Interesting God's phrasing, when he told Michael, you are no longer welcome on earth, and Amenadiel immediately interpreted that God had banished him from earth. is it possible that God used the same phrasing when Lucifer rebelled,? and everyone, including Lucifer, interpreted that he was banished from heaven....because being banished does not have the same meaning as not being welcome...
Thanks for a great reaction 😊 God works in mysterious ways…but it’s just so darn frustrating that he can’t just answer the dang question 😂 I loved this introduction to God and the family dinner was just so entertaining. Poor Linda, the only mortal at the table, listening to immortals arguing around her. I would have crapped my pants when the candles went out 😂😂😂
In most books where a character has psychic abilities, they typically cannot see/read those people closely related to them so they cannot influence their future. Since they never said God's omniscience stopped at the angels, it stands to reason he knows how their future unfolds and that they needed to believe he didnt love them i order to develope in they way they needed. And going further, maybe he gave that knowlege to the Goddess as well. Considering that, it makes you go back and question so much of the Goddess' time on Earth. And all of Michael's scheming? He would have known it for what it was all along.
Right, Lucifer. You only risked your life for her, died for her, went to hell and back for her, but yeah, you're right. You're incapable of love. -_- I'm sorry, but this part pisses me of because: 1. He does love her 2. HE DID TELL HER THAT HE LOVED HER. I've already ranted about this, but I'm going to again. "My first love was never Eve. It was you, Chloe. It always has been." Sorry, but THAT IS "I LOVE YOU!" He DID tell her that he loved her before he left. So, to have him say that at the end of the previous season and then to have him claim that he's incapable of love half a season later is so FRUSTRATING.
Loved your reaction. Yes just imagine after waiting 9 months for the second half of Season 5 just to have Lucifer telling Chloe he isn't capable of love !!🙁☹😤🤯 Loved Linda in this episode 😂
Linda making a joke about why everything tastes like chicken while severely uncomfortable is so perfect. Though I think God not wanting to give direct answers may stem from creating free will since if God told you something you assume that's the 100% truth eliminating your discovery and free will but by being ambiguous he's giving people the choice to make their own minds up.
I was certain that you would appreciate this episode, and I'm happy you did! Have been looking forward to you watching this one - and the same goes for the next!
You are much more perceptive than I was when I first watched this episode. The thing to notice is that God rarely gives specific answers. Perhaps he thinks the journey to knowledge is how you learn. I wouldn't count Michael out yet. He's the penultimate schemer; there's always something cooking...
We were dealt by the same hand, the same face, and the same bloody shoulders except you had a chip on your so bad, you manage to sell actualize it😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Well, now. Some interesting comments in there. Gonna be interesting when events further unfold. It's hard to keep the comment spoiler free when you have a grin all over your face.
I have one episode left of Lucifer to watch and will be done with the show this week, so in the future you don’t have to keep the comments spoil free! That’ll be fun :)

Imagine being at that dinner like Linda and God gets angry. That would be terrifying.

Anytime your parents called you by your real name you know it's trouble 😂😂😂
Oh yes😂

"Penultimate"? That means you think there's someone who's more of a schemer than _he_ is?

I mean if all apples are bad, then maybe it's the tree that's the problem😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
Maze clearly developed a soul already

I think you’re on to something with Maze. Maybe that’s why God told her she was perfect the way she is because maybe she does have a soul. Who knows?
Dad, do you love us? 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Amazing thing in real sense the old testament God is Jesus
