He is actually so chill in real life while he is basically a merciless killing machine in the films 😂
Right right right. In real life he is very likeable.
Stephen Lang is an amazing actor, Colonel Miles Quaritch is my favorite character in the whole movie, both films
I liked him in the first one but I loved Quaritch in the second one. One of the several driving forces of the big picture that brought me to tears with ease.
Possible big spoilers in this interview. Be careful
Ikr. Damn Jim. Reign them in. We want to see the movie you know.
He says it's 2 hrs and 72 minutes and yet it seemed more like 3 hrs to me. I'm so glad he talked about Jack Champion because Spider was my favorite character.
That’s 3 hours and 12 minutes 🤣
Learn maths.
@@RetroJackLearn humor.
Superb actor
You are a big inspiration Stephen!!
They should’ve cut a couple of the ocean vibing scenes and added in more of colonel and spider moments
@@dianashepherd3241actually he was , because he comes to rescue them and develops lo ak character
They should’ve this… they should’ve that…
They should’ve done exactly what they did with the final cut. No more. No less.
Oh, and you should’ve stfu…
Congratulations for Steven lang
Why do these interviews give away so many spoilers. Stopped mid way through when I realised I might get too many plot elements from it.
I refused to watch anything until after I watched the movie. I had a feeling they'd be transparent to the extent of giving away the film
Can't believe he is 70.
This is a great interview! Loved hearing all of this. Quaritch in Avatar 1 is a great villain, one we love to hate, inspiring in his mad energy, his single mindedness, his brute strength, and his keen intelligence, both socially and tactically.
SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As of 5 February 2023, Avatar 2 is the third highest glossing film of all time ❤❤❤❤😊
I like this colonel
Wow I'm so spoiled, but I loved it
The interviewer is giving plot points away with her questions...
she's new lol and selfish like most women
How the hell is he still alive after the first film lol?
It a clone. They keep the best soldier's DNA for Avatar program in case of problem.
That’s why you watch the movie, silly
@@melissacourchesne2121Yes, but it ain’t Avatar program and they don’t do it “regularly” or in general.
It was just a one time thing, you know.
How is he so chill in the face of that ridiculous makeup of the interviewer?
I'd have been fuming if I'd watched this before the movie was released, dang…
"he needs to begin to operate with a certain type of fluidity"
In other words, he needs to cultivate a strong mental att-i-tude?
I always thought he said “aptitude”.
Side note: love the outfit and TNBC scarf!!
Too many spoilers for the movie in these interviews. Damn. How dumb. It's not as if people aren't gonna go see the movie so why does Jim seem to think that? Maybe he isn't so confident about the film/franchises success after all.
Jim said so himself. He’s aware the whole going to the cinema thing has been restored only to 80% after the pandemic but still hopes people will go watch it
I’ll just ask you a rhetoric question. Just don’t cry, okay!!
Are you mentally challenged or are you mentally damaged?
If the answer is ‘yes’, I apologize! If the answer is ‘yes’, I’ll apologize later!
i mean i found out that there are comic books that do tell the whole story...
seriously, comic books ?
most people don't know they exist...
such a huge shae not to bring everything out in film.
I like his character. He reminds me of chip hazard.
What the fuck is hazard chips??
And who the fuck are you??
well i wish James would bring out everything anyway.
there will always be people willing to watch the extra stuff, and pay for it aswell.
As of 5 Feb 2023. Avatar 2 is the 3rd highest gloss film of all time !!
1:43 The Way Of Water Is being mentioned in this interview
0:13 SLANG laughed immediately he heard it !
I gotta check out this movie looks visually amazing
He would make a great Red Hulk aka Thunderbolt Ross.
I guess anyone would make anything “marvel comic book” since anything “marvel” is cheap 😂
The thing is anyone would get themselves into some cheap shit, obviously, by engaging in anything cheap as “marvel comic book” whether it’s “red hulk thunderbolt god of asgard and wakanda or whatever” or not 😂
@@kayzee3595 I much preferred it when universal made hulk better and more savage just like the 2008 movie. Their were rumours that was a plan to make a second movie with Edward Norton as Banner and The Leader being the main enemy.
