Nice to meet you! I am Japanese and I commented from Japan. Your guitars have a nice sound. I also own a tom anderson, and all tom anderson guitars sound great!

I’m about to invest in a set of SF2s and an H2+. Even if just for the H2+ I’m now officially sold. Thanks for the demo, and also, don’t berate your playing, your grooves are sick! 🤘🏼🔥

Hey Dan, not sure if you'll see this, but aside from thickness, is the happy medium a different profile to you shape-wise? I don't mind the ET thickness, but I wish it was a little more D-shape. I love the SA pickups in this, sounds incredible.

Good job but, what is this metallic sound when you attack the strings? is it a default from tom anderson?

Had a cobra s years back. To this day one of the best sounding guitars I’ve had - too bad the neck was big for my liking. Sounds like it would be perfect for you. Between the shorter scale, configuration, and hollow body. It was both punchy with sweet high-ends. Bought it new at a killer price from a local GC of all places. Prices now are easily 2.5x the price I bought it new probably 10 years ago.

Sounds killer! I do own a Cobra S now and it’s such a great guitar! Very different vibe with the shorter scale and mine has the M1 mini humbuckers in the middle and neck. The prices have definitely gone a bit mad but still some good deals if you hold out and spend more time on gear forums than you should 🙄🤣

Dan, I also have the same habit like you, the right hand hitting the volume control. Have you tried the stacked tone-volume pots? I tried in some guitars. I am happy with them so far.

Hi ! Thank you for that video ! I'm not interested in that guitar to be honest, but your playing is so amazing I kept watching to the end...I understand your channel is about gear, but I'd enjoy if you'd make some video about what You're thinking when playing, how you design your solos , working picking technique etc... Cheers !

Thanks so much! I’m going through a phase of being quite unhappy with my playing so this is really nice to hear. It’s something I’d definitely consider. I’ve always leaned away from lesson type content because I know I have a lot of bad habits as a player and my theory knowledge is lacking.

@@DanLeggatt Oh yeah, I think I see you're not the 'disciplined' type of player we can see around, but one of the most expressive imho, (coming from a guitar teacher... Lol, but mostly nylon :) Cheers!

did you sell your FGN guitar on reverb by any chance, I was just wondering because I happen to have the same guitar that came without a back plate and has a mark in the exact same place as the one I saw in your video

Hi Dan, your playing is not up to snuff!!!!!! You could have fooled me. I liked it anyway. Nice guitar, I’ve always liked the Tom Anderson’s but never played one. Still happy with the red quilt drop top that I built and it has a warmer tone. Don’t know if that is the mahogany body or the Bareknuckle pickups. Anyway I prefer some of your own guitars sound wise but this is a beautiful looking axe.

Appreciate it mate! I have since purchased a Tom Anderson in a spec that is much more ‘me’. Video coming up as soon as I have time 👍 Hope all is good with you.

That’s a mighty fine ride! I really need a guitar in this pickup configuration myself. I prefer really fat neck profiles though. Beautiful color on this and it sounds amazing. I feel you on the volume knobs. I knock a strat’s pickup switch all the time 😂.

Cheers dude! I don’t know how some people play strats without knocking it all the time. Maybe I’m just clumsy 🤣
