I've watched hundreds of hours of RWD.
Dave has never sounded happier and more at peace.
It's just wonderful!!!
Thanks :). I feel like it gets even better once i get into BC and Yukon :)
@@RidingWithDavecan’t wait to see the Yukon Territory
I didn’t watch Dave for awhile, where did Bobbi Jo go ?
@@HighOctane-wo6cm they broke up

"Tell my grandkids that I'm never going to have.." 😅
Awesome video, this is going to be a great series! You should go NASCAR style and put a sticker on your car for each place you stop at lol
I've done many road trips alone. Stress free not answering to anyone. Do what you want when you want. The only part that sucks is when you see something cool you have nobody to share it with. But I still love it.
This is very true!
you can take the trucker out of the truck, but you cant take the Loves coffee out of the trucker
😂
Brushing with Dave. The first Dave video I ever watched was him explaining counter steering in, I think, Ocean Springs MS. I've come full circle.
I’m a jack of all trades and a master of none
I'm so happy you're doing this for yourself. I started traveling at 17 with an agenda, but no clue how to make it work. We made it work for the next 5 years, and it was the best time of our lives!
Stay safe out there Dave! You helped encourage me to get into trucking, loved watching your trucking videos and enjoying your new journey now as I hope you are as well. Youve built a great community and I would say majority will support you in whatever choice(s) you make for the channel
I have to say, I loved your trucking vlogs and was sad the series came to an end. However, I'm glad I stuck around and it's nice to see you genuinely happy. Awesome to see you taking care of you.
Some say you can't drive a $ 800 Ford Focus to and across the Canadian border.
Dave : '' hold my coffee ''.
Dave back again for an international driving vlog..... stay safe man
Waiting with Dave.
Loving these videos Dave! can tell how much fun you are having making these, i know im having fun watching the journey!
When Dave said "Am a truck driver, I can't smoke" felt that
What did you say?
Funny thing is, truck drivers in Canada are allowed to smoke. Obviously not when we're driving or anything, but in our off time we can
@@pinsentaj lucky you! Out here we have random drug tests and boy you don't want to be found with marijuana in your system.
@@ededmonds8792 Marijuana and not tobacco
@@RevoNyirenda we used to, but since it was legalized nationwide, it's illegal for them to drug test for lifestyle, so they can only swab. However, if a Canadian trucker goes between the 2 countries, then not allowed
You said brothers from the north...... I love the way you think you're always so positive you have such a great personality and sense of humor I love that... Thanks Dave
We all love Riding With Dave….❤
Good luck in Canada and Alaska and have a really good trip to.
Super excited to see what this series turns into honestly
Considering I’ve probably filmed at least 5 or 6 so far, I think it gets better and there’s some hardship!
@@RidingWithDave Interested to see, hope it turns out good for ya! How far are you into the trip in actual time now?

You look very happy. The Canada guy was chill. Will be watching all your vlogs to Alaska.
That was hella cool. i wish i could afford to do this. This would be one hell of an amazing experiencing. So glad to see you happy doing this too. Living vicariously through RWD!
That border crossing was so smooth and easy.
Welcome to Canada... Enjoy your time Dave.
Put a turn cam on that focus Dave. For the good old days.
Awesome loving the trip content
When you come back to the states, you may as well go over the border in Niagara Falls! It's a little out of your way but ita not like you're on a schedule!
How you really know you are in Wisconsin is not when you just see a cheese sign, it is when that sign is next to a Kwik Trip.
I love riding with save Thanks
It's like you were expecting him to snap a glove on his hand and say grab your toes 🤣
Can I say I miss the old outro from the trucking Vlogs. Loved the song
Bro anytime I go through an airport or border security I think they’re gonna cavity search me…
@@RidingWithDave ha. Hopefully it never actually happened. Glad to see you happy again. I don't know that I could do it In a small car, but jealous of the trip. Enjoy it to the fullest and thank you for sharing it with us
Love the series! You sound so happy. 😊
It's not just "Riding With Dave", but "Brushing With Dave."
This guy is a hoot. 😂Very entertaining stuff.
That's so funny you think we can feel the wind.. I think you're so funny I'm always smiling watching you thank you for that Dave
Weird that this video sent out the notification and is showing up at all 4 days early 😂 Something to look forward to i guess lol
Yo Dave this is actually very calming to watch keep the fun videos coming have a safe trip
So cool man what an adventure so far
I’ve always wanted to take a random long trip somewhere your not the only one🤣
Fantastic video Dave!!!
Welcome to Canada! Its going to be really flat all the way from saskatchewan to BC, if thats the route you are taking. Once you hit BC- it is breathtaking!
I'm excited for you to get further north man. Absolutely breathtaking.
I can tell you, I’m already pretty damn far at this moment and yeah… it’s amazing. Videos will show!
I would love to do what your doing. I hope you have a blast . Be safe out there
Looks like you're having fun. I am interested in how much a trip like that would cost.
After the full trip is complete and you are back home, invest in thr focus make modify the best you can to your taste
It went from trucker Dave to perm Dave to skateboarder Dave 🤣
Hold up when did I ever have a perm 😂
That was great 👍 I know, that it's only going to get better 😁 Take care Dave, and have a blast 😀
Enjoy the trip! I drove many of miles on a stick without cruise control. Frequent breaks are a must.

Looking forward to it Dave. 👍
IT’S FINALLY SATURDAY!!!!
good ol sask! rough roads in sask lol
Welcome to Canada Dave! Have fun! 😊
Welcome!!!
Yes it will make it. I am riding with you.Never been to Alaska. Have fun.
My experience crossing into Canada, no issues! Surprisingly it's entering back into the USA that was more thorough. They were much more picky.... And I'm a US citizen.
Congratulations on smuggling your first load across the border, you handled yourself well.
I would of never even liked your comment here if I knew you where gonna be a racist jerk in the next videos comments.
Let's gooo! I hope we cross paths in BC
Thanks for the vid, Dave! You're doing one of my bucket-list items (roadtrip through the US and Canada up to Alaska); A little jealous, a little in awe of the beauty
Just wait til this series gets to British Columbia and up. It’s a whole nother world !
@@RidingWithDave Hope you have fun & get to enjoy that beautiful country!!!
Outta curiosity, are you going to get to show us a Canadian truck-stop or two? Id imagine theyre just like here in the states, just cleaner/nicer
You were going nuts over the buffalo statue 😂😂….ill see myself out hahaha
Sure is pretty!! Skit is particularly beautiful
One love from Québec,Canada
I wish I could make a RUclips devoted straight to traveling the U.S. Meeting new people, hiking, and just exploring
Hey Dave it's ya boy Devin lol 😂 loving the series. I could for sure hear that border agents accent loved it haha.
Dave pretty cool series so far drive safe
It is a good day when ridingwithdave uploads.
keep on keeping on man
Ok that went way better than i thought it would
We need a "look at the focus!" shirt 😂 i was crackin up every time you said it
😂😂 I continue it too, it really does become a thing
Did you do your pre trip and make sure you got your 10 hour clock finished 😂😂
Definitely a 'different' route to get from the US to Canada.
Cheese... Check out Tillamook, OR.
If only Wooden Nickel Buffalo Farm in Edinboro PA had a huge buffalo like that.
That tick is likely from that body of water where you were when you found it.
'Usually,' Canadians are decently nice people. I've interacted with, maybe a couple, that the interactions could've been better. One time particularly, I made a wrong turn in Buffalo NY and ended up needing to turn around just inside Canada. I informed them I simply needed to turn around, but they were not 'buying' it, which ticked me off. I must've sat there ten minutes because of them, trying to just get them to let me turn around. All they would've had to do if I didn't really turn around is get a cop after me.
It didn't make sense that they didn't ask you for your passport - unless, it was at one of your edited cutoffs.
Dave I love you man, have you thought about becoming a local truck driver in the future? You rock man.
Not at this time but never know. Maybe if I ever get back into it I go that route!
this is awesome Dave! have a great trip
Hey Dave watch the movie Fargo sometime to get the accent.
Hey Dave I just wanted to say if it's not already part of your plan you should set your route to go through British Columbia, the Canadian Rockies are really an amazing drive and I feel you would absolutely love the scenery
Yes sir I did! I went the southern route for views and because the northern route was closed due to wildfires. So I hit 37 through BC and up to Yukon :)
I’m glad you’re happy now tho.thats the mane thing. Safe travels my guy
dang dude i should've used those bath cups to brush mg teeth when i was OTR. damn thats so much easier lol
Awesome Dave, take care.
So weird seeing someone I've followed for like a solid year or two now making a video about entering the province I live in.
I love living in rural Wisconsin. Don’t knock us for cheese curds. You should have grabbed a big bag for your road trip. Loving the adventure.
Oh i love them! But too much one time and it stopped up my system 😅
The fiance and I went across to Canada in 2019 in my 2015 Dodge Dart, going into Vancouver. Getting into Canada, we got there at like 3am, so the border guard basically asked us why we were going to Canada and how long we'd be there and let us go. Coming back was a different story lmao My car decided to shut off when we were 3 cars behind boarder security. I tried to turn it back on and it wouldn't start, only to realize I had it in drive still... Put it in park and the car starts. We get to the border checkpoint, get asked a million questions by the US border security guy, then we're on our way. There's more to the story, but I don't wanna jinx you Dave :p Was just odd to me it was harder getting back in the country as a US citizen than it was to get out lol
I believe that 100% haha, coming back from Europe it’s always more strenuous coming back than leaving.
Dave can u do some hat cam driving. Awesome video
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 means million thumbs up ... 😄
Focus ain't no where as good as that grom and it didn't do you dirty
Welcome to Canada Dave! Glad to see you finally made it to the great white north 😂
Personally hoping you come towards Vancouver BC on your journey.
I went all through BC! But the route to Alaska doesn’t go down to Vancouver.
I’m happy that he’s happy.
That was nice of him, to make sure you had a enough to make it and back before letting you become stranded.
At first I thought he was trying to hint at you to bribe him to let you in lol.
They have to.
They don't allow homeless people there to trash everything like here
@@mountuplikeaneagle 😆, oh so they take care of their people?
Look at that hand motion while brushing those teeth!!
Nice not to not be on a time schedule. But you can always install an ELD app on your phone ......lol.
NGL I would, would feel weird to not have that restriction on my life after 3 years doing OTR 😂
@Ryan_Stewart That's the thing I hated most about trucking.....I get it though.....I imagine it becomes a part of you.....kind of like in Shawshank Redemption when Red had to ask his boss to go pee......cause he "couldn't let a drop unless he had say so".
Dave, pick you up a Mr Buddy Heater & some propane & some food and a gas stove. According to which way you go trust me you will need both.
That’s awesome!
Subscriber from Edmonton, Alberta since your CFI days. It would’ve been great to take hwy 43 to Dawson Creek because that’s where mile 0 of Alaska Highway is. It sucks that the road iis closed in Fort Nelson. Stay safe and I’m sure you’re gonna love the scenery goin up to Alaska.
@@DRodTruckingyes sir, I ended up going the southern route on 37 :)
Welcome to Saskatchewan Dave
ha this is awesome!
lol, wearing the sunglasses at the border crossing made him more suspicious.
Instead of “Turn Cam” we have “hocus Pocus Dave has us mounted to his Focus” 😂
Small bit of advice maybe take off the sunglasses when speaking with border patrol, nothing wrong with not taking them off just might give a good impression on them that your showing respect
Have a fun adventure!!
“Look at the sack on that thang!”
Is the song from your trucking day still uesed
From the outro you’re asking? If so, no it won’t be
Hey Dave. Heard that song on the radio last week, & turned up the volume a bit. Long-story short, it seems I'm not the only RWD-fan in my area
Dave, I hope you see this while your on your way but when you hit the alcan highway there will be plenty of places to just stop and sleep. It's normal to do up there. Also going into canada is easy. Coming back Into the US is the hard part.
I noticed, all the way up through BC there were huge pull offs and rest areas everywhere. It was nice!
Dave going to Alaska, Will the hoopty make it Or blow up. So far, so good.
When in Alaska are you going to join a crab fishing boat and be on the show deadliest catch.
