If you've ever been up close to these massively muscular animals, you have even more respect for these amazing riders. They are unbelievable.
I made the mistake of getting on the back of a big bull when I was 21. You paid $10 and they would let you ride as many bulls as you wanted to. It was way back in 1973 off I-35 in Lewisville, Tx. More than anything I just wanted to prove to myself I could do it. Well I did and it lasted about 1 second. Threw me and I landed on my head and right shoulder. It was the first and the last time believe you me.
Best stress relief I ever found rode from age 20 to 45 got to get on Power Stroke great times
That's why you practice before you do some silly s*** like that you get on a bunch and have somebody teach you how to do it

@@dzimidzimo Bull Riding is not only based on the rider, but the bull as well. What he's saying is he made a smarter choice on the bull that day.
He chose a more rank bull and got a higher score than the person he was competing the closest with.
He scored a 94. The other guy scored an 88.

And in say'n that he has nothing else to prove! A nd his reward will be a life time of pain! I love how respectful of the bulls the casters are. They really treat it like it is: 2 animals pitted against each other with the bull always having the upper hand.
The bulls are just as much of celebrities as the riders.

That’s JB’s strategy. He says the guys who get completely settled then nod are doing it wrong. His theory is if you are moving when the gate opens to you’re in a better spot than going from completely still
