add small blades to the rear drive shaft, once around, prop like near the rear diff to get more push when in the water, as for steering a small plate on the inside of the steering knuckle facing down , covering the inside of the steering wheels downwards, steering but not rotating works well.. bit like an inside lower wheel cover
I laughed so hard the first time the CHICKEN car hit the ground.....Best one yet.....you show everyone what this hobby is all about...FUN....please keep doing what you are doing.....being yourself.....From Florida with affection.
This is one of the most entertains and fun r/c videos I have ever seen. A little silliness never hurts. I like the rubber chickens, because of the expression on their faces.
Hahaha! I don't understand how don't all bashers come stock with a little device that goes "boing" when they land. That's an upgrade I'd do to mine. Arrma, Traxxas, are you reading this? 😅
I really like the scooter wheels. It seems like it drove really smooth and jumped very well. It wasn't bouncy and all over the place like I thought it would do.
how can you choose just one when they were all awesome and probably made a few of us like myself laugh my ass off!! cheers Phil. Great job on the vid and your creativity. see you in the next vid!
😂😂 Phil you literally made the whole family laugh at the chickens. Hands down the funniest bit the first hop up on the ramp 👍 . The scooter wheels were surprising . With them being solid it really let the suspension do it's job quite impressive on that truck. How about sorting a rudder and fpv lake trip with the element .👍 Great vid Phil one of my favourite channels
It's awesome seeing RUclips ers going to places you know. The place where he floated the car is the little beach area at Whisby nature park. I have taken my element endro trialrunner there before and its great as its a fresh water lake you can get your cars wet.
The chickens squawking on landing was hilarious. I've seen it as a prank on a fullsize vehicle, but try ziptieing a harmonica or kazoo to a fast car and seeing if it will make noise.
The car on scooter wheels reminds me of the time chris harris from top gear (before he joined) years ago put 4 space savers on a AMG Mercedes. And was drifting it. 😂😂 its a great video. I like your music choices in your few recent videos, takes me back to my teenager years, in sunny Cornwall!
I tried gluing siren whistles to a basher in one of my old videos but couldnt get enough speed to make noise. probably need to build some sort of scoop or intake to direct the airflow.
I love my blackzon turbo mt so much I put a 60amp quickrun esc and abisma radio set..omg this thing is now super amazing...that's why I call it my "Super Turbo " it cashed head to head with my maverick Quantum MT flux...Blackzon won...no damage ..but bent shock rod on Maverick quantum flux .I used 2200mah 50c 3s...what a stable power house . Try it...
I run the dog toys on my crawler from time to time ever since I seen your first science video, people get a kick out of it lol... I was wondering about trying pool noodles on each wheel and maybe some plastic pieces glued to make paddles?! Hehe just an idea for a future video?
Pool noodles make fantastic drift tyres on polished floors and actually grip pretty well on asphalt. I used them for test tyres when doing a modern electronics upgrade on a busted Taiyo Jet Hopper.
Awesome video, it made me laugh (the chickens) it made rock (the offspring) and i learned something i guess. Also make a 1/10 crawler into a speedboat for part 3
Cool video as always. I have an idea!!! Just typing my immediate thoughts...not having done any research but I've done a couple of TT02 drift cars using the one way diff on the front, which is awesome. My idea here is to see if one way bearings are available in the scooter wheel size, bush up the front axles to be a really tight fit , maybe even use some loctite to secure really tight on the inner race and go drift with scooter wheels on a 4wd park basher!! Getting traction to the inner race would be tricky but if it could be done it would perhaps be a good performer on those half pipes.
You should try locking the shocks full extension. It would help steering angle and possibly rear sag in the water. Not sure about the sag part, but logically.. who knows!
When I was a kid with my Traxxas Cat, I wanted to drive it in the snow, but the stock rear tires were bald from the massive power that 540 Mabuchi motor put out! My dad used to ice race motorcycles and had hex screw studs in his tires. I didn't have any lugs to put screws in, so I improvised and put thumbtacks from the inside of the tire with the spikes out. I put duct tape on the inside to keep them in place. I had a set of plastic skis from a building set I had, so I rigged up a way to mount them to the front. It went great on ice, but steering with flat plastic bottom skis wasn't that great. The only "science-y" thing I have done since was putting motion activated lights for a bicycle on my and my son's trucks so when they would bounce around or jump the lights would flash.
I'm amazed those tires stayed together. The looks of the chicken's face under the truck were priceless. Oh... How about roller 🛼 wheels for a touring car doing a high-speed run ? Tamiya?
TRX6 middle axle on the rear would give you a sort of PTO to drive a propeller. Being portals, they might provide better ground clearance for it and should spin at the same speed as the transmission output, I think.
Use a flat disk (small enough to fit inside the wheel arc) on a wheel rim on the front axel, that'll might work as both rudder and a spacer. Just be sure to have some distance between the disk and the toys. Might also add a paddle wheel for...eh..traction?

Looks like those kind of tires would be perfect for world record high-speed run
Hey Phil, I’m not sure what car to get. I’m torn between the SCX24 and TRX4M
I can't enter the raffle 😭

love the tunes! best rc music on the tube lately!
Cheers dude. I’ve invested a little more time/money in to getting better music 🤟
@@TomleyRC nice one mate ,either way vids are a great watch but with good music 👌
Scooter wheels on the infraction for speed runs💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
The chickens are hilarious!
🐥

OMG chicken 🐔 cam! i love it
the chicken walking through your workshop was brilliant 😂 😂😂
😂😂
This is one of the most entertains and fun r/c videos I have ever seen. A little silliness never hurts. I like the rubber chickens, because of the expression on their faces.
All 3 cars were my favorite! I had a big smile the entire video.
Haha, cheers dude
Hahaha! I don't understand how don't all bashers come stock with a little device that goes "boing" when they land. That's an upgrade I'd do to mine. Arrma, Traxxas, are you reading this? 😅
Tesla certainly already working on that option…
@@G_de_Coligny I got nothing on that... What do you mean? :)
Haha, Traxxas will patent something I’m sure. I’ll await my lawsuit 😅
@@TomleyRC hahaha! That's guaranteed! :p
I put the whistle from a nerf football on my hood. It looks like a hood scoop and screams when I fly down my street
Great music choices for this video Phil.
Especially the floating sequence.
Thanks mate, appreciate it 👌
Best thing I have seen for ages! All that engineering training as paid off! 👏
24yrs of knowledge right there 😅
That was fun, well put together with the music. A +
Thanks mate. Appreciate it
Nice little alley-oop rock to fakie @6:44
This was some grand, solid fun! Cheers!
Cheers dude
Excellent music choice 🤘🏻, and those chickens made my dog go bezerk thinking I had his chicken 🤣
That was hilarious with the shots showing the chicken head hanging out up underneath it lol
This is what RC should be all about...FUN!!
0:34 I have 2 french bulldogs, so it made me happy to see yours 😀
I really like the scooter wheels. It seems like it drove really smooth and jumped very well. It wasn't bouncy and all over the place like I thought it would do.
Yeah the ascent has 3mm steel chassis rails for some reason.
This has got to be my current favourite RC video 😂😂😂😂
how can you choose just one when they were all awesome and probably made a few of us like myself laugh my ass off!! cheers Phil. Great job on the vid and your creativity. see you in the next vid!
Oh I loved this video so much fun!! Thank you!
🤣🤣🤣 hilarious mate. That has made my morning all good. Nice one 👍🏼
You’re welcome lol
That was a blast to watch haha. Surprisingly, I think the rubber chickens were my favorite part.
always looking for a way to make RCs more interesting great idea 👍 👌
Cheers dude
Editing masterpiece with that music and the different shots 👌
Thanks mate 😇🙏
Awesome video. Especially the shots from camera under the chasis
Great fun video!! I’ve got the same rubber chicken but it’s blue in color. I’m gonna strap it to the front bumper of my Maxx
Haha… send it! 🐔
So fun to watch!
Thanks mate
Amphibious crawler wheel hoops! 👍👏
Jeeeeej science!!!!😂😂😂 And the offspring really is the best music for this.
Yes 🤟🤟
Maybe drain the oil out of a shock and put a squeaker in a air hole on thside of the body. The squeak on landing was great! From Mt
Mate you're funny as 😂 those chickens 🐔 🤣
Haha, cheers dude
Wheels with led lights in, epic in evenings
Yes, these have LEDs, but you need the bearings in them for connection to light up
That RC on scooter wheels is freakin awesome. Gonna make that asap
😂😂 Phil you literally made the whole family laugh at the chickens. Hands down the funniest bit the first hop up on the ramp 👍 .
The scooter wheels were surprising . With them being solid it really let the suspension do it's job quite impressive on that truck.

I’m glad you liked it dude haha. Yes, some good ideas coming in
I love science, especially stupid sceince😂
Tomley2! Deffenetly subbing 👍
Me too haha
PVC piping like on kei cars in japan for drifting.
Silicone the tyres and an end cap.....extra buoyancy 👍🏻
Hahaha this was such a great and funny video 😂👍🏻. It’s what this hobby is about. All about the fun!
the chickens are so stupid 😂 thx for making me laugh dude
Haha, you’re welcome
I just relived my childhood for about a minute. I havent heard that song in ages.
Part 3 should be a 1/10 scale Toyboata from Top Gear with the Sendero!
I think RC Sparks did a couple of videos on that. I do have another plan though :)
The chicken sound like a bad esc hitting the brakes 😅
Haha
The tires seem to perform better than I expected, making it even more fun.😁😁
Fantastic job, Phil! 😂
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Love the chicken truck 👍😆
The ducks 🤣😂😂🤣 by a long shot 😂

The chicken looking out from under the chassis, terrified, made me laugh like a fool.
Science for the win!!
great fun video, i liked the scooter wheels
Cheers mate. They drive so well!
Crazy man! Chickens made me laugh the most dude!
The chickens squawking on landing was hilarious. I've seen it as a prank on a fullsize vehicle, but try ziptieing a harmonica or kazoo to a fast car and seeing if it will make noise.
Xtreme RC really needs to be a race category.

Love the sound track!
I tried gluing siren whistles to a basher in one of my old videos but couldnt get enough speed to make noise. probably need to build some sort of scoop or intake to direct the airflow.
Get some of those light up scooter wheels, that would a great vid for the winter.
You should take a crawler with double sets of those spikey wheels to crawler course to see how they perform
A new, the amphibious modified crawler class, is born.🎉
Love it!
A 6X6 was my least favorite, but a 16X16? Thanks Phil, for the video & chance for a free RC.
Skate wheels, definitely the best set.
Maybe a lawn dart whistle attached to the roof so it screams 🤣
Yes… I thought about that whilst editing this video. I have one in the garage 😅
I love pur science...brillant!😂
I couldn't believe how stable the scooter wheels were , sweet experiment

An rc amphibious car like the prodrive watercar would be cool with a hull and propeller etc.great vid👍
I laughed too hard at the chickens and the song... Mrs thinks I'm an idiot.
Oh well 😛

The best offspring song is Hit That!!! Need me some scooter wheels and chokin chickens

i was thinking of making a go kart a few days ago with scooter and stroller wheels as go kart wheels cost alot and they can get punctured
Yes.. good idea!
So when are you getting a 31 tattoo 🤣🤣 that song fits this science so well 👊🏼🤣🤙🏼💨💨💨
i think they work great as dog toys 😂 👍👍👍😀
Yes lol
Don't have to worry about those skate wheels ballooning!
This was Fun, Thanks :)

Oh...
How about roller 🛼 wheels for a touring car doing a high-speed run ?

They were all cool!!! 😂😂😂
Build one of those fan boats they have in Florida.
Come for the RCs, stay for the science... The very very super serial science.! 😉 😉.! 😁 😁.!!
For Science!
Chickens are my favorite. Maybe do a swamp boat mod?
🐔
You are crazy ,love it 🤣🤣🤣
The offspring soundtrack is dope for RC BASHING
The chickens gave me laughs. I have suspected that something was missing when shocks compressed. Audio!
I'd like to see an RC Army Duck! I've taken a ride in a real one which was really cool.
Good idea 👌
Put it on the 10/10
I wonder if there's a way to tie the squeakers or chicken honkers directly into the suspension linkage, so any actuation of the shocks gets you noise.
Chickens for the hilarity, scooter wheels for the surprising success. I thought they would be too slick to even be able to control at all!
Such a fun video. Where did you get those chickens? My parents dogs would live them.
