I watched #1 live and literally screamed out of complete joy. Absolutely the best play I've ever seen live. Grew up watching Kidd and now him as the Nets coach just makes it even more sweet

I remember watching him when I was a kid. The triple double days in New Jersey Nets. The 10 points 12 rebounds 13 assists games.
Kidd's Nets--those were good times. And yes, "Jason Kidd is a magician".
Nets suck without a good point guard. They were losing by 14 points without deron williams against the Lakers who didnt have Kobe. I missed the old days with Kidd and Vince Carter. That was some real shit!
Nostalgia...keep coming back to this one. Kinda tough to be an NJ Nets fan who cannot stand the whole Brooklyn brand. Root for another team now but 4 years in the rear view and I still kinda miss 'em.

Yeah, definitely greatful for having the G Men, the Jets...admittedly less so TBH lmao. The reason they're marketed at New Yorkers though was A. they moved to the meadowlands before the Nets came back to NJ as an NBA team and none of the 4 major sports leagues had branded themselves as a Jersey team and B. so they wouldn't turn off existing fans. And truth be told had they handled the move to Brooklyn differently I might've stayed a fan, but they changed the teams whole basic identity, ditching the team colors they'd had since the beginning, decided Sly wasn't cool enough to be their mascot in BK and more recently even saying est. 2012 on their warm up jerseies and worst of all even making the old banners black and white...ugh. But thanks for saying so :)
It's really great Jason Kidd got an NBA ring before his retirement. As much as I hated to see my team (Lakers) lose to them in 2011 playoffs, I'm still cool about it. Not to mention, I guess you can say Jason Kidd got his revenge on the Lakers for sweeping the Nets back in 2002 Finals.

+Lance Peterson yeah I get you. I'm just in the humble shoes because I always liked how Jason Kidd played. He really brung up the new Jersey nets to two final appearances after leaving the suns. Can't blame him, Western Conference during 2000s Era was super packed with talent

Mad respect, he was one of the main reasons the Knicks improved so much last year. Just his locker room presence is a factor.
