain mastery over. The prison was going to be a holding space for Tommy and for all the items, animals, and players who had value to other players. Dream's hubris fell flat when Punz turned on him and Awesamdude put him in prison, ans thus Dream is virtually impossible to coerce. Technoblade is an anarchist, so I don't feel that a centralized authority would sit well with him either. Though his anarchism isn't specified and the world in which this takes place doesn't exactly necessitate the specification, anarchism is not a right-wing ideology by any means and the only definition we have for "government" in this world has been an unjust hierarchy, we can assume techno falls along proper anarchist theory. A centralized authority necessitates an unjust hierarchy and thus techno and The Syndicate probably aren't likely to join the "Eggpire"
Theory: the twitch prime water is not exactly immune but its basically a "well yes but actually no" situation. The normal water too close becomes lava. Thw twitch prime water to close does not. Wool covered by normal water makes it immune to changing colors, the twitch prime water doesnt affect the change of color, in other words, the wool becomes the other color.
Because of the normal water changing to lava near the egg, not only that but magma, and crimson? Im sure that the egg is changing the overworld into the nether. This is just like my theory of Dreamons-
The Dreamon skit was something that Fundy and Tubbo made for fun as a side story. But after seeing the egg that Badboyhalo, AntFrost and Skeppy have all been controlled by, Fundy has been reminded that the room the egg has been growing in, is a room that he told Badboyhalo to make for the Dreamon group. If I'm correct that would mean that the Dreamon and the egg are related. And I imagine Dream is the host of Dreamon, being that Dream was the first person to be infected by the Dreamon, And the only person to not have his skin change due to being infected. Basically Badboyhalo turning into a black and white version, AntFrost having pink eyes, and Skeppy turning red instead of blue. It seems that dream has become a host of the main Dreamon. Then if there's multiple Dreamons controlling all these people then why hasn't dreams skin change? that's because dream made a deal with the dreamon, instead of the dreamon just completely taking over dream. He purposely went into jail so he could spend more time controlling all the people who have been controlled by other Dreamons, instead of trying to gain power. Basically if he's the main host that means he can control all people who are being controlled by Dreamons. It would be difficult to balance trying to gain power and trying to control three people at once, so instead he sent himself to prison, knowing that people would try to stop him from killing Tubbo. He did this so he could spend his entire time focusing on controlling badboyhalo, AntFrost, and anyone else who gets controlled by the Dreamon egg.
Red is the color opposite of green, he either can be a mutated version, or it’s a cloak for the more powerful version of the “egg”. Also BadBoyHalo was naturally red, so he might be an already infected person from the start hiding the truth. As time goes by, the red around BadBoyHalo becomes white, so that might be a sign of a mutation in the egg’s infection. They together persuade the others, Dream on the persuasive side kind of like a passive role, and Bad Boy Halo on the more offensive side because he forces people to join the “eggpire”. Now back to BadBoyHalo’s white stripes, now when you think about it white is a combination of all colors. Light can be seen as white as it is bright, bright, bright a mask hiding deception, power, and hatred. Now I did not get to the point of all the colors, what I mean by white is technically all the colors combined (remember this is light not paint) is that that white is a combination of all colors can be morphed into white has all the power because it has all the colors of the rainbow. BadBoyHalo can be the “egg” itself also, and Dream might be doing the same mistake BadBoyHalo was doing which is hiding his infection. This is my theory, you may disagree in the reply section on this comment. (Sorry for bad grammar if there in any I’m 10 years old sharing my theory for this “eggpire” thing.)

Side note, the dichotomy isn't anarchy and government. Government, or governance, is inevitable, people form social norms. The dichotomy is anarchy and hierarchy, or at the very least unjust hierarchy, like that of a state or corporation.
This also fits perfectly with what puffy said yesterday.
Tommy had no consequence when destroying the egg, but puffy does.
This is( to your theory) because the egg cannot control tommy at all, and would rather play with its food. Much like dream does with tommy, slowly manipulating and toying with him as apposed to manipulating him normally like everybody else.
As well as the fact that the egg has been here for years and years( take note of tales of the smp, which is all entirely canon but based either in the past or future of the current events of the smp) the egg is a lovecraftian being, something beyond our comprehension. All we know is that it wants power and it wants blood and sacrifice. (Also take note of ponks stream where he sacrifices F Ran for the egg to leave him be)
We also know that dreamons are also old monstrous beings (as hinted by tubbo stating things like "passing on dreamon hunting skills " and such, Hinting that there were previous dreamon hunters.)
So maybe both the egg and dreamons bounce off eachother continuously and forever, whenever one gets too powerful, the other counteracts, in an endless loop of power. Like the egg and dreamons on a non stop seesaw.
This also makes sense as wilbur stated that he originally wrote the characters to be in the hands of the world around them, as apposed to the world being in their hands. Everything happens as the world wants it to and the characters are just a consequence of the world.
The world (dream/dreamons and the egg) constantly play about with power, throwing about any which person who stumbles in the way of it.
The world started a fresh, the egg was stuck dormant under ground, crushed up against stone, while dream( later to be a dreamon) was nothing but a new soul in this endless earth.
The dreamon, seeing the opportunity to become active within a host, started up trouble by starting stuff like the first disc war with tommy, up until the end of l'manberg and the imprisonment of dream.
While this was happening the egg, which is now open to air and space to grow. Slowly realises that dream/dreamon is becoming weaker up until his imprisonment, where bbh decides to go ham with the egg.
The egg waited until the power of the dreamon became less, in order to grow.

Both the dreamon and the egg had nothing to play around with, so they lay dormant until these people show up, uncover and allow the dreamon and egg to mess with them.
It repeats what it has done thousands of times to thousands of people in millions of timelines.

I think u are right, but white is still in game, if u know what I mean. I think that white represents red and blue and something other. Maybe it's just a point of egg getting server in something like the control time or era. It could be that dream created the egg by accident and when egg get power he lose power and when egg lose power he get it, so there will be still all balanced
