- I picked up a Brickmania Easy Eight Sherman Tank and the Hollywood Add on Pack. Forgive me... I start the build pretty late in the evening and you can see how tired I get as the video progresses.

I can't believe people spend so much on this. Lego is expensive enough some are these sets are 1000 bucks for under 1000 pieces. Just buy Lego and make your own shit. I can't fathom spending so much for such a small set

Well 5 weeks in and just got off on Holiday Block Leave. It's tough sometimes but also fun sometimes. I am in A Co 1-81 AR Bn stationed at Ft Benning if anyone was wondering.

The easy eight, the best all round tank of the war. Great vid.
You evidently don't know squat about tanks, or at least WW2 ones. The best tank in world war two (considering a medium of firepower, mobility, armor, and reliability-but not impact on the war-)was the M26 Pershing. The Russian T-34/85 comes close but don't have quite the armor or gun penetration. US tank crews also liked the M18 Hellcat significantly because the low profile and high speed made it a superb ambush vehicle.
As for IMPACT on the war(being specific here) the Sherman in general (all models) had the greatest impact on the western front while the T-34/76 and T-34/85 were its eastern front peers. The US used M3 and M5 Stuart's and M4s against Japan in the Pacific but the Japanese tanks were all greatly outclassed in armor, firepower, reliability, tactics, and numbers so in my opinion that is irrelevant.

Dude I’m saving up for this kit and I should have it in a week!!! I’m so exited but I’m just getting the tank not the add on pack witch sucks but to be honest I might save up for that too. Fury is one of my favorite movies of all time. I’m so exited!!!!!!!!!!

I know my history M4s have tracks but the M4A3E8 have more wider tracks then the M4
These ones are using the lego track which are wider than the Brickmania track links that they are using for the M4.
I noticed a man with a German STGstg and a stahlhelm on the tank
Stg44s were popular with some tankers
What custom pieces that weren’t lego came with it, other then the Minifigures?
The barrel and flashing for the cannon,and the stickers and the texture prints pieces.

I do love tank and i have a m1a2 and an sharman firefly but i don't have one of those versions brickmania but my tanks are my collections and i build them by scanning the picture and the detail and start building but the only problems they are colored bricks at least they are still good to me whatever they look it is ok to me
Looks awesome! But I think I'll get the COBI Easy 8, because its much cheaper and overall much smoother of a design. I like LEGO bricks, but they limit tank building and plane building with pieces and building styles.
Anyone know the cheapest way to make this or get?

Ya know Sherman's like Fury from Fury easy eights had higher guns and where always targeted so Fury in the movie having a better gun and being the front ment it would have been blown up first but the tiger crew are dummies and so are the Sherman crews due to them having been close enough at some points to knock out the German tank but they don't
I mean you have a point, almost all German tank crews were told to destroy the lead tank....the Easy 8 and Firefly variants were targeted most of all due to the better guns....however one Sherman commander made a good point to just leave the tank alone...also the fact that you wouldn’t just see four tanks by themselves....I mean they would have more support from either infantry or more tank platoons...in tow

@SHYTIMEismyTIME I did watch the video and I do say the high quality sets are nice but not everyone can spend $1400 on a lego set+upgrades I could buy a realistic cobi tank platoon for one or two brickmania tanks. No offense the sets are great, but if they made their own pieces and lowered the price I believe they could sell far more on a middle class level. Thank you for your service, you've honored your countrymen and women.
