I only saw the original line up once at Liverpool university in i think 1988, to this day many yr's & gigs later it remains a very very fond memory!! Losing my mind
Fantastic document!! Great playing all around!! Thank you Thank you Thank you!! Back when the Montrose neighborhood mattered and Rudz was the best place!

It's interesting to see how Revolution has the same chords and structure as Red Krayola's War Sucks from 1967. It's why Revolution is my favorite Spacemen 3 song, it merges all their influences into one track. MC5's Black to Comm, the Stooges fuzz distortion, Red Krayola's War Sucks and the lyric "it takes 5 seconds of decision" is also lifted from the MC5's Kick Out the Jams opening track!

I agree, Ricky is awfully good. Jeff Davies? Also very good, but I spose that either he doesn't want to do it or maybe someone doesn't want him to do it, or who knows? frankly, I could care less cuz Ryan from Dead Skeletons is with them and he's a fucking cool looking character and a great player to boot. A fellow Gretsch player and a great producer too. He did the last BJM record which is outstanding.
He's lost all but his front 4 teeth....can't afford implants....methadone maintenance lifer..... but the music is never short of brilliance..sharp as his cheekbones.. ... when do we get the reunion tour?after covid....cmon guys kiss n make up. Fun fact that guy is like 5' 1' or something. He came to our house once and it was like, "wtf mate did they not have milk when you were a kid?"
