I decorated it yesterday and thought of you. When you put the fall plaid pillows on your bed last week and I saw you light up with joy I too was so happy to see the color and a glimpse of the home that inspired me so much. Your new home is lovely and It is your space and I can appreciate it. But it being more sterile now I miss the warmth. Hope your kids are well. Miss seeing them too. Crystal your room has a ton of light with no window treatments. Consider woven Roman shades so they can be used accordingly to your preference. They will add warmth and texture to the space.
Yes I have some ivory material ones as we have the same issue. They are so versatile and they really blend in well with the wall so you really don't notice they are there. Select Blinds online has been great...I've ordered a lot of treatments from them and they have all been perfect.

I still haven't pulled out my fall decor. I hung a wreath on the front door and one inside that I use but thats it. The weather here (NC) is finally starting to cool down, still 80's but that beats 100's. I did buy off amazon 2 pillow covers and a throw for my bed. Im keeping my bedding an off white but wanted something colorful on it so I bought some rust colors. I have a few pumpkins an pictures I put out. My house (the old part) is fairly small so its hard to put out alot of decorations and not look cluttered. The new addition is larger but I don't usually decorate my room much.

Your home is beautiful. I would like to offer a couple of suggestions. Maybe try flipping floppy the coffee maker and the tray with the lamp. I think it might help hide the cords better and I think the copper canisters and the black planter on your floating shelves may look better flipped flopped. That way your copper is more on a diagonal. Love your space.

I just came across your channel and I'm so glad I did! Your home and decor is absolutely beautiful! Suggestion: try moving your Keurig coffee maker in front of the outlet/cord to hide it and put the tray in the corner.
I loved the copper in the kitchen and all of the decorations this year. Such a pleasant change. The plant is a pathos and you can hardly kill it! Remember to remove the label on the inside wall of the 2nd shelf of the hutch. I don't think you need to keep it anymore. God Bless!!

Hi Crystal! This was just beautiful! I love your style as it has evolved as mine has in the last year. I'm simplifying many things and need to do even more of that. Less is more and I need to remind myself as I want to get carried away sometimes! I've been giving away 3-5 bins of decor every season and have been investing in some antiques, better florals, etc. that I can use more than once. I'm older now and I want to get to a point that I may only be dragging up 7 bins (preferably less) of decor rather than 16. If you have great "core" decor items you can just add a little something to "season" it. Maybe there are some that can't "relate" to your beautiful home, but you don't need a grand home to get some ideas of how you can incorporate some good design elements that are not expensive. Everyone's decor style changes, especially if the space changes But I've been in my house for almost 27 years and my style has definitely changed every single year. I'd be bored if it didn't. Your home has such a beautiful structural design that you don't need to muck it up with a bunch of stuff. That cabinet is beautiful and your decor in there was spot on! Gorgeous!

Your home is beautiful. I would like to offer a couple of suggestions. Maybe try flipping floppy the coffee maker and the tray with the lamp. I think it might help hide the cords better and I think the copper canisters and the black planter on your floating shelves may look better flipped flopped. That way your copper is more on a diagonal. Love your space.

Yes! Love the rust, copper and fall colors you have added to warm up the kitchen spaces! This is such a great blend of your old and new style of decorating. I absolutely love how you have decorated your new hutch! The amazon baskets look amazing. I wonder if you could add a couple of puck lights on the inside of your hutch. That would be really cozy at night time.

Suggestion: try moving your Keurig coffee maker in front of the outlet/cord to hide it and put the tray in the corner.

I loved the copper in the kitchen and all of the decorations this year. Such a pleasant change. The plant is a pathos and you can hardly kill it! Remember to remove the label on the inside wall of the 2nd shelf of the hutch. I don't think you need to keep it anymore. God Bless!!

Hi Crystal! This was just beautiful! I love your style as it has evolved as mine has in the last year. I'm simplifying many things and need to do even more of that. Less is more and I need to remind myself as I want to get carried away sometimes! I've been giving away 3-5 bins of decor every season and have been investing in some antiques, better florals, etc. that I can use more than once. I'm older now and I want to get to a point that I may only be dragging up 7 bins (preferably less) of decor rather than 16. If you have great "core" decor items you can just add a little something to "season" it. Maybe there are some that can't "relate" to your beautiful home, but you don't need a grand home to get some ideas of how you can incorporate some good design elements that are not expensive. Everyone's decor style changes, especially if the space changes But I've been in my house for almost 27 years and my style has definitely changed every single year. I'd be bored if it didn't. Your home has such a beautiful structural design that you don't need to muck it up with a bunch of stuff. That cabinet is beautiful and your decor in there was spot on! Gorgeous!

I kinda miss the old Crystal style of decorating, but your new house doesn’t work anymore with your old style. But I do love so much how you decorated this year!
