Awah rip momma. This was STUNNING.... BEST VID ON PREGNANT GUPPIES HANDS DOWN. I've always found it satisfying to watch gupps give birth and to watch them grow. Amazing to me.
When I saw her back "sagging" after birth, I knew she wasn't doing very well...I always enjoy these videos, nonetheless! I see countless guppies at the aquarium store I work at, and it's very good to sit down and take some time to appreciate these little fish that I so often dismiss.
We have the same guppy😊 mine gave birth to 15 healthy fry yesterday, she is my first pregnant guppy and first experience to witness my own guppy giving birth.
The Dave, I want to thank you so much for your hard work. The calming/informative videos are so nice to watch when I just want to feel relaxed. Going to get some green moscow guppies soon! Let's hope they breed!
Just absolutely beautiful. I was able to show my children a great example of child birth in the animal kingdom. Thank you for the content and hard work!
Thank you for this video! This video made me think of my previous fish. I miss keeping fish. This was very insightful and I hope you keep on making more videos.
What a coincidence. I was in the store today and in the female guppy tank I saw some of these in there so I got two of them and brought them home. They are a bit smaller than the other Guppies, but they look pretty cool
Beautiful experience, but so sorry you lost the pretty mama. I raise ball pythons, and lost one of my mama snakes. Fortunately, he eggs were in the incubator, and all hatched successfully. I kept a female that closely resembled her mama. (Jan Griffiths).
I can't thank you enough for this detailed video. I just got my first normal eyed glass belly girl and since not having them before, I was not quite sure what those black dots were torwards the back. Now I know I have an expecting momma.
I have exactly same female guppies with glass belly, so interesting to see their progress.. Mine breed few times and all of them are still surviving after giving birth and after few months (until now).. I just make sure to give oxygen stones and enough food

@CrowntailHalfmoon Thanks for watching the video and taking the time to leave a comment. Unfortunately, I don't have any video tutorials like that. This is amazing!! Thanks for keep making these very high-quality videos. I had guppies for years and never see the moment the baby come out from their mother. Is there a way to know when the babies are coming out? I am very curious about what is the liquid comes out with the baby guppies? Is it egg white?
@@TheDave333 I’m laughing, but that is a great question. Likely it would measure as a quick change in her internal pressure…and it would be one tiny release for each one as they don’t share the same egg sack.🖤🇨🇦
Ive been keeping guppies for a long time and glass bellies are some of the ones that i never manage to breed successfully, unlike other guppy variants where i get 20+ of the fry surviving till adulthood, i only ever got 3 to 8 of em surviving
They are a bit more delicate (fry and adults) and smaller than regular guppies. The fry also seem to be heavily male, rather than female. It may be temperature dependent.
I just received my second order (fm a different seller) of "see through" ribbon koi guppies fm eBay and it's another flop. These koi breeds don't have the visible digestive track, they come virgin, they're only 1.5cm, and the males' gonopodium are so long they are useless to inseminate. I'll check out the other listings and ask before I purchase this time. Thank you for bringing awareness to this very interesting breed of guppy.
Dave, this was strangely beautiful and captivating to watch, (which I have come to expect from you) sorry the Mum didn’t make it. I used to breed guppies when i was a kid. They were so cute. My dad destroyed my little aquarium saying i have a mental issue or something as i am not doing anything else other than taking care of guppies. 🥺

I am noticing that pregnant females need a lot of food. Those babies took so much out of her. A helpful video! USA
Glad it was helpful!
Besides oxygen the fry are not attached and take no nutrients from the mother, all they need is in their yolk sack.
